The apartment, it's clean and comfortable. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, with a steep set of stairs leading up to the kitchen. And more steep steps from there leading up on to the roof terrace. This didn't bother me but it might be a little difficult for an elderly person. About the stay. I was slightly unlucky with the weather, which was variable, with a chilly north east wind at times. But it's winter time, so c'est la vie! There are two sun loungers on the roof terrace, so when the sun is out it's great to sit up there. You get a 360 degree panorama of the town. About the host. Ana Isabel was very welcoming. She went out to the local shop to buy a couple of things like sugar and a complementary can or two of beer after i arrived, which was nice. And she can recommend what to do in town and where to eat, if you require that kind of information. She was flexible about checking in and out times too.

We had an incredible 5 nights in Bruno's home. Can't overstate the property and location. Sitting on an estuary between Lagos and Alvor, the views and setting from the deck are incredible. Amazing sunsets. Just down the road is a small beach and the water is perfect for wind sports etc. The house itself is extremely comfortable and the details are well thought out. You can truly relax in this setting. Very comfortable sheets and bedding. Olga and Ivan and their young son live on the property in a separate apartment beneath the main house. They are lovely, incredibly helpful and prepare a wonderful breakfast. We had an excellent holiday in Bruno's home and would highly recommend.

After our bad experience last year we were a bit reluctant to book again through Airbnb. We felt lucky we did as Bill is a great host that doesn't take a comment personal (unlike our host last year) and is very responsive. Tavira is a wonderful town with many good restaurants and the coast along the eastern part of Algarve offers great beaches. We enjoyed a great holiday!

Another wonderful stay at this fantastic home. The warm pool, relaxing steam bath, and cozy fireplace made for the perfect winter escape. Everything is thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. António is an excellent host, always available and welcoming. Highly recommend this place – looking forward to the next visit!

Nice and spacious House. Pool was clean and 30, jacuzzi even hotter. Excellent communication and welcome by the caretaker!

The host was really nice, opened the door for us, showed us around, prepared breakfast. The location was clean, it is a nice, small traditional house in the courtyard of their home. Everything worked well, the host was always there for us, when we needed something. Beautiful house, beautiful garden, very friendly people, and it was located on a hill inside the village. A very comfortable and clean apartment. Great location within walking distance of Alvor centre, and a very friendly and responsive host in Lucibella.

Le logement proposé par Bruno sur l’annonce étant déjà réservé, l’hôte nous a proposé un appartement hôtel juste en face de la résidence qui a rempli toutes nos conditions. Spacieux et confortable, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Portimão et ses environs. À noter la réactivité de Bruno qui répond toujours rapidement à nos questions.

Logement de qualité ou le calme était de mise pour du repos , équipement excellent et les 2 terrasses permettent de vivre en simplicité , les hôtes nous ont très bien conseillé , resto .. sortie .. etc l apt est conforme au descriptif

Très agréable séjour . L'appartement était très bien équipé, spacieux, très propre et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner succulent. L'emplacement vous permet de séjourner au calme tout en étant proche de tout. La propriété est un vrai havre de paix. Nous étions en couple mais nos enfants auraient adoré l'endroit. A noter également le ménage proposé tous les 2 jours sans supplément et la gentillesse d'Isabela et du personnel.

We had a pleasant stay in Olhao. Lucy was a great host, very helpful and very kind. Not only she answered all our questions, but she checked on us several times to make sure that we were enjoying our Portuguese vacation. The apartment was very clean and conveniently located close to several grocery stores and train station. The walk to fish and farmer's market was enjoyable and not very long. Good possibility to explore neighbouring towns by train and all seems to have something unique. Really a great stay! Thank you Lucy!

O Tiago é um excelente anfitrião e muito afável, predispôs-se a ajudar em tudo pra que tivéssemos uma boa estadia, recomendou-nos excelentes espaço na Fuseta e bons restaurantes, o pequeno-almoço fornecido muito bom. Recomendo vivamente e tenho a certeza que iremos voltar.

Highly recommend the Santa Cruz accommodations. Very clean room, good size. Common kitchen/breakfast area with all-day/evening access to fruit, coffee/tea, and pay-as-you-drink sodas, bottled water and alcohol. Located in the old town, it is easy to walk to many restaurants. Free parking is about 5 minutes away in a public lot just outside the walls. Fairly easy access to the Ponta da Piedade boardwalk if you are willing to walk 15-20 minutes to get to the trailhead. Anna is on the property much of the day and is so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit. Good value for money. Would highly recommend staying here.

Logement conforme à la description. Endroit très calme et idéalement situé pour visiter la côte sud du Portugal. Nous avons pris un très bon repas le soir au Gîte, typiquement portugais, excellent ! il faut réserver 24h avant. Nous recommandons. Merci à Mariana

3 nachten hebben wij verbleven bij Anne-Marie en Alain in een prachtig smaakvol ingericht huis met uitzicht op een prachtige tuin. Elke dag een vers en uitgebreid ontbijt. Slapen doe je in een zeer goed bed. Er is een map met uitgebreide info over de omgeving. Anne-Marie en Alain zijn altijd op de achtergrond aanwezig, maar zijn voor een gesprekje of informatie zeker aanspreekbaar. Een geweldig verblijf en lieve geïnteresseerde host.

Dominique & Caroline are wonderful welcoming hosts. coming from India we immediately felt at home as soon as we entered their house. The room is very comfortable and cozy with an amazing sense of detail. Breakfast was memorable with fresh bread, croissant, great coffee and fresh orange juice. Silves is a beautiful place to visit as well.

I stayed in the basic room which was exactly how it was described, however I have to say, although basic, it really was comfortable and had everything I needed, warmth, light, and although as stated small, it felt airy and roomy. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were so amazing I did want to leave my luggage and take one home (I didn't), but I slept very well. Rozaleen and Gino were very welcoming and Rozaleen's kindness was invaluable to me as a solo traveler. The breakfast was as previous reviews had stated, incredible, fresh and plentiful, so much love was clearly shared through the breakfast. The shower was very enjoyable and powerful. It is somewhere that I would immediately return to if I go back to Olhao for sure largely because of the lovely welcome and home from home feel. Thanks Rozaleen and Gino x

100% worth it. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but I couldn't recommend this place more. We stayed in Room #2 which I believe is the King adjacent to the pool. The decor was so well done. The breakfast is delicious and hospitality was amazing. We had an early bus ride back to Lisbon and Marlene packed us some snacks for our journey back which saved us a lot of trouble. Some small details that I don't think other people have mentioned, the water pressure is great in the shower and you won't have a problem with hot water. Simply a great experience here. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the horses across the field! Ubers are super cheap and they had no problem getting to this location. We rented a car for a day and had no problem parking. There was plenty of space and room for more. Couldn't recommend Marlene's place more and it was easily the best AirBNB experience we had in Portugal by far.

We had such a lovely time, this is the perfect accommodation to discover this part of the algarve. Natarcia is such a great host. she gave us so much tips for the neighborhood and provide a nice & diverse breakfast every day! 10/10 (also 2 friendly cats on the premises, which is a big plus as well)
