A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

We had the most wonderful Christmas at Louise’s house. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and have so much character. The village was really lovely as well. Louise was an excellent host, helping to make our stay as special and easy as possible. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Our operatives enjoyed their stay at Andy's place, we extended our stay beyond the original term. Great host, great communication, would recommend.

Great stay, dogs enjoyed themselves as we did. All equipment was either easy to use, or instructions were simple to follow. Presumably the storm broke fence where dogs could escape, but it was fixed in less than a day - amazing! Felt like we were staying in a thoughtfully put together home. Would come again - thank you.

Our extended family loved staying at Burrow to celebrate a 40th. We enjoyed meals around the kitchen table and aga, a freezing dip in the natural pool and warming up in the sauna. A great place to explore Suffolk’s coast and countryside. Helen was warm and lovely. Recommended!

We had a lovely stay. Nice and spacious with everything we needed. Lots of seating when family came over. Alice was quick to respond when needed. The baby loved running up and down and seeing the chickens. Would love to come back in summer when the weathers better to explore more

We had a wonderful stay at Polly’s cottage, the kids loved the garden swing and we enjoyed the cozy fireplace and peaceful surroundings - we’d love to come back in the summer time!

My family enjoyed our little weekend break in this accommodation. Home from home. Nice corner plot with a lovely hot tub which kiddies really enjoyed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We had an amazing time at Simon's place and our dog loved it too! The caravan was exactly as described, clean, very comfortable and welcoming to pets. It was in a great location, and we loved being close to the beach, the only difficulty was getting our dog out of the water - he loves it so much. Simon was incredibly welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Simon went above and beyond by providing bowls etc for the dog as well as extra pillows, blankets for us and added things in the kitchen. We appreciated the local recommendations of all the amenities that were on site and near by especially for dog walking. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mersea.

Such a comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Great location in Reydon, easily walkable to Southwold. Secure back garden which is such a bonus when you have a dog! Lots to do in the local area, great walks, cafes and pubs (many of which are dog friendly). Corin is a great host and responds quickly to queries. This is our second time in this cottage and we will certainly be back.

Very spacious annex with well provided kitchen, lovely location, amazing value for money. A great find, will book again if back in the area.

This place is really special. We felt at home straight away and our little dog did too! It was comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you could need. It feels like it was once a loved home. Minutes from the beach and really nice restaurants, pier etc. Perfect communication from Maureen. We had a great time and would love to go back soon.

I had a remarkable stay in the Sheppard's Hut Lupin. I looked amazing from the outside and then I opened the door and it was spectacular. Diane had stocked it out so well and I was immediately made to feel at home. It was so comfortable and warm and I had a good nights sleep opening the window to hear the early morning birds. I had a great shower in the morning. I ate at the Queen's Head in the evening 5 mins away in a car which was very acceptable. I made a great way to end a incredibly successful weekend. I would go back tomorrow.

Lovely home with everything you could possibly need. Very child friendly and you’ll feel right at home.

We had a wonderful new years stay in this property . Herve’s place was extremely clean, cosy and very well stocked with everything you might need. The location was perfect for walks, pubs and restaurants and in a lovey quiet cul de sac. Herve was easy to contact and very responsive and pro active. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place.

This was ideal for us with the dog with us. A short 15 min walk into southwold either by road or the very convenient footpath opposite. ( Lovely Walk) it is great value for southwold and plenty enough space for two. We would definitely book again.
