Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

My husband and I have been taking our family on mid-winter excursions for over 20 years. In the last 10+ years we’ve added 2 son-in-laws and 6 grandkids. Alternating between Georgia and East TN, this has easily been one of our favorite getaways. Our grandkids loved the downstairs area they felt was especially provided for them, but lured the rest of us too! While we had several options for activities in the area to keep the kids occupied over the long weekend, it wasn’t necessary as they preferred to stay at the cabin and enjoy all the fun and games provided along with movies and popcorn made in the vintage looking popcorn cart! The cabin is lovely and very well stocked in every way. There was an issue with the heat-pump, but our communication was seamless with the Fordham’s and they had technicians sent out quickly to look into the situation. The cabin is set in a quiet, lovely location that affords privacy and relaxation. We would definitely recommend Lake Dakwa Lodge.

The house was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving! The kids enjoyed looking for crawdads in the creek, the playground, and yard for our Turkey Bowl. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for relaxing and spending time connecting! We really appreciated every small detail throughout the home down to the dog bones and bowls for the pups. These ladies thought of everything. It felt like home! Having stayed in many rental properties, this home is a shining star and one I would highly recommend! It was a positive and truly a memorable experience!

We had the most relaxing time staying at the Toccoa Riverfront Cabin. It was so peaceful to be alongside the river and yet be minutes away from restaurants, shopping, etc. Each day, a couple of geese came in along with a mallard duck pair. With the crystal clear water, it was cute to see their little webbed feet swimming in the water. We especially appreciated being able to bring our "fur babies" who also really enjoyed staying at the home. We slept amazingly in the upstairs bed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would absolutely consider returning again.

Our stay was great! There was 14 of us and the home was extremely accommodating for everyone. Plenty of space and great views just as advertised. I hope to book this home again in the future.

Amazing luxurious log cabin! You will not be disappointed if you book this place. Our two families (11 people including kids) had plenty of space and did not want to leave. Great location, very accommodating, and super host!

Great area to stay in. Clean house with all the essentials

This was an incredible location for a friend’s lowkey bachelorette trip. Not only were the views stunning, but the home itself was a dream! I wish we had longer than a weekend to enjoy the space. Everything in the house was well thought out and things were labelled so you knew where to put them. On top of that, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Downtown Blue Ridge is not too far away and there’s a good horseback riding place nearby as well. I would book this place again in the future!

Staying at Hamby Cottage was more than just an ordinary stay- it was an awesome experience! Not only are the cottage and farm wonderful, as many other reviews have accurately stated, but the hosts, Debby and Steve, make it a truly exceptional and special retreat. It's a rare gem of an airbnb; the hosts are so warm and welcoming, and it was great being able to meet and talk to them, and get to know them a bit during our stay. They truly love people, and it shines through in every detail. I could not recommend this place and these hosts more!

Creekside Cabin was a great place to stay. Peaceful area and the cabin was very beautiful inside and comfortable to stay in. Clean all around. Staff very responsive.

Absolutely loved this rental and would book it again for a longer stay. Great little town with lots to do and I’m sure the place is hopping in the spring and summer. I’d only suggest a fire pit and a hot tub!

beautiful location. Near plenty of hiking locations. downtown like 10 mins away. Secluded and enough space for plenty of friends but nobody had an issue finding the place. would definitely book again

Beautiful home and property. We especially enjoyed our time outdoors by the creek, back deck and fire pit. The home accommodated our extended family with space to be together or separate as needed. Fireplace was easy to use and added to the mountain ambiance. Kids and adults alike had fun playing foosball and ping pong. Added bonus: horses and donkey were pleasant to observe on neighboring properties. Plus, also saw several deer near the creek and walking through the yard. Great stay!

My family and I visited the cabin for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the check-in process. We even received a message about checking in early. The kitchen was clean. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as some seasonings that we could use. All dishes and utensils were easy to find. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very well put together. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom exceeded my expectations. There was a wraparound patio and a door from the master bedroom that led to it. This was a really nice touch. The basement had a nice size kids area and some family style games. Everyone enjoyed those. There was a fire pit and a Jacuzzi outside we use the fire pit nightly. We did have to stop by the local Walmart, which was not far to get some wood. Initially, there was an issue with the Internet, but I was able to reach out and resolve it within an hour. I definitely appreciated the quick response. I would definitely revisit this locatio

This home is amazing we had a couples valentine trip and everything was the same as the photos great place to spend time with family and friends get to know each other cooking and games are a must have the view is beautiful and lots of space to enjoy we love it and our host great communication and problem solving and the pancake and syrup was there as in the description we will book again

Celebrated a 70th birthday at this beautiful home. The house was perfect and the hosts were great. We were greeted with balloons and cake and a charcuterie board for the special event. The house was beautifully appointed and we enjoyed the luxurious surroundings. A great place to take the whole family!

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

Great spot for a family getaway. Our young family enjoyed all the comforts that Olga and Ron added to Farm Charm. The hot tub and porch view were the highlights. The fire-pit and swings were fun at night. We saw cows in different surrounding pastures throughout the day, and even deer one morning. It is very quiet and peaceful there. The house was well stocked with blankets, toiletries, kitchen essentials, firewood, s’mores sticks, etc… The open common area was great for keeping the family all together, puzzling at the big table, and watching the smart tv on the plentiful comfy couches. There were outlet covers in place and an audible ring door sensor which kept us comfortable with some extra safety with our littlest one. Olga and Ron were very easy to get in touch with and extremely timely in responding. They were very flexible when we had to change our arrival date at the last minute due to weather. Book Farm Charm now! It’s so unique and an unforgettable, relaxing place.

Such a great place, very comfortable beds, and plenty of room for relaxing! Convenient location to downtown and grocery store. I would 10/10 stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here, it was cozy and perfect for two of us. The bed was comfortable. It had great proximity to the downtown area, although we felt more comfortable driving than walking. Thanks for a memorable stay!
