This little home was very cozy and cute. It was extremely clean with no strong fragrances from plug ins or laundry detergents. We are sensitive to strong, chemical smells and we were very comfortable here. It was a five minute drive to our destination, we lived the beautiful trees in the backyard and the surrounding houses were quiet. It was a peaceful stay! Thank you!

Great host, very responsive! We had some issues with the bed, but the host tried his best to offer help, eventually he partially refunded us. Very peaceful place to stay, close to NRG national park. The co-host Christy is nice and helpful too!

An amazing, one of a kind, stay. The kids LOVED the decor and especially enjoyed the escape room. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and the details showed so much thoughtful care. I especially appreciated the great bath towels and the RO water in the kitchen. The location was great for our excursions to New River Gorge National Park. Can't say enough how much this was a perfect start for our trip.

This home is well worth the cost just for the proximity to great New River Gorge NP trails and the restaurants and experiences in Fayetteville, but the house itself is so thoughtfully set-up to welcome guests. Everything about the experience was top notch, and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

We stayed here as a home base while hiking NRG. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, one of the best we’ve stayed in. It was perfect since we cooked group meals each night. The house is very clean, with a nice covered carport to take off muddy hiking gear. The house is just a few streets away from Fayetteville shops and a very cute Main Street. If you’re comfortable crossing a very main highway on foot, you could definitely walk there, however we drove. A great place for exploring NRG, particularly near the bridge, as the main visitor’s center is a less than 10 minute drive from the house.

We stayed at Shane’s place for a weekend climbing trip and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was large and had a great kitchen and living room for the group to hang out in and cook meals. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and the space was well set up for us when we arrived. Shane was kind and responsive in our messages. Overall this stay was a great experience and I would be happy to book with Shane again.

We had a lovely stay at Kevin’s exploring the New River Gorge National Park. There were lots of great hikes nearby which made it perfect for working remote and then getting some quick hikes in after. The place was very clean and the kitchen made for good cooking.

Clean and comfortable. Liked the bedroom with no windows because we like to sleep in darkness and the beds were comfortable. Also, like the covered parking because it allowed us to unload and load in the bad weather. The snacks and drinks the host provided was nice to curb a craving. There are small steps throughout which the host advised us to watch out for to avoid tripping. Place was convenient for visiting friends.

Great place for the money in a great location.

Had a great time staying here while I visited New River Gorge National Park! It was a clean, quiet, and cozy space that’s close enough to everything you need while still being in a small town. I loved the craft room! I highly recommend.

This was such a memorable stay! It is just minutes driving distance to the River Gorge Park Visitor center and various trail heads. The home is so cozy - the perfect size! We felt like we really utilized the whole space and had exactly what we needed. They have such a great sense of hospitality and comfort, while also providing a fun and eclectic space. Between the amazing outdoor surroundings of Fayetteville and the house itself, you will leave absolutely refreshed and reinvigorated. Do not miss the local “Sandwich Society” restaurant!
