Great view, up a few flights of stairs. Spacious and comfortable. Loved the view from the balcony, morning sunshine great for drying clothes, and cocktails in the evening. Walkable to downtown and ferries, lots of restaurants and good shopping. It was warm when we arrived but cooled quickly with the window open

Great place to stay in lovely surroundings.

One of the things that’s hard about finding a place in a new place is the sense of relative distances. We were further outside of town than we had expected, but man was it worth it. The views down to the bay were spectacular. And being from the northern hemisphere, the night sky is of particular interest. We were lucky with high pressure, so being just far enough outside of town gave us breathtaking star gazing. Jo was so helpful in making suggestions for places to see, quickly able to help us prioritize based on the way we roll, a good mix of walking and driving, a wonderful resource and real hospitality pro. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous! Truly fabulous!! I really can’t say enough about Anita and The Loft. Anita met us at The Loft and gave us a quick tour, explained how the appliances worked, gave us great recommendations for the area. She is so welcoming and it was fun to chat with her. The Loft has a lovely deck to sit on and watch all the comings and goings of the harbor. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, kitchen equipped for cooking, showers great, all decorated tastefully. Extra touches like milk, chilled water, greenery bouquet, chocolates were appreciated! Everything was top notch!! Having a dedicated parking spot was extra nice. We really hated to leave and hope we can come back someday!! Thanks Anita!!

An absolute dream house! Stunning apartment with a gorgeous view. You definitely feel like spending a holiday with style :) Breakfast at Seaside restaurant are mind blowing! Best coffee in town. Plus! You get a discount :) We had the best time there. Will definitely recommend and we will repeat! Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waimiro. The apartment is spacious, well-planned and equipped - also modern and spotless with the most stunning sea views. It was a joy to immerse ourselves into this peaceful location from the deck, be it on the relaxing lounger or with drinks at the table. Jane provided an expansive and useful welcome pack including visitor recommendations. We really enjoyed our day walking along the beach into Paihia, taking the foot ferry to Russell, climbing to the outlook at Flagstaff Hill, swimming at Long Beach - winding up with a fish and chip finale on the beach back at Paihia! Last but not least, Jane is the perfect host; welcoming, interesting, warm and helpful. Our sincere thanks to her and Dave. Our one regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

John’s place was absolutely fantastic—exactly what we were looking for! The location, right next to the ferry in Opua, couldn’t have been more convenient, giving us easy access to explore the area, whether by ferry, boat, or car. The boathouse is a truly unique experience, built right on the water, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. It was such a treat to wake up and hear the gentle sounds of the water just below us. The accommodation was spotless, with the kitchen and bathrooms immaculately clean, which made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every detail of the space was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. We appreciated how well-stocked and organized everything was, from the kitchen essentials to the fresh linens. John was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!!

Janes Wohnung ist super: Modern, neu, sehr sauber, perfekt ausgestattet, mehr geht nicht. Hinzu kommt die wundervolle Terrasse mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedauert, nicht länger bleiben zu können.

Our stay at Noble View was perfect in every way. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is well furnished with lovely comfy beds and sofas. The views from the house is dangerous as you can easily lose a day just watching the harbour. Noble View is a 10 minute stroll from Russell. It’s located in a quiet area close to some lovely walking tracks. It was perfect for our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Marion is a fantastic host and I can’t recommend Noble View highly enough.

We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

We enjoyed a lovely few nights at this secluded and beautiful Cottage. It had all the amenities we could have needed, a stunning view, absolute privacy and a detailed, responsive host. Highly recommend if you are planning a stay in the area!

Had an awesome week in the far far North at Neils place. Awesome views from the lounge, with an excellent bay for swimming right outside. Neil has all the facilities you would ever need to enjoy yourself, and made a terrific base for our group. Would happily stay here again in the future, thanks for everything Neil!

Hands down the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed— house was spotless and beautifully appointed, so comfortable with all that you could want for a getaway. The views of the water are mesmerizing, glorious sunrises and birdsong, with kiwi calls and dark skies full of stars at night. Highly recommend this property to anyone in search of tranquility and luxury.

Staying at this lovely place on earth for the last weeks was unique. The stunning sunrises, the night sky with all the starts as well as the view itself were outstanding. The home is a very cosy place with everything you need and we feld very comfortable from the first second. The very warm welcome and the perfect communication during our stay made it so easy to enjoy to the fullest. We really enjoyed watching the kingfisher hunting for food, the relaxed Kererū or the happy fantail & tui. Going to the beaches around Kerikeri for example Coopers Beach, Long Beach in Russell or Taupō Bay to name just a few, were worth every single second. We made many trips from day to day and were relaxing in the garden. The time at this special spot on earth was flying so fast and we have so many wonderful memories to take with us - we enjoyed so much. A special thanks to our gentle hosts Jordan & Charlotte for having us such a long time and we wish them all the best!
