Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Cottage has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and everything you need is provided. Bed is super comfortable and shower and huge tub are great. It is so peaceful. There was something very special about sitting in the hot tub after a busy day walking watching the sun set and the hares play in the field. All you will hear while you stay is birdsong.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage stands out as it is well thought out with everything you need. Lots of games and toys for the young ones. A gorgeous log burner too. Shops and pubs close by. Within a 5 minute drive of the very lovely Saltburn and only slightly further to Staithes and Runswick Bay. Parking right outside the door.

Great few days in this lovely little cottage . Within walking distance of our favourite restaurant (a bit in the dear side but great food ) we walked to the beach around a mile or so from the cottage. John was always quick to respond to any messages via air B&B and also let us know we could get in a little earlier than originally stated. Slight down side can be a little noisy from the road through the village but to be expected due to its position. It didn’t really give us any issues. Full of modern appliances and a modern kitchen. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for another excellent stay. This time we got to benefit from the coastal walks and open space straight out the back gate. Julie was a great help when my lad accidentally set off the house alarm. Within 15 minutes the alarm stopped and our day was saved as we had tickets booked! Brilliant hosting and was attentive that all our expectations were met through the break. Highly recommended and will come again if Julie will have us 🙂

We had a lovely stay in Alex's gorgeous cottage! Such a great location to walk to the centre of town, as well as feeling very cosy and homely. We'll definitely stay again!

We had a very comfortable night in the cottage. It was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed to cook an evening meal. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer, but we were taking part in a local marathon so had to leave early. We had a lovely late afternoon wander into Guisborough before checking in and there were plenty of nice shops and cafes a short stroll from the cottage. We'd happily stay here again if visiting the area.

Wow, what a great place Olivia has. It's so central, has parking, huge living space and everything you need for a getaway in a gorgeous town. The house was cosy but also had loads of space, the beds were comfy and everything was clean. There's plenty of stuff for young ones too, including high chair, travel cot and cutlery etc. Couldn't have wished for a better stay.

Where do I start! Absolutely fabulous place, a right gem! We were expecting good things from pictures/reviews prior to booking, but totally exceeded our expectations. Beautiful spotlessly clean, cosy, spacious comfortable house, in a beautiful, peaceful place. Luxury beds/furniture. Views stunning. Garden area gorgeous, especially lit up on a evening, very private, hot tub amazing! Barry is a perfect host, very attentive, on hand and thoughtful. Highly recommend this place to all, perfect for our much needed 2 night break. Re charged and relaxed. We will return. Sam, Tony & Cassie & Gem x

A lovely place with a lot of room, exactly as described in the listing! Everything was clean and the host was very communicative, ensuring that we had checked in ok. Great place for our stay as we were working in the local area.

We had a lovely weekend break at Marks place. There were 4 adults, 3 teenagers & one dog & the flat was big enough to accommodate us all. We found it comfortable, clean & well equipped with all you would need for a short break or longer. It was in a great position near Peasholm Park/North Bay & within walking distance of the town centre. There was also plenty of parking availability right outside & permits were provided. Mark was also a great host - very responsive & friendly. We would definitely return to stay again!

The accommodation was excellent with the private parking space a great bonus. It was easy to find from the instructions Paul and Rachel sent.

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

Lovely apartment; exactly as pictured and described. Nice location. Hidden from main streets but very convenient to beaches and other areas. Perfect for a weekend getaway

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and quite. Enjoyed staying in a different area of York and there were lots of cafes, pubs and independent shops to stop and browse while walking into town.

Ideally located within easy walking distance of the Minster and other points of interest in York. Plenty of on-street parking, as well as a dedicated car park for small vehicles. Well thought out amenities and presentation.
