The house is in a beautiful location. Sharon, CT is definitely worth visiting. Especially during the fall.

Thank you for a very nice stay! Hillary was very responsive and friendly in our interactions, the house is very well-equipped and all instructions were clear and well laid out, everything was very clean with nice updated baths, setting is quiet and really convenient to our daughter’s school.

Very nice house with lots of room to spread out. The tv room was our favorite. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location is not far from grocery store, hiking and wineries. It snowed the night before we left and we were nervous about going down the steep road but the neighborhood does a great job plowing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home- well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need and a cozy fireplace. We have stayed here many times and always love it. The water in the upstairs bathroom could be finicky so we did not have hot water if the dishwasher was running, but it would come back after giving it 30 minutes or so. The beds are really comfortable, although the bedroom on the right when you get to the top of the stairs is extremely squeaky. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Rachel was incredible to work with. The house was cozy and exactly as described. We were there in the winter and it snowed and the driveway was plowed when we woke up. We ran into a situation (not related to the house) and Rachel was awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this house to rent.

I know people use the words, fantastic, and stellar and perfection all too often but these three things describe this gem of a home perfectly! The home is beautifully furnished The amenities are exactly what you would need. It was such a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to come back.

Sean's home was perfect for our stay- right on the bike path through Salisbury and a block away from the shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. A random perk for me was high quality (sharp!) chefs knives in the kitchen, unheard of in an air bnb!

Katie and Ricardo accepted our reservation last minute, and were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Beautiful and spacious apartment, perfect area to be in if visiting for business or a connecticut getaway. I was visiting on business with my wife and dog.

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

This AirBnB is so thoughtfully designed and decorated. Every detail was cozy, beautiful, and felt luxurious! I definitely want to come back!

This was my second stay in less than two months at Wilson’s place. My family and I enjoy the ability to park our rental, separate TV watching spaces for each bedroom, and separate sleeping areas. The house is now my home away from home after staying at several others since bringing my daughter to college here; but Wilson & Co-host Jaime are amazing! Always super responsive not automated messages, very clean and comfortable living space, and well Stocked with key essentials and good location off 95 making it easy to go to Little Italy, Yale shops and well known tourist sites and restaurants. Corner house off busy street but at night you hear nothing. Great window coverings and having 2 full baths are essential. I highly recommend this space and the great hosts. This is my new home away from home after a second successful trip!

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

Elisa was an amazing host! The place was absolutely stunning, the pictures didn’t do enough justice. It was so cozy and it was the best lowkey hangout spot. She made the weekend absolutely perfect by adding cute valentine’s day decorations for my boyfriend and i, and being so easy to reach with any questions i had. i definitely recommend staying here, this trip definitely made it in our top memory list ☺️☺️

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would! I love Airbnbs, and have stayed in them in many states. The Charming Cottage in Chester, CT ranks among the very best experiences. The cottage has two huge bedrooms huge, but cozy. All the other rooms are big, but cozy as well. I loved all of the windows and natural light. I am an older woman, staying alone, and Bridget looked out for me the whole time. Perks: lots of stuff in the fridge and pantry (don't buy butter!) tithe fireplace is ready, and has both kindling and logs. The area around the cottage is woodsy and lovely. Throw blankets on the sofa. Lots of books. Dining room with solar panels. A short walk to the quaint little town of Chester and the Goodspeed theaters, (which is why I was there.) Bridget communicated rapidly and was incredibly sweet. I'll be back, and I'll reserve plenty early to stay here again!

I stayed in the dead of winter and I loved the fireplace even though I was there for work. It felt very relaxing to come back to this space. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the summertime or fall.

Paul’s place had the style of grand old home but it didn’t feel old: everything worked as it should, the kitchen and baths were updated and gorgeous. Amazing. We visited with family over 3 days and it was a fantastic, comfortable place to be together. Paul was gracious and helpful. Furniture and beds were of high quality and comfy. The grand piano in the living room was an extraordinary instrument and very much in tune - it was played for hours. All the guests gushed about the place, several saying it felt like a classic movie set. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. We very highly recommend

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

This home is great for a family or two. Wonderful items in the large yard for children to play in, on and zip along. The side screened in porch is great for morning coffee or evening hangout. A chilly night, the gas fireplace is easy to work and adds a level of warmth to the great sitting area.

We cannot thank Dan enough for making our wedding weekend so special. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that immediately put us at ease. We were both overwhelmed with wedding plans and details, but Dan's calm and welcoming presence made all the difference. He took the time to show us around the space and genuinely made us feel at home. The property itself is absolutely stunning—beyond our expectations! The aesthetic is so beautiful, and it perfectly set the tone for our wedding weekend. Not only did it offer us the perfect space to relax before the big day, but it also accommodated our wedding party beautifully. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed and so comfortable, making it a place where we could unwind and feel at ease. Our wedding stay was beautiful, and having this incredible place to retreat to made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. We will forever be grateful for Dan’s hospitality! - Cory and Trey
