We had a great experience with Sam and the overall stay. I had some last-minute changes to our booking, and Sam was incredibly accommodating and proactive in helping us adjust our plans smoothly—his communication was quick, clear, and friendly throughout. The space is exactly as described in the listing: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s a cozy basement apartment. All the features—from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy bed and living area—felt very intentional and well-maintained. Many little touches made the stay even better, like clear instructions, fast WiFi, and plenty of towels and toiletries. The location worked well for our trip. I'd recommend this spot to others looking for a quiet, functional place with a responsive and considerate host. Thanks again, Sam!

What inspired me to book this tiny cabin again was how peaceful the space feels. We’d benefited from treatments and classes with Ellen during a previous stay and I was excited to get to book with her this time and was not disappointed. Thank you Ellen, for your heart centred approach to hosting. It was great for me to be able to relax in your tiny cabin.

This was an extraordinary long weekend. We could have been 100 miles into the woods, and it was literally 5 MIN from KW. I felt transported, we had a magical time with wonderful "neighbours" who waved and WILD TURKEYS walking by! Both homey and woodsy, at the same time, modern with a fresh bathroom, doors, and window blinds. Everything was in great working order, and while there was no clutter, there was literally everything you needed or wanted right at hand. You didn't even have to think about where something was; it was just in the first spot you looked. The accessible handle in the bathroom and the shower seat were extra welcome! Having a washer, dryer, AND dishwasher is amazing, but the place didn't feel so modern that the cabin quality was taken away. The semi-hidden TV was brilliant. Easy to watch movies, but you could ignore them and turn off electronics too. Well done for that carefully thought-out balance! HOT TUB WAS PEAK my child says. Will be back again!

Me and my man came here for Valentine’s Day’s and had a really nice time. The hot tub was a nice experience. The place was nice, clean and organized. Holly even got us a valentines card and chocolates which was so nice. Will definitely book again when it’s hot outside.

Lovely house that's clean and very comfortable. We will happily be coming to stay here next time we are in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Lee Anne’s place. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The rooms were so comfortable! The beds were dressed with beautiful quality pillows and linens. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes you will need to entertain a dozen people. The fireplace is positively magnificent and there was plenty of dry wood just outside the door to enjoy it. The grounds are meticulously well kept and Lee Anne’s husband Tom was a pleasure to chat with. This property in the fall is stunning but I can’t imagine any season that would not be amazing here. All in all it was an incredible week in this beautiful home and we would not hesitate to rent it again. Thank you so very much Lee Anne!

Sie ist sehr individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail, sowie den schönen Bildern des Künstlerpaares eingerichtet. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt. We stayed at Kathryn and Gus’s place for a month and really loved it. It’s an entire house surrounded by nature. The property overlooks a small lake near a hiking trail. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kathryn and Gus were great hosts. They were friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. We enjoyed relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the fireplace. We would love to come back again!

We were a group of 5 health care professionals together for a workshop. The house was spectacular for our needs. Comfortable, clean, and everything we needed. Highly recommend!!!

This cozy Airbnb had everything I needed for my short stay in Hamilton – close to friends, shopping, and fun activities. The space itself was beautiful and well cared for. I loved the quiet atmosphere, it was the perfect place to rest, reflect, write, and unwind after my busy days seeing friends in town. The neighbourhood was beautiful and walkable too ! Highly recommended.

Stephanie has an awesome place! Great communication. Walkable to central Waterdown where there is numerous restaurants and farmer's market. Central to cover Niagara Falls, downtown Toronto, and many of the great local pick your own farms.

Nick's space was great! My husband and his groomsmen used his place for the night before and getting ready for the big day. Nick went above and beyond in providing information and contacts to help make our day extra special. He was extremely easy to contact and responded immediately to any questions. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had stayed at another cabin on the property before and we loved it. Mark, Melanie and the entire staff were helpful, friendly, and wonderful! We will always visit them at Willowlake in one form or another. The cottage was so clean upon arrival which was impressive! The only possible downsides would be the dumpsters being right next to the cottage (however smells weren’t an issue while we were there, your patio is on the other side of the cottage) and the staff trailer door was really close to our fire pit so it didn’t feel private or secluded (but the staff were great so that didn’t bother us). The one downside that was a pickle for us was the side door entry. Immediately upon entering the cottage there are stairs going down to the kitchen. We have a four year old so those stairs were a concern but within two days we were used to them and managed to finagle entry better. Overall it was a great experience and they will see us back at Willowlake next summer!

This place was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could possibly need and want. We enjoyed everything- the qames, pool table and darts. We wish we hadn't planned so much so we could make better use of everything. Thomas was very responsive and went out of his way to help when there was something we couldn't figure out. We loved being there and will definitely look to return if we return to Toronto

What a gorgeous place to get away from the city for a few days. The comfortable studio has everything you'd need during your stay. The fields are great for walking (especially if you have a dog), and there are all kinds of magnificent hiking trails nearby. My arrival coincided with a massive ice storm and Vince and Miranda were in touch every step of the way, keeping me updated on conditions and options. They were a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning next time I need a taste of the country.
