Aretha and Joe make a big effort to engage with the guests to ensure they have everything they need (and more). Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They were flexible with our accommodation arrangements and added many personal touches to make my birthday weekend special.

We found Marie's cottage/unit perfect for the 2 nights that we spent there. it was very clean, compact and well appointed. Our little dog was very welcome also. The property is also situated close to the CBD and well positioned for everything Toowoomba has to offer. in our case, it was a haven to put our feet up during a house move. Marks cabin is a great private getaway from the busyness of the city. Absolutely beautiful location with amazing sunsets! The cows are friendly and help set the scene.

This house exceeded our expectations from cleanliness to comfortability. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful country side stay and only an hour away from Brisbane. The host was very prompt and made our stay hassle free during a stressful time for our family. The house is equipped with everything you need so it’s absolutely a 5 star from us. We will be back!

My wife & I recently spent 6 nights in this glorious retreat whilst visiting relatives nearby. Fiona’s place is literally a home away from home, and has everything you will ever need for a comfortable stay. A small but well equipped kitchen, a good sized lounge & workplace, a bright and spacious bedroom with comfortable beds, a great bathroom/shower and a lovely tranquil outdoor space with fantastic views over the valley. Plus a gorgeous, but slightly apprehensive dog that often greeted us in the mornings. But what we loved most about the retreat was the attention to detail and all the thoughtful little extras such as the huge bowl of fresh fruit and mixed nuts that greeted us on our arrival, and all the basic amenities we would need for a comfortable night without having to go near a shop - bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee , frozen food, not to mention all of the bathroom products, gels, lotions, hand creams etc. Fiona is also an awesome individual. We will be back one day for sure!

We had such wonderful holiday! The house was so spacious and beautiful with brilliant views of the glasshouse mountains . It was quite a nice experience using the firewood hot tub. Sunrise and sunset was spectacular . We also enjoyed feeding the two gorgeous horses . Overall was a fantastic and relaxing holiday! Highly recommend!

This cute little house is serviceable with full amenities and a lovely deck to relax on out the back. It's no frills but the beds were comfy, the linen was fresh and clean and our host was very responsive and friendly. It covers all base needs and we had nothing to complain about at all. Really dog friendly with a secure yard and the removable gate for the deck was a handy addition! Close walk to the main street where there are shops and a market on the Saturday morning. The cemetery across the road makes for a really interesting afternoon stroll and the shops at the bottom of the street have some fun shopping. The air conditioners worked well on a very hot day and ample towels were provided. The bathroom is quite old and didn't feel as fresh as it could but still provided our basic needs and the water is steady and warm. An all round lovely stay, thankyou!
