Lori’s home was beautiful, welcoming, and extremely clean. The location was perfect as well! My daughter and I loved our weekend visit. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. Lori was a very generous and thoughtful host! Highly recommend.

Had a great stay at Dave's place, he was very kind as we booked last minute as our plans changed, and he was able to get us in to the home asap. I was nervous at first because the home is off of a main road, but it was very quiet and cozy inside, had everything you would need and a nice welcome book with his local favorites and a cute basket full of snacks & candies. It was also a super easy 10-15 minute drive to downtown Waco! Great place for a smaller family to enjoy.

The River Front Retreat was exactly what we were looking for. There are great outdoor spaces with fire pits, plenty of comfortable seating, big shade trees and lots of open space with a great view of the river. The cabin and Airstream are both cozy and have the basic creature comforts. All in all it's a great place to get away from everything but be 15 minutes away from everything Waco has to offer. I'll definitely be going back!

We had such a sweet time here with our family. The home is beautiful and the game room is so fun. The instructions were clear and the hosts had amazing communication. They checked on us, by text, the next morning to see how our first night went and continued to be available for us when we needed to reach them.

Missi is very responsive and has a perfect home for families. The added kids books, fenced in backyard and bunk beds were perfect for my kids!

The house was really nice in a good area near lots of restaurants. hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful spot to spend a wedding weekend. My wife and I felt right at home the moment we walked in. Would absolutely stay again and couldn’t recommend enough!

If you are looking for a place right on the river, this would be the place.

This is a good find! We did not come to the area for an R&R weekend. But, we will come back to Moon River to have one. The exotic animals are an nice touch. Great to watch from the porch while enjoying morning coffee. - bring binoculars! Had a great visit, staff is great, and they are continuing to improve the property. Only slight downside is the public roads getting to the ranch - they are rough!

Our stay was worth what we paid. I wasn’t expecting it to be modern and that’s part of its great appeal. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a hayride as I thought. Also, the swimming pool is hot in the summer. We had a good time, but it was like taking a very warm bath. There was no restaurant, so be sure to take your food. Even with the slight negatives, the views and ambiance of the place is so worth it. I’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Heather's place! I was very clean, comfortable beds, great amenities, and a fenced in yard for our fur babies. Very close to shopping, restaurants, Walmart. I highly recommend Heather's place if you are ever in Hewitt/Waco!!

Our stay was perfect! The details of the home are lovely, and they considered every aspect of what could possibly be needed or wanted during our stay. Our pups were welcomed, too, and the yard was terrific for them to run, play, and burn some energy. Thank you, Hodson family, for being magnificent hosts.

I recently stayed in a cozy cabin through Airbnb, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was tucked away in a peaceful, secluded area, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided detailed instructions for check-in, as well as recommendations for local wineries and dining options. The cabin itself was immaculate and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. From the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed and the warm, rustic decor, every detail was thoughtfully chosen. The hot tub added an extra layer of fun. One of the highlights of the stay was the stunning views surrounding the cabin. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the sight of towering trees was an experience I won’t soon forget. It was clear that the host had put a lot of effort into ensuring my experience was peaceful.

We had a brief stay, while we were driving thru. The Barn is right behind the main house and there is a double door entry that makes the space feel private and safe. We had two small dogs and we keep them leashed while outside and there was plenty of room to walk them for a potty break.

We had an amazing stay! Breakfast on your porch with the beautiful setting was a highlight! Definitely will be coming back :)

This was a last minute booking , and they were very accommodating. It is an Ideal location for nature lovers. You will get to experience some enjoyable wildlife sightings. Moon river has Peaceful atmosphere.
