I can't recommend this apartment enough. It's huge (four bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen), clean, well-equipped, including reliable internet, and the location is incredibly central, just maybe 100 meters away from Galata tower, if that. It is also the closest thing to accessible you will find in this part of Istanbul-- which is very hilly, so it's definitely not for people in wheelchairs, but I was here with my parents in their late 60s with mobility issues, and they managed it. It's also very close to the tram-- if you're fit, you'll definitely want to walk to the sights on the other side of the Galata Bridge (Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, etc.), but if you're not, you can take cheap and fast public transport close by. Nihat is absolutely fantastic, with the highlight being that he offered to keep our luggage and drive us to the airport in the afternoon for an incredibly fair price when our original flight out was delayed by 5 hours. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Hasan was an amazing host, from helping us with recommendation on where to go/what to do/ best food spots, he was able to assist. Hasan was very accommodating and even kept our bags safe after we checked out. The location of the apartment is so central that it is almost impossible to be bored. 10 out 10 recommend.

Apartamento muy cerca del gran bazar, camas súper cómodas, ropa de ropa y espacios super limpios. Baño un poco pequeño. No hay cocina, sin embargo hay un horno microondas y una tetera para hacer té o café! Abajo Ali tiene una pulpería, supermercado cerca y muchas soditas cerca para comer. Ali y sus familiares siempre atentos a ayudarnos y que estuviéramos cómodos! Súper recomendado!

Spacious and clean apartment with perfect location and great host. Besides 2 good size bedrooms, living room was very comfortable too. It is minutes walking distance to many historical spots of Istanbul including Galata Tower and Spice Market. There is public transportation options as well. Upstairs terrace has fantastic view of Istanbul. Tons of restaurants, bars and shopping around. Host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. We also got helped for airport transportation.

İlk defa Airbnb tuttuk çok şüohelerimiz vardı ama her şey çok güzel di. Biz Şubat ayında tuttuk odayı… Yazın almanyadan gelip 3 hafta otelde kalacağımıza burayı tutsaymışız keşke dedik. Istanbul konaklamalarımızda yine burayı tutmayı düşünüyoruz. Tek sıkıntı bizim için eşim, ben, annem ve kayınvalidem le tuttuk evi. Çalışanlara tekrar çok ama çok teşekkürler. Her şey için çok yardımcı oldular ama özellikle valizlerde yardım etmeleri çok iyi oldu bizim için.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Kommunikation mit Ali war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist super zentral gelegen, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

El alojamiento es perfecto relación calidad-precio y nos sentimos como en casa. Está ubicado en una buena zona donde es fácil moverse en transporte público a las zonas turísticas de interés. Ali y Deniz fueron muy amables y siempre respondieron rápido mis dudas. La vista del rooftop es espectacular. Recomiendo mucho este alojamiento

This place is in Taksim square. Close to all the main tourist attractions in a walkable distance, and matched the description and photos, with very helpful and friendly hosts. Had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Alles bestens. Wir waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden. Deniz ist ein super netter Gastgeber.

Odamız temiz ve düzgündü fiyatına göre gayet iyi bir oda çok kolay bir şekilde giriş yaptık ve asansör de vardı teras katı gerçekten büyüleyiciydi sırf o manzara için yine orda kalırım. Ayrıca ev sahibi sıkıntı olunca hemen yardımcı oldu.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in Istanbul und es war perfekt, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, modern und bot alle Annehmlichkeiten an die wir brauchten. Das Highlight war die Dachterrasse. Die Unterkunft befindet sowohl in der Nähe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten die zu Fuß erreichbar sind, als auch Metro- / Busstationen und Fähren. Ali war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, er hat immer sehr schnell auf Fragen geantwortet und hat uns mit dem Transfer vom Flughafen und wieder zurück geholfen. Wir können einen Besuch in seiner Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen bald wieder! :)

The Saffron House is very well located, close to prime attractions and in an interesting neighborhood with lots of history. The owners have kept many of the original features of the home and is decorated with lovely art. Ozkan, the manager, is exceedingly kind and helpful and he took me on a day tour of the major sites.

Daire fotoğrafta gösterildiği gibiydi. Manzarası şahaneydi ve kendimi gerçekten evimde gibi hissettim. Resul Bey çok ilgili, kibar ve bilgilendiriciydi. Bana çok yardımcı oldu ve çok hızlı yanıt verdi. Tekrar tercih edeceğim.

The apartment was great. It’s located in the perfect place. Taksim square is about a 15 min walk away and the old Istanbul is a 15 minute drive away. Our stay was wonderful and we would recommend this stay to others. If I ever come back to Istanbul, I will reach out to Adam.

Es war alles super! Fethi ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war geräumig und in einer ruhigen Lage. Der Abschnitt mit vielen Essmöglichkeiten der großen Einkaufsstraße „Bağdat caddesi“, war in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Abschnitt der Straße, welche Shopping Möglichkeiten bietet ist weiter entfernt. Wir haben uns grundsätzlich sehr sicher und in guten Händen gefühlt, konnten ohne Probleme kochen und waren mit der Ausstattung der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Es ist alles funktionsfähig und sauber. Vielen Dank!! Gerne wieder!

Furkan tuvo mucha paciencia, llegamos de noche y nos tardamos más tiempo del que le dijimos y nos esperó. Nos ayudo a cambiar los euros por liras turcas y nos recomendó lugares turísticos para visitar. Mi motivo del viaje fue una cirugía y él se preocupó por mi salud, incluso nos envió postres de regalo. Nos hacía falta una sartén más grande para cocinar y de inmediato envio una nueva al airbnb. Lo elegiríamos otra ves sin duda, el mejor anfitrión.

Stayed a week at Firat’s place, and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment felt like home and the balcony was one of the highlights. It’s quite even with the doors opened. There are plenty of amenities in the apartment, the gym and the pools. Would highly recommend staying at this apartment, definitely will stay again!
