Great spot, great views, secluded

Lavender house was amazing and Amy is an amazing host. Everything was super clean and I felt right at home. I was looking for a place to relax for a short stay and it was just want I needed. Amy pays attention to details and there were so many accommodations. Chargers, toiletries, and even snacks! The outdoor space is just as impressive as the home. I definitely enjoyed my time. One of the best stays I’ve ever had through Airbnb. This will be a repeat booking in the future.

Great "cabin" on the water not too far from shopping and restaurants in Jasper (25 minutes) and about 40 minutes from Downtown Birmingham where there is plenty to do. This home is cozy and well decorated. The kitchen is great for home cooks, since food and grocery delivery service is not available in this rural area. We stayed for a month through the winter and the space made available by the host kept the home nice and toasty. The view of the water and deck is unbeatable so close to the city. The hot tub was a fantastic amenity, we enjoyed coffee in the morning will soaking in the hot tub, with a view of the steamy winter time river fork and a mating pair of blue herons every morning doing their fish. A couple days got warm enough to try to use the telescope and we brought our fishing poles to sit on the deck and practice our casting skills. We especially enjoyed the collection of live house plants in the home. There is a staircase to the front door and water in this split level home

Dock Holiday absolutely exceeded our expectations! We were looking for a clean, well-maintained rental that offered solitude, space for family activities with our teenage sons, and closeness to nature. Will’s cabin did not disappoint. The hosts not only offer an amazing lakeside cabin retreat, they create an experience for their guests through the small touches like a personalized welcome message, a bottle of wine upon arrival, and access to “extras” like detergent, hand soap, etc. We literally just had to show up and enjoy ourselves. The cabin itself is clean and obviously well cared for. It’s beautifully and tastefully decorated — comfortable and homey without feeling like you were staying in someone else’s house. We also appreciated the high quality furnishings, including even the outdoor furniture and amenities. We can’t say enough about the perfect experience we had staying at Dock Holiday! Thank you Will and family for making our holiday getaway one we will always remember!

Our family spent Thanksgiving week here and it was perfect! The home and surroundings are absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the lake! The home was exactly as described, it was spacious and inviting and perfect for a large family. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to prepare thanksgiving dinner along with many other meals. We had an amazing time creating lasting memories. Jay and April were incredible hosts who were always quick to respond. Spending Thanksgiving at their beautiful home was truly amazing! The serene environment and cozy accommodations made it such a memorable experience!

Brettany's place was delightful - the design theme of Mississippi Magnolia and books is so charming and whimsical!

This is a beautiful spot on Smith Lake! We had 12 in our family reunion and all slept very comfortably. There is a huge back porch with solo stove fire pit which is perfect after a day out on the water. The dock is really big and fun to hang out, plus they have some water equipment-kayaks, SUP boards and a lily pad for sun bathing. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Very nice home. Super quiet neighborhood. After our grocery run on Friday morning we never left the house until check out. No issues at all! Highly recommend.
