Mark and Alisa were amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We broke down a few minutes away and Mark was quick to aid us by fetching my family and luggage while I waited for the tow truck. I have to give a huge shout for this act of kindness. Thank you once again. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back God willing.

Shell Shack became our home for a month and it could not have been better. The space was really comfortable, with plenty of space and stylish decor. We particularly appreciated being able to have Pablo, our Labrador, with us too as there was a lovely enclosed back garden under the trees and plenty of easy walks along quiet roads and paths to the beach. Michelle was a great host and we really enjoyed spending time chatting with her. We would happily return to Shell Shack if we had the opportunity.

Wundervolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in dieser AirBnB-Unterkunft in Hout Bay! Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – ruhig, idyllisch und nur einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt. Jeden Morgen aufzuwachen und die Meeresluft zu genießen, war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders der großzügige Außenbereich hat uns begeistert, perfekt, um bei einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren herzlich und hilfsbereit. Hout Bay selbst ist wunderschön – ein malerisches Küstendorf mit viel Charme und tollen Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen oder einen entspannten Strandtag. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Ein echtes Juwel!

Katie has been very friendly and responsive, from the beginning till the end. So nice to experience since it was my very first visit in Cape Town. The apartment is on the 7th floor with a gorgeous view. On the hottest moments of the day we'd close the curtains which helped significantly. Despite the warm summers we could sleep easily during the nights. There are lot's of restaurant's on walking distant. The neighborhood felt very safe. Even more so the apartment, with nice people living in the block. Long story short, I recommend the apartment and Katie as a host as well. For my future visit to Cape Town I can say I'll reach out to Katie first, for sure.

All I can say is that what you see in the pictures is what you get. Perfection. Seems brand new. The views are out of this world. The steps are worth it! We cannot believe how gorgeous this place is. Pure heaven.

The residence is as good as is described on Air BnB. It is the perfect place for a family/friend group. The beaches are in easy walking distance and are lovely. Shopping Centres are nearby and have everything you need. Highly recommended.

This is a brilliant place to stay to enjoy Hout Bay. The location is amazing as it’s a stone’s throw from the beach which is beautiful and not ‘touristy’. The coffee shop Sentinel (on the left as you arrive on the beach) is lovely and we enjoyed walking there every morning to swim and have a coffee like the friendly locals do! Many of the popular restaurants and also the supermarkets are very close by too. The property itself is spacious, clean, and light. It feels secure (including secure parking). There is a lovely outdoor area with brai. We were very happy with our stay, thank you Samantha!

We had a fabulous time at Deborah’s house, Seaviews. The house is stunning and all the furniture and linens are to a high standard and as per the photos. There were extra safety measures which we really appreciated as we were travelling with our young baby. Deborah also provided a travel cot, high chair and some baby feeding items too which was a nice touch. But the highlight of our stay has to be the views and outdoor space. The whole house is lit up by the amazing sunrise and even at night the moon appears from behind the mountains and beams into the house. We had a wonderful stay and Deborah was a brilliant host. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Bernie’s place :) great location , great amenities and the rooftop was the real highlight! She was a lovely and communicative host and even made extra accommodations for our baby which was super kind of her. We would be delighted to stay again!

An absolutely gorgeous house right on the beach. Everything was perfect - the sound of the waves crashing at night, the warm swimming pool and comfy beds, and last but not least the gorgeous views. Would highly recommend; Allen was a great host and we were looked after very well by Amos every day too.

Shirley was great from booking until the end of our stay. Always responsive and helpful. The house has an amazing location and was spotless. The team helping to clean are also very friendly and make the stay even easier Couldn’t recommend staying here more

We had the most fantastic time at Villa on the Bay. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids aged between 2 and 8. The house was perfection for us and we had the ideal mix of relaxing and exploring Cape Town. The house has three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs and a nice wide staircase between the two floors that is easy for small kids to navigate. Location is close enough to pop to shops and eateries in a few minutes on foot but just far away enough to be in a quiet street. We took Ubers everywhere and never had to wait more than a few minutes. The pool is solar heated so our kids spent hours playing without getting the shivers. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need incl a coffee machine and ice maker. I could go on about small details but my point is that the house is amazing and we would definitely come back. Camps bay is so stunning!

Our stay at Mary-Louise’s villa was incredible! The location on Glen Beach is unbeatable, with breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of waves. The villa was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Mary-Louise was a fantastic host—helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to return!

Located within close proximity to 2 beaches. Beautiful location. The house is spacious and well furnished. There is nothing that to complain about. I give it 5 stars.

Wir verbrachten unvergesslich schöne Tage in diesem charmanten Strandhaus am Meer. Die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll und funktionell. Es fehlte an nichts, um für mehrere Personen zu kochen. Innen und außen war Platz für eine große Familie. Die Betten waren bequem, es war ruhig und entspannt in der Nacht, ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich zu erholen und die Tage an einem traumhaften Strand zu verbringen. Die Sonnenuntergänge waren ein Highlight. Mit dem Uber kann man sich bequem zu jeder Zeit abholen und bringen lassen, auch zu einem sehr großen Supermarkt, der nahe bei, aber nicht fußläufig ist. Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100% und kommen selbst gern wieder.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in TJ's pristine and quirky house. Everything was clean, comfortable and inviting. The beautiful beach is within walking distance and the greater Kommetjie area is worth exploring.

Melody not Charmaine was a perfect host during our stay. Location perfect and just a stepstone away fm the beach. Large salted swimmingpool. Nice bed/bathrooms, flexible housekeeping. Cutlery shld be upgraded for 8 guest and knives shld be sharpened but other than that all perfect. Only thing missing was a TV but we compensated this with the Rummy Cup game available.

Mangata was the perfect home for our family! Our family wanted a place where we could explore on foot with the kids—and this spot was ideal. We could easily walk with the stroller to Woolworths, coffee shops, restaurants, and Camps Bay Beach and a playground! Venessa & Lisa were so thoughtful, providing a brand new cot/playpen & new linens for our baby! And they left a lovely welcome basket and stocked the fridge with drinks including milk for our baby. It was such a kind gesture that helped us immensely after a day of traveling to Cape Town. The house itself is peaceful, beautifully designed, and has the most amazing ocean and sunset views from the terrace and master bedroom. The beds and the linens are so comfy and top notch! Our family had a wonderful time and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient and luxury getaway! The Liesel Farm team is exceptional. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s impossible to speak highly enough of this place and the service we received. Angie and Martha were an absolute pleasure throughout and made our stay a truly unforgettable one - even providing a bottle of champagne for our engagement which happened a few days prior to arriving! Such a personable and special touch. The property itself is in the perfect location on Camps Bay, is incredibly clean and the interior decor is amazing. Additionally, the outside area and views are something which is almost impossible to match. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return.
