Mia’s place is a gem! We were so glad to stay here, near the amenities of Akaslompolo but much quieter and also free of light pollution. Being able to get on the cross country ski tracks from our door was amazing… particularly because these tracks are virtually empty, like you have them to yourself. And, the kota (traditional hut) is really special… stocked with firewood so that you can use it when you want, anytime. We saw the northern lights 3 out of 4 nights!!!!! And we loved the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Once you figure out how Finnish saunas work by using Mia’s instructions in her book… it heats up really nicely in 30 minutes OR you can set a timer for when you are going to arrive back. We loved it here!

Tero’s apartment is ideally situated for everything Helsinki has to offer. It is exactly as described and we felt very comfortable there. Tero was quick to respond to messages which was very reassuring given we did not know Helsinki at all and a cancelled flight meant we arrived much later than originally intended. My only advice is to read the instructions on how to get into the apartment fully. It is well explained and very simple but not if you only skim through them as I did. None -the -less Tero quickly provided the information needed to get in, even though it was gone 10pm. We are planning a return trip and will definitely choose this apartment again.

Esa war ein toller Gastgeber, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Esa war immer erreichbar, super freundlich und hilfreich. Der Check-In war super einfach und die Lage ist unschlagbar, 5 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum, ca 15 Minuten bis zum Hafen. Gerne wieder. Kiitos und Grüße Sarah & Kevin

Todella hieno kohde majoittua. Siisti, uusi ja lähellä kaikkea. 7 min juna-asemalta kävellen, keskusta ja yliopistot kävelymatkan päässä. Sauna on aina luksusta. Sisäänkirjautuminen sujui helposti ja joustavasti. Suosittelen kohdetta lämpimästi!

This is an absolutely exceptional place to stay in Helsinki. Having stayed at many Airbnbs in Helsinki and around the world, I can confidently say this place is a true gem. It excels in every aspect—its prime location offers easy access to restaurants, 24-hour shops, and excellent food. The value for money is incredible. The space is extremely clean and well-equipped with everything you need, including a comfortable bed, a great shower, a fully stocked kitchen, a fridge, and a washing machine. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the location couldn’t be better. What truly sets this place apart is the host Matteo—absolutely amazing! You feel like you’re being treated to a five-star experience, yet with the warmth and personal touch that even a five-star hotel can’t always provide. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Helsinki.

Majoituimme kaksi yötä kohteessa pienen lapsen kanssa ja kaikki sujui mutkattomasti. Asunnon kuvat ja kuvaus vastasivat hyvin todellisuutta. Asunnon sijainti oli loistava ja voisin kuvitella majoittuvani uudelleen samassa kohteessa. Asunto oli hyvin siisti ja käytännöllinen, majoittajan viestintä oli nopeaa ja ystävällistä. Sänky oli todella miellyttävä nukkua ja makuuhuoneessa oli sopivasti tilaa myös matkasängylle, jossa yksivuotiaamme sai makoisat unet. Suosittelen lämpimästi😊

Nice Stay! Location is good. 5 mins walk to bus stations and 7 mins walk to two supermarkets nearby. 3 mins walk with a beautiful lake nearby. I really like that they have a laundry washing machine included in the stay, very ideal for long stay and travelers. Also, they have a balcony with beautiful views outside. The interior design of the stay is good and relaxing too. Overall, everything is nice 😊. Highly recommend the stay!

This place is amazing, it is with close proximity to everything you need and the view from there is stunning while it is snowing ! Lari has been really responsive to our needs, thanks !

We had a great stay at Minna’s place. It was a home away from home and Minna was a great host. She was extremely helpful and responsive which was great for us. If we return, we’d definitely enjoy a visit back here. Peaceful area and not far away from the city centre and the activity areas.

Keskeinen,hieno sijainti, kaikki tarpeellinen ja jopa jotain ekstraakin löytyi. Parvekkeelta loistavat näkymät. Parkkipaikkaa jouduimme hiukan hakemaan luultavasti oopperan vuoksi. Tulemme luultavasti toisenkin kerran.

We only stayed a short time to break up a long drive. After a hiccup with airbnb sending me the wrong lockbox code it was resolved quickly and everything else was great. The place was very clean and the 2 bedrooms worked great. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area

A nosotros nos ha encantado, hemos estado muy a gusto, hemos podido dormir tranquilamente. Cocinar, descansar. la parada del bus está cerca para ir hacia el centro. Supermercado cerca. Incluso sitios con oscuridad para ver Auroras. Sinceramente es un lugar muy recomendable y lo que se refiere a los anfitriones, una maravilla, todo súper claro, súper concreto. Nosotros no sabemos cuándo pero vamos a volver.

Tolle Lage, Hauptbahnhof ist auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet besonders die Küche. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Lovely apartment in walking distance of all that Helsinki has to offer. Good public transport links. Apartment was v clean, light and had everything we needed for our short break. Pauliina was very responsive and flexible with the check in time. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great stay in the apartment and the check-in process was seamless. The apartment was additionally better equipped than I originally thought, which was a positive surprise.
