Sheila’s home was incredible, if you’re looking to get away from the busy hustle of everyday life, book a stay here and make sure to stop at a grocery store. Only a couple hours from the Gatlinburg, an hour or so from cookeville, makes this a great spot for day outings. This was everything that we wanted! Sheila and Darryl were the nicest people, with lots of information, shortcuts, and jokes to be had. We’re already planning our next trip back down so that we can bring our pups!

Beautiful peaceful cabin that’s very well stocked with everything that you’re going to need for a stay. Our family loved sitting by the fire pit visiting with each other . We plan on staying again in the future.

This was my second time staying here as it is so convenient to the trails in the area. Great spot for exploring and I love spending time in the rocking chairs on the front porch.

Scoot was very friendy and helpful. Really enjoy chatting with him on various subjects while we hung out some. Beautiful place to relax and just unplug. Looking forward to returning more than once in the future. Best wishes for Scott.

Our group was celebrating a 70th birthday. We always love to stay in borrowed homes. Sandra’s place was the most spotless we have ever visited! Everything in its place and a place for everything! The outdoor space was like a dream! If you love flora and fauna, and peace and tranquility, book now! The beds were so comfy and you will find everything you need there! Check out the small local towns and just unwind! We talked to her twice and we assured her we will be back soon!

One of the more unique AirBnBs I have ever stayed in—both the actual treehouse and its surrounding grounds that are adjacent to a historic, approximately 100 year old, general store + restaurant. I stayed for one night as a jumping off point for exploring the Tennessee side of Big South Fork and for that, it was perfectly located and very affordable. It is also abundantly clear that the owner, Tiffany, is passionate about maintaining and caring for the sense of place that one can feel and see while on the property. I hope to return sometime for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s cabin! It was the perfect escape from our busy life. My boys loved every minute of the river, and caught a ton of fish. Jennifer was so helpful, and sent lists of recommendations for restaurants, hikes, etc. We hope to come back in the summer months to enjoy some tubing in the river.

Really unique house in a nice secluded area, close to great hiking trails. The common area is great - very open and nicely decorated. Loved the wrap around porch. I would not choose to stay here again with my relatives in their 70’s due to the steep, narrow, winding staircases and lack of easy access to bathrooms. It was clear in the description that all guests must be able to climb stairs, but the stairs were trickier than expected and I worried a lot about them the whole trip. The bedroom with the best access to a bathroom had a very, very small bed so not the most comfortable. Also could have been stocked slightly better - the soap dispensers both ran out and compared to other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at, there were fewer cleaning supplies, toiletries, toilet paper, and pantry staples like oil available. Overall we had a nice time. If you’re looking for a place for younger or more active folks to have easy access to outdoor activities, it’s perfect.
