Excellent location. Easy to reach and enjoyed offer to pick fruit, which was plentiful and tasty.

I booked this place for us (a family of four) with almost no warning. I needed a fun place for my 5 year old twins, a pet friendly place, and an environment where we could comfortably unwind. This house did not disappoint. We loved the pool, all enjoyed the game room and it was a very comfortable stay. Clear instructions, felt safe, and I hope we can stay again in the future!

If you're currently looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and have kids, stop looking. This is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's property. Kids Paradise was ideal for our young ones, and thanks to Carrie’s thoughtful preparations, we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. This made it possible for our children to have a wonderful vacation, while also allowing us parents to relax. I highly recommend this accommodation for families with children of all ages. We look forward to the possibility of staying at one of her other properties in the future.

From the moment we arrived, our tiny 8lb CEO (aka our Toy Fox Terrier) gave his official sniff of approval, which is basically the highest honor a vacation rental can receive. Craig and Julie’s place was beyond perfect—so well-stocked, & so clean. The backyard? A citrus and avocado wonderland where we channeled our inner farmers and picked fresh fruit like we knew what we were doing. And the best part? Pet-friendly! Because what’s a vacation without your four-legged overlord? Craig and Julie were super responsive, and honestly, we’re convinced they might be wizards because everything was just that perfect. If you’re thinking about booking—DO IT. If you’re NOT thinking about booking—DO IT ANYWAY.

We had a great time at Chateau Vista. We rank it 5 STAR. What we liked MOST: - Peaceful location, far from other properties; - 4 FULL bathrooms, that made everybody very happy, especially ladies; - big dining table, so we all (14 people) could get dinner together; - very comfortable furniture and beds; - couple of us had a wonderful time in jacuzzi; - large and beautiful property and backyard, so everybody had a relaxed and quality time; - very responsive owner; - very clear instructions around the house regarding what's where; - a bottle of champagne, gift from owner, that made our ladies happier. Here are a couple of issues for owners to look into: - Silverware and cookwares could be cleaner; - Not enough garbage bags and paper towel; - The shower head in the master bathroom did not work properly; - some of the window locks did not work in the upper/lock position. Those issues by no means affected our rating of the property as GREAT.

We felt right at home and was left with everything we could have possibly have needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. This home will be a great place to stay in the warmer weather too. We comfortable unfortunately could not enjoy the pool due to winter weather, but it was ready to go, if we were crazy enough to swim. We would definitely consider this home again in the future.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. It is a great location and extremely family friendly. Vi, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

Loved Helen’s home! The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. And a quick 10-15 minute drive to surf swamis and Cardiff. The home had everything we needed, we would definitely stay again!

Jack was beyond awesome. A real cool host. A stand up guy that was extremely proactive with anything you need. I’d recommend to anyone looking to book here the place was brand new and spotless and near highways fair distance to anything you want to do

Dale was absolutely amazing. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I may have had. The home was beautiful. I wish we had more time to explore all the amenities the house had.

This was a cozy place. Great size and design for me and my partner. More private feeling than it looked. Easy check-in, house/kitchen had most of the things we needed. There is a grocery store (local) right down the hill, so that was helpful. The deck sitting over Vista was nice! The light rail does run near the house so you will hear honking during the day and at night, but we would definitely stay here again. Great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, the outside garden area is entirely usable and comfortable, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. The location is great, too, with a great cafe around the corner and so many restaurants and nightlife options walkable.

Went out to celebrate birthday and explore Temecula with family. The place was incredibly gorgeous and relaxing. It was a great place to enjoy hanging out with friends and family. Everything from booking to checking out was incredibly smooth!

Cute and cozy older home that's been fully renovated. Nice large back yard with a fire pit and hanging lights that worked great for our family BBQ. It is walking distance (less than half mile) from the ocean and pier. There are several places within walking distance for food, convenient store items, and shopping. The construction next door was loud in the days, but that's no fault of the host/property, just something to be aware of until it is completed. We felt safe and comfortable for our stay. would definitely stay again in the future.

This was our second stay at this home. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit! The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing. Check-in was easy and the host was great!

This is a very cool property. The area feels like you’re in the wildness, yet you’re only 5 minutes from civilization. If you prefer a quiet, rural stay with convenience, definitely consider this house. Cory was exceptionally responsive and proactive with his communication, would happily book with him again.

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Jacob’s home is by far the MOST children friendly Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. They had all the things (high chair, baby bath, pack n play AND toddler mattress!!) ready for the 3 kiddos in our stay. It’s a lovely residential neighborhood so nice for some quick walks, close enough to downtown Carlsbad to access the great coffee shop and Legoland (our main event). Would def stay here again!

Noel and Linda’s place was perfect for our family. We had Thanksgiving there, and a couple of other family days as well and it was so nice to be so close to the beach and have space to play games and gather inside. I would absolutely stay again, and maybe even rent the upstairs and downstairs at the same time. Thank you Noel and Linda, we had a great time!

Great communication and a beautiful house. Our reading retreat was perfect, due in large part to this home. Sleeping and parking for 15 adults without sharing a bed. Great for a girls trip!

This home is a truly wonderful find! The background and view of San Marcos is stunning and the house has a regal, yet comforting feel to it. We had 5 girls sleeping here comfortably and enjoyed our time in the home so much. The host, Leah, was very responsive and helpful. We had one small issue figuring out how to get the fireplace to work and she had her father come over to help us within minutes! Some of the features that are especially lovely include: said fireplace, the hot tub, the water feature in the background, the master bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen overlooking the cozy living room. It's a spacious home with lots of windows and natural light. Highly recommend staying here with your family or a group of people!
