Finland State Forest : locations de vacances

We stayed at Amy's in Two Harbors while we were up to do some birding, hiking, and exploring. Amy's place was a great location to be able to get to all the local spots from, and well within a reasonable drive to Duluth, without staying in the city!

What an incredible weekend!! Bill was so very welcoming and his is place was amazing!! We enjoyed many libations and were even able to fancy a pontoon ride on beautiful lake. A picturesque setting in the woods with spectacular views and one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to town and the waterfront. The beds are super comfortable. They even had a rollaway cot in the bedroom, which worked perfectly as my son joined last minute. The only thing I'd say was even remotely negative, was there were no paper towels, coffee, or a dish sponge. If those are things you use, I recommend brining them with you. The toilet is a tight fit, so if you are a larger human or are claustrophobic at all, this would not be the proper fit. All in all we had a great stay, and would stay here again when we visit Two Harbors :)

We spent two nights in this cabin and never wanted to leave! What a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior and the rocky coast of Minnesota. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. This place is perfectly laid out for a family and friends group. We can't wait to return.

Our stay at Sandy’s lovely cabin on Lake Superior was an impromptu get away with our daughter while on her college spring break. It was the perfect place to stay, close to so many things to do in the area, and also just enjoying the cracking fireplace (thanks Tim for delivery of extra firewood) and indoor sauna, not to mention just spending time together exploring the rocky shoreline and family puzzle time (that would never happen at home). We were able to use the kitchen and enjoy a big breakfast at the cabin, but also enjoyed visiting local places, and would recommend Vanilla Bean Restaurant and Northshore Pizza. We were fortunate to pick this weekend, and watched the impressive racers and their teams at the Beargrease Sled Dog Race that started in Two Harbors this year. We also enjoyed hiking Gooseberry Falls State Park. Thanks again to Sandy for her quick reply and her help fixing my reservation error, when I realized I made it for 1 night instead 2. Would love to return sometime!

Enjoyed a stay with 3 couples. The property feels peaceful and secluded but is very close to town. It is bright, clean, and comfortable. The view of the lake is stunning.

Paul was great. Super friendly. Our kids enjoyed the wooded area, roasting marshmallows on the fire, playing Uno on the deck while listening to music. No TV and WiFi was perfect to disconnect and enjoy hiking and the sandy beaches! Thanks for the great experience.

We had the best stay at Deb’s home. You can see Lutsen ski hill and Lake Superior from the deck. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen is fully stocked which was helpful to make meals for a large group of people. If you get bored, she has TONS of games in the closet. The host was very responsive and let us have an early check in. High recommend this stay.
