Our weekend stay at Nancy’s place was great. Leading up to the trip, she was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We were a large group, and the place was more than adequate for all of our needs. Two dining room tables, a fully stocked kitchen with everything we could need for cooking for all 17 of us, a huge beautiful yard for the kids to play, and lots of separate sleeping spaces. We had zero issues with wifi, check-in, hot water in the showers, etc. Everything was clean and beautiful. Feeding Reagan, the horse, were the two most anticipated moments of each day for all of the kiddos. We would definitely recommend staying at Bluebonnet Run.

We enjoyed our stay at Heather's place! I was very clean, comfortable beds, great amenities, and a fenced in yard for our fur babies. Very close to shopping, restaurants, Walmart. I highly recommend Heather's place if you are ever in Hewitt/Waco!!

Great place for my extended family to stay. Pool hot tub was great place to relax after the busy day. This place was perfect and the pictures were right on.

This place was wonderful! The house was beautifully decorated and was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! There was an abundance of towels which is such a dream when you’re traveling with kids! The backyard was a dream and we all spent a lot of time out there. It was so close to everything we wanted to see in Waco! The hosts were so thoughtful with all the little things they provided in their beautiful home to share with others! We would love to come back and stay again someday :)!

Carrie was very responsive for our short visit! Although we had a few hiccups with the pool and spa I would still recommend this home. The kitchen was fully stocked and I was an able to cook. The backyard is amazing, and even though the home is older you can tell they put a lot of effort into making their guest feel comfortable. If my son’s decide to attend Baylor I can definitely see my family visiting and staying here again.

At this lovely new BNB there were a few start-up hiccups, easily offset and taken care of by the host. Loved the pool and hot tub.

My stay at Moon River Ranch was unforgettable! The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect retreat surrounded by nature. The safari ride was a unique and amazing experience – we got up close to wildlife with knowledgeable guides who made it even more special. The ATV rentals were another highlight, letting us explore the stunning property through well-maintained trails, offering breathtaking views at every turn. We enjoyed the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making this place ideal for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We loved unwinding on the porch, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The combination of activities, luxury, and serene atmosphere truly made this a standout experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

The cottage at Moon River was great, we enjoyed our time there. The property is beautiful, we felt right at home. We walked around the property and saw so much wildlife. While we stayed we drove to Waco it was very nice, I’d recommend that you visit. Overall the place was great.

The cabin and ranch were very nice and matched the description. We arrived after dark to check-in and it was a little difficult to find our exact cabin as there are several like it but they do have signs showing the cabin names outside each one. Once inside we found the cabin was comfortable and matched the listing. We had one problem the first night with getting hot water but that was fixed by the next morning. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. To note, the only seating options in the living room area are a couch/futon that can seat up to 3 and 2 bar stools and there are no tables or surfaces outside of the kitchen counters so finding places to set things can be difficult. There is a long road to get to the ranch that is paved but does have numerous dips and potholes. Finally, the stairs to the loft area are steep. The ranch does offer activities that can be booked directly through their website, we booked a couple and overall enjoyed the stay.

“El Álamo” es una cabaña muy linda y acogedora, nos encanto que cuidan cada detalle para hacerla un rinconcito especial en el campo. Mi esposo y yo fuimos el fin de semana para celebrar nuestro aniversario, y este sitio fue muy lindo y perfecto para lo que queríamos: TRANQUILIDAD! Escuchar y ver a los cardinales en el árbol junto a la cabaña, poder observar los ciervos y antílopes en frente al acercarse el atardecer, alimentar a los burritos, disfrutar del paisaje, en fin! Cada detalle hizo que nuestra estadía fuera espectacular! Kelli fue eficaz al responder mis preguntas, además que la recomendación de Country Spring (un viñedo cercano) fue muy acertada, fuimos allí y disfrutamos una ocasión especial. En fin, recomiendo al 100% este hospedaje si quieres disfrutar de unos días con tranquilidad y en armonía.

What a hidden gem. The stay was top notch! It had everything you would want and imagine a cozy countryside cabin to have. We felt right at home. Hot tub is always a added luxury after long hours of driving in Texas and this one just hits the spot. Also the donkeys at the farm were lovely to interact with. The host was very responsive and took care of all our needs. She went above and beyond. I would love to visit this place again and again.
