Amazing stay, host was more than helpful when speaking with him.

Very nice and isolated cabin in the birch woods. The outdoor firepit gave the kids a ton of fun. They spent the evening lighting up fires and chopping woods. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with a couch downstairs for 7 people. The indoor fire furnace was easy to light up, but hard to control the tempreture. It was too hot for a few hours then a bit cold in the early morning. The kitchen/bath/dining areas are all nice. My family rated this cabin the best of the 4 airbnbs for this trip. Suggestion for future tenants: bring bug spray if the kids want to spend the evening out door with the firepit.

We loved this lakehouse! It had a fabulous view of the lake, mountains, and the hot tub was glorious. The wood stove was such a nice touch to the living space and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and hanging out. Host had great instructions and was very responsive. We will definitely be booking again!

We had the best time at this beautiful house. It was nestled in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We were visiting for a ski race- the heated garage was super helpful to hold all of our skis and gear. The kids loved having their own space within the home, with a fenced in yard and play set! Melinda was a stellar host, we would absolutely love to come back and stay again.

Nice cozy place with a fireplace and open kitchen, plenty of sleeping spaces. Easy communication with the host. If we need to stay in this area again, we'll definitely check for Whitney's place!

Where to begin?? This was absolutely our favorite place to stay during our whole 3 week trip to Alaska (we stayed 9 days). The house was beautifully decorated and clean. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. The hosts were very responsive to any issues we had (clogged drain, fixed within 12 hours) and provided lots of fun recommendations for local things to do. Which we did not do, because we were having too much fun in the hot tub. They went above and beyond with all the amenities and small touches — spices, utensils, books, coffee, toiletries. It felt like a home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we plan to come back soon!

Cabin was easy to get to. It is far away from everything, but the directions were spot on. Cabin was clean and Big Lake is gorgeous at New Years.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is very comfortable, clean, and more spacious than we expected. It is stocked with a lot of extras including fresh farm eggs. Barbara was there to greet us and show us around. She is very friendly and responsive to messages. The property is beautiful and well maintained. If you need a place to stay in the Palmer area, I recommend Lazy Mountain Acres #2.
