Had a lovely stay. Choose as just outside St Andrews about 2 miles to the centre. It gave us easy access to St Andrews golf courses and with short drives to numerous beautiful coastal villages Crail , Pitweven and fantastic beaches along the Fife coastal road for the dog , Kingsbarns, lower Largo and Elie. The accommodation was very clean , well equipped for self catering with a really comfy bed and perfect for our trip.

The room was tidy and furnished with antiques. A very tastefully Victorian house with all modern facilities. We had only time for one night, it would be a place for a longer stay. The house is central to the Downtown of Dumfernline and a good place for visiting Edinburgh. The Host Michael is very friendly and had a lot of tips for visiting the town. Perfect!

Brilliant host who pays attention to detail, friendly & always willing to help if required. The wee glasshouse is spotless & has everything for a great relaxing stay close to the city. Highly recommend this property & host. Stunning views, relaxing private quiet location made a perfect stay. This truly is a 5 star rating staying in a lovely luxurious holiday home.

Derek and Maretta were lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating ... Marretta's home made lemon drizzle cake was a lovely touch.

Highly recommend for St Andrews parents. McIntosh Hall is just up the street, steps to the main shopping streets. Ilya is a fantastic host - very responsive, helpful, and checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. The cottage has everything you'll need - topnotch appliances, cookware, even a Dyson hairdryer and air conditioning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ilya!

Lovely host, nothing is too much bother.

I had an extremely peaceful 2 weeks spent in The Hayloft. Paddy, Katie and family were so friendly and welcoming. They left some lovely vegan food for me which was so thoughtful and were always on hand to help with any questions. It’s a great place if you love nature and animals, which I do, so was the perfect stay for me.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and will book again. Hoping that speaks for itself. I always feel right at home at Claire’s place. She is very thoughtful with the little touches she adds. Always responsive to messages and bookings.
