We will definitely be coming back. It's an amazing escape with beautiful surroundings. The amenities were perfectly curated with even some food items in the refrigerator ready for you when you arrive. I do want to pass on a helpful hint - the road to the home is very curvy and the small road that leads to the entrance of the home is off of the main road and is not obvious if you are not ready and looking for it. You can stay here with confidence knowing that you will have a wonderful experience.

Needed a place for a few days… and fell in LOVE with this hidden gem!!! Amazing hosts- Lori& Mike are the best! They are friendly , helpful and inviting- while simultaneously giving privacy and space. Not to mention all of the amazing work they are doing in and for the community- check out their bio!! The accommodations were beautiful, peaceful and intentional. And CLEAN!! Every space well curated. Home felt like a hug- and was filled with treasures! Looking forward to a return trip!! Laura and Darren were fantastic hosts. The place is absolutely panoramic, peaceful, and packed with great amenities. My fiancé and I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and felt amazing the next day. Highly recommend — you’ll be glad you chose this place! We’d definitely consider coming back

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

I rented Polina’s place for my daughter and toddler grandson during their visit to the area because my husband and I did not have room for them to stay with us. It was an excellent choice - a lovely well maintained unit on the grounds of Polina and her family’s home in the hills above Walnut Creek. Very peaceful area, yet close to downtown and transportation options. Polina was so kind and helpful, the unit has everything one would need for a short stay in the area. Highly recommended and a good value for the area.

Where to begin... This little jewel was a breathtaking retreat that I hold dear to my heart! It’s definitely in my top 5 best short stay rentals. The host has tremendous respect for her guests' privacy. Getting there can be tricky, as there’s very little space for two vehicles on the steep hill, but the adrenaline rush is absolutely worth it! Beautiful deer greet you at the entrance, which was such a special sight. This is a place I will definitely return to in the coming years. Nestled on a hill and behind a gate, The Casita is a world away from the ordinary. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches and many amenities to ensure the comfort of each guest. We enjoyed being able to park and unload our gear right at the door - no steps. The kitchen has the essentials and more, all tidy and easy to find. The informative binder with local tourism bits, safety information, etc. was especially well put together. Bedding was clean and fresh, towels thirsty and large. We did use the washer-dryer, which was great since we had been on the road and needed it. We especially treasured being able to watch the twinkling city lights from the patio perch. When it was time to go, we definitely sighed with reluctance. It was not easy to leave such a lovely place with such a kindly and proactive host offering the most peaceful and pleasant of stays.

Stevens communication and positive vibe from the start was appreciated and made everything even better. His home is beautiful and beyond what I imagined. You feel at home as soon as you see the house and once inside you have to just stand there and take it all in. My whole family was so impressed and we trully enjoyed ourselves. The house has everything you need. Just beautifully kept. I'm def coming back so I can just lay around and swim all day . Thank you again for being a amazing host! Btw there is only one tv in the house , its in the living room..but we didnt need nor use it at all Thats how much everyone enjoyed the home.
