We traveled from Canada and spent a month at Tina and Chads place. Everything was as described. Lots of room for a large group and very comfortable beds. We heated the pool and it was wonderful. We used it everyday. The hot tub was a welcome addition especially after the long drive to arrive. The beach is just a short distance to walk to and very quiet. It was nice to have a beach away from the crowds in Daytona. We had it all to ourselves often. We used the boogie boards and chairs provided and had a blast with the boards in the waves. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable. There is a local pub - Lagerheads that has nightly live music just a short walk from the house. We visited a few times. My husband fished the Halifax river often and this is also just a short few blocks to the fishing dock. Tina was just a message away and both her and Chad were excellent hosts. We would recommend this spot and Tina and Chad to anyone. Thank you!!

Awesome location to pool and ocean. Spacious house. My only issue was I wasn’t smart enough to work the smart microwave 😂. Thoroughly enjoyed the patios and the pool.

Definitely worth the experience. Very pretty surroundings. Gorgeous home, everything was perfect. The bathrooms and stand alone tub were my wife’s favorite. The pool experience would have been amazing if I had got it heated. It was too cold to swim. Had I known I would have sign up for it. Only thing was missing was a tv in the spare room. However the lack of TVs put our family closer together

Great house, very accommodating and proactive. Would 100% recommend. The view and location was unbeatable for a quiet beach vacation.

This place is beautiful 😍 thirty minutes to saint Augustine. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Large kitchen, lots of parking, plenty of beds. Fast wifi and area is super spacious.

Our stay at First Coast Escape was absolutely perfect! The hosts, Brian and Terra, did a phenomenal job. The home was pristine clean and had all the thoughtful amenities available. Cooking dinner each night was a breeze. The home is close to town - 10 minutes or less to Publix, Aldi, or WalMart and only 5 minutes to i95 access. The home is very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of four. It was nice relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of site seeing. We even got to see a wild rabbit hop into the yard one evening while we were in the hot tub! All of the little touches really set First Coast Escape above the rest. From the welcome gift, to the extra towels, to the beach chairs and toys available to use, right down to the bug spray on the patio - Terra and Brian have thought of it all!

Gorgeous! We felt at home, loving how clean and well decorated everything was. We spent 95% of our time here - enjoying the heated pool/loungers/fire pit and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Ben was great at communicating. The private beach access was nice but challenging, the bottom three steps were missing. We would definitely recommend and we plan to return.

Erin is one of the best hosts we’ve had. VERY responsive to messages. She even messaged to let us know about a riptide warning. There were plenty of towels and linens, well stocked kitchen and items needed for beach. Multiple deck areas to enjoy the outside. Cozy with plenty of space. DEFINITELY recommend! Thank you Erin!

This place was so wonderful, the beach views and amount of space were perfect! It was just right for my family of 4. We will definitely book again when we go to Ormond Beach!

The Halifax Hideaway is an amazing place to stay. Super clean, very easy to find, nicely appointed. Dawn is gracious and Kind and cares about her guests and that in itself is worth the price to stay.

According to our toddler just now, "Elizabeth's house was really nice. It was lots of fun. Miss Elizabeth is very kind." And we do agree! We had a wonderful time staying at her Ormond Beach place. It's extremely clean, perfectly situated and definitely had everything (and more!) than one could need. We're looking forward to visiting again!
