We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

Great stay at Victoria cottage , house was very clean , cosy and well equipped. Bedrooms very warm and very comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Fantastic location in a lovely village and not far to visit Scarborough and Whitby .Ian always responded immediately with any queries .All in all a great half term break and would definitely recommend

I ended up doing a solo trip with the dogs and I felt very safe and comfortable on my own. The cottage was clean and cosy. The large Porch is a great design to have an area for drying off coats / boots and with the hot tub. Love the field walks, it’s so nice to be able to have somewhere just a short walk from the accommodations where dogs can be let off lead. Very satisfied with this stay, would recommend to friends and family and I would definitely like to visit again one day. Thank you for a pleasant stay x

A lovely lodge in a beautiful and peaceful site. The lodge was well kept and comfortable - we felt right at home straight away. Only regret is not staying longer!

We had a fantastic stay. The house was perfect for our stay, was superbly equipped and provided the ideal location and environment for us. We were a large party, but the house supported all ages, from a four year old upwards. Do not hesitate to book, you will love it!

The photos don’t do it justice. The place was beautifully decorated, lovely furnishings and really homely. The location was great for getting to the sea plus all of the shops & restaurants in town. Pleasant views and can see the sea. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the little extras Angela left us. The place was heated really well and we felt lovely and warm for the duration of our stay.

A wonderful cottage of the highest standard. The welcome groceries were very much appreciated and saved a dash to the local shop for milk etc. We enjoyed sunny afternoons sitting out in the pretty garden. Tucked away location but with plenty to do on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you.

An ideally-situated bolt-hole, close to the coast; spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Tracey’s communication was excellent and everything was exactly as shown and described. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay , Louise was welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. Nice location in the countryside and quiet.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

Another wonderful stay at this fantastic accommodation. The place was immaculate. Appreciate being informed the property was ready earlier than the check in time. Perfect location to restaurants and the beach. Spotlessly clean with lots of supplies. Very easy to access the property. A wonderful basket of treats awaited our arrival too. Excellent host. Such a lovely 2 night stay with such lovely hosts Jacquie and Roger. My dogs and I felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived. Firstly, the gift of lemon poppy cake with a coffee was a delight after our journey with the easy to use machine. The cottage was as I expected if not more. The information provided upon arrival is the best I have ever seen, and was so informative about where to go. The surroundings were stunning and with gorgeous weather. The dogs made plenty of use of the secure dog field, and the walks along the bridleway. We were so tired at the end of each day, and really slept well. We went off to Scarborough beach twice and it was about 20 mins by car. the beach at North Bay was stunning and quiet because it was mid week and not in the holiday season. I would highly recommend it. I enjoyed sitting in the field one evening to see the sky at night and that was amazing with the help of the app and thd sun rise in the morning. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Paul’s cabin. Beautifully furnished, it’s the perfect place for a countryside getaway! Wish we were staying for longer :) the WiFi isn’t the strongest which made researching the local area a little challenging. But Paul had kindly left out some brochures with a couple of local recommendations. Plus we ended up just winging it

Emma was a fantastic host and greeted us on arrival. She also provided a lovely welcome pack to get us going. The cottage is in an ideal location to explore Goathland and the surrounding villages. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Emma

The bungalow well exceeded our expectations, the holiday park is a lovely little complex. Amenities were great, there was nothing we felt was missing, the house has been fitted out to a very high standard. Beds comfortable and the rooms dark and very quiet at night. Filey is a 2 mile walk if you go via the beach. The section of beach near the site is lovely and sandy. Pool and steam room were very clean with long opening hours. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

Everything was just as described, Heather kept us informed regularly and responded quickly to our requests. Collie Cottage was perfect for our family and our daughter and grandson enjoyed the leisure complex and walked onto the beach. Heather recommended a Chinese restaurant in Filey which was excellent and great value. We have stayed at many cottages over the years and Collie Cottage is one of the best. The cottage is a credit to Heather and Fred and we would have no reservations in recommending it to anyone.

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

We had a very enjoyable short (post New Year) 3 night stay. The only problem being an issue with bedroom tv system. Amy tried to get this resolved promptly and it wasn't a real priority for us. Other than that, everything was fine. She always responded promptly to any queries and was able to allow some flexibility regarding check-in/departure times, which was appreciated.

Perfect holiday cottage! Had everything we could have ever needed and more! Very comfortable. Love the location as it’s only a short walk to the beach/ easy drive to other parts of the North Yorkshire coast. The public areas at The Bay are in need of some maintenance.

Really lovely place to stay! Immaculate house with very tasteful decor. The kids loved the pool too. The surrounding area was beautiful. Lucy was on hand very promptly for any queries we had. Very well equipped house and had everything we needed. Also so cosy & warm for the cooler weather. We will definitely visit again!
