Lovely cottage in a tucked away, quiet location overlooking the canal marina. Great local walks along the canal or by the river. Close to beautiful Peak District towns and villages. We stocked up at the supermarket in New Mills where the Swizzels Sweet factory is and walked our dog by the river, abseiled from the viaduct in Millers Dale, visited Hope Valley driving through Winnats Pass and walking from Bamford to Hathersage with a pub stop on the way. Final pitstop for brunch at Chatsworth before heading home. Great place, helpful host, lovely stay - thanks Andy!

Gwen and Mark were both always friendly and warm on interaction, particularly on arrival and check in. Both were really helpful when it came to warming the hot tub and quick responses if we had any questions. Thank you for a perfect stay ☺️ Alex and Emma

This place has bags of character and is super comfy. If you want somewhere that’s a little more interesting than your average Air BnB then I’d highly recommend the place!

This was a perfect place from which to explore north Derbyshire and Greater Manchester. Clean, comfortable and spacious, with the bonus of being able to bring our dog. We especially liked that it was in a small, quiet, really private courtyard. Superb value for money and we'd thoroughly recommend it.

Had a great stay here recently. The place was clean, tidy and above all comfortable. Having the office space and garage was really useful. Hosts are very responsive to any questions. Good food at the pub just down the road too.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage. Pots and Pans cottage is really lovely and Clifford is a fantastic host. He really has invited people to stay in a home-from-home - there is everything you could need for a relaxing stay. He has been very generous in leaving plenty of provisions and the interior of the cottage is completely inviting and stylish. The beds were also incredibly comfortable and the black-out blinds and the peaceful location meant that we totally relaxed over the weekend. We lit the woodburner on both evenings with the kindling and logs Cliff had kindly provided. There were fresh tulips in the kitchen and everything was spotless. We had a couple of minor questions (i.e. wifi password) and Cliff was really responsive. We can't recommend the cottage enough. We'll be back.

We had a lovely stay. Jill was super responsive and accommodating which made our stay extra nice and comforting. The house is very well looked after with everything you may need for a weekend away or even longer stay. Jill offered great recommendations for local restaurants which there was plenty of. The surrounding area was great for walking, farm shops and local goods. It was very easy to get to the national park which is what we needed. Absolutely loved our stay!

Alison and Declan are amongst the best hosts we’ve come across so far. They were super friendly and responsive whenever we needed their support. Re the apartment - it was well equipped - def above average. The rooms have good size, lots of Sun light with wide windows and skylights. Everything was tidy, clean, organized and prepared really thoughtfully (including a few extras perks for our little one). The location couldn’t be better, as there are dozens of restaurants and places to go (including easy access to trams, trains, etc). In summary, we felt like home and we’d absolutely recommend their place as a top stay in Manchester/Altrincham area. Thanks for everything Declan and Alison! We loved our time there!
