Our stay at Scott's place was fabulous! Very comfortable home with plenty of space to hang out and comfortable bedrooms. All areas of the house were VERY CLEAN and tidy. We would have loved to use the backyard area, but it was a bit too cold - but the space looked very nice. The house was nicely located near grocery stores which was helpful when we needed items we forgot to pack. Will definitely be renting this property again if we have another family get-together!

I can't say enough about this place and how amazing Mira and Katy were! I wish we would have discovered this AirBnb when our daughter was a Freshman at Iowa State! I stumbled upon this place randomly, and decided we had to try it vs staying at the Gateway like we have for 4 years now. I wish we had more time. Just looking through the books had me fascinated. There are so many books to look through! We had a quiet Friday evening with our daughter at the house, made fondue and snacks, and woke up Saturday morning in the lower level master suite with 2 deer greeting us. I loved every second of our stay, and told Katy it was by far the best AirBnb we have ever been in. I just wish it was available for graduation weekend! This place is a gem, and reading about the architecture, and finding out that there is a connection to Iowa State (teaching there) just made it even better. If you're contemplating booking here... Don't! It's so perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bill's townhome. Bill was readily available to help with our planning and made us feel right at home. He even helped my brother secure another unit at the last minute when his reservations fell through. Bill's home was extremely clean, well located for our time at the lake, and the bed was so comfy! We really appreciated all of Bill's help and hospitality during our family reunion weekend at Lake Panorama and we look forward to staying there again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and cozy, making us feel right at home. As newcomers to Des Moines, we appreciated the owner's recommendations for local spots to check out. We even walked to a nearby restaurant and had a great meal! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others!

Really nice home, my coworker and I were very grateful we got to stay here while working in town. Hosts are very responsive and after the most recent snow storm driveway got plowed without an inquiry about it and the next day had a guy come by to shovel sidewalks. These amenities didn't even cross my mind when booking, they just happened. Thanks to both hosts for such a great stay!
