Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

We had a wonderful stay here, was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The flat has everything you will need including some snacks and fresh eggs. The hot tub was great! Susan was quick to reply and very helpful and friendly. We didn't have a car but it's easy to walk into the village where there is a lovely pub, fish and chips (cash only) and co-op. Speaking of walking, it is right next to a great trail along a sea wall looking over the salt marshes seeing birds and to my shock Blackpool. We had a great time and will hopefully be back again.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Cottage was immaculate with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We had a lovely short stay we used the games room which is a fabulous resource. Garstang is a short drive away if you want to eat out but to be honest if you want a quiet break in beautiful surroundings this is your place. We are already looking at returning next spring 🙂

What a beautiful Airbnb with a welcoming atmosphere!! From the minute we stepped into the house it felt like a home from home. It was spotless and so cosy with homely touches. We were shown the workings of the hottub on arrival by Ralph which was very helpful and he was also really friendly. The view from the window looked out onto an open field and later on the sunset was beautiful (which we watched from the hottub)! The home is peaceful and a great get away from everyday busy life. The TV has everything you need from sky to Netflix and the couch is snug with blankets. The bed is most definitely a highlight as it was really cosy and comfortable. Overall we couldn't of been happier with our choice to stay at Little Nook and we will certainly be back soon! Thank you so much to Sharon and Ralph.

A fab stay at Patty’s Barn in beautiful surroundings. We loved watching parachutists jump out of the plane at the nearby airfield, sitting on the swings overlooking beautiful views and chilling in the hot tub. Our toddler loved the Games Room and scooter and felt right at home here. Michelle gave us great local recommendations and we were even able to buy Angus’s eggs on site. All in all, a lovely stay and just what we needed. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Patty's Barn, loved the rural location, great for cycling and walking. The accommodation was perfect - clean, well equipped and a good size. Michelle was a generous host, always friendly and ready to offer ideas and recommendations. Our kids, 11 and 13, loved the games room and kept them occupied for hours. We also loved watching the sky divers land at the centre next door!

Spacious, great amenities, close to the Wintergarden and beach. clean and quiet. There are steep steps to get inside and the shoer/tub is high. Not a problem for us but would be if you have mobility issues.

The location and surroundings were perfect for our family. The games room was a nice addition for the children to enjoy. Michelle was always close by if we needed any help. The outside setting was really nice with plenty of seating areas available. The skydiving centre was located opposite the cottage and we were able to see the planes take off and land as well as the parachutes landing. Would happily recommend Michelles Cottage.

So glad we found this place. Lovely spacious cottage, check in was a breeze. Great to turn up and find the heating on, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, plus other basics supplied. Great location for getting in to Lancaster or to the coast. Ruby 'the excitable Spaniel' even put in a couple of appearances. We'd definitely recommend & will return at some point.

A lovely place, Ray and Sue are excellent hosts, remembering us from before and leaving thoughtful touches. Will always be looking to book here when we're in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Garden Cottage! It was so cosy and warm & the we got so lucky with the weather 🌞 the paddock was brilliant for our little dog Elvis! The cottage had everything we needed. The sunrises are a must see from the paddock! Just wow! Janet gave us some great walk recommendations around the local area and further a field also! The bed was super comfy too which is always a win! I would say it could use some modernising inside the cottage, it was very homely but seemed a little tired but it was quirky and we had a great stay nonetheless! Although the cottage is on Janet’s grounds you seem a million miles away and the cottage is super private. Parking was great and easy to find the cottage! Would recommend a trip to Windermere & also Kirkby Lonsdale! The Snooty Fox is a brilliant pub! Also if you love a walk visit Ingleton Water falls trail! Truly amazing walk in the Yorkshire Dales! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay we loved it & would recommend! Holly, Ben & Elvis!

carol was lovely and very welcoming. she left us a welcome parcel with bread.. milk.. biscuits and cereal. all cleaning items available in a cupboard. loo rolls.. shampoo.. and soap in the bathroom. fresh bedding on the bed.. and it was lovely and warm for our arrival. our puppy loved the enclosed garden and the jar of treats left on the side for her. we will definitely be returning later in the year. We spent three wonderful days at Ann’s place while visiting family in the area and found the accommodation wanting for nothing. We found ourselves very relaxed in the conservatory watching the world go by outside. Parking is easy and generous with a pub/restaurant within walking distance. Can’t recommend Ann’s place highly enough!

A lovely space to spend time away from the world. We stayed for 3 days over new year and relaxed in front of the wood burner. The space was perfect for 4 of us.

Fab stay for me and my 2 children, enough space in the hut for us all to be comfortable! Really cute set up with all the huts and fairy lights! the kids absolutely loved it and there was plenty for them to do too - The park, waffles, the hall, mini golf and they actually just loved being in the huts! We took a trip to Alpaca fold too which was a huge hit with the kids so I would definitely recommend that. The only thing I would say is that you need to be organised with evening food, we thought we would be able to order however the first takeaway cancelled straight away due to location and the second couldn't find us so that was then cancelled. There's some restaurants nearby to get food but again you'd need to drive to them. We had the best time and will definitely be back:)

We had a lovely stay at Brunton House. Everything was really great, clean and tidy, very comfortable and warm just perfect. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed as a family of 5 and this Cottage was amazing, so much space and alot of games we loved playing charades kids were able to run around in the garden as safely away from the road by a lockable gate. The views are to die for I sat for ages on the bed just watching the farm buildings, the wind turbines on the horizon and in the evening watching the clouds move over. This kitchen had so much to offer and ample crockery etc, beautiful flowers on the table and clean windows. we loved the addition of a washing machine which meant I've come home with half as much washing as I would of done. The log burner was amazing and really added to the cozy lounge, the downstairs shower room with rainfall shower head was fantastic. Beds were soo comfy and the bedding was all fresh and clean. upstairs bathroom with shower over bath was lovely and big to bath our youngest. we will most definitely be rebooking.

Had a great stay for a couple of nights. A cosy and comfortable stay and loved the quirkiness of the building. Really nice decor which matched the feel of the house. Will definitely come back next time we visit Lancaster. Also nice to meet Claire in person. Thanks Ian and family.

our second stay in this accommodation and it was just as good as our first stay. Elaine is a great host and has provided everything you could think of to make the stay as comfortable as possible. we shall definitely return again.

Frank is a great host. From the start, he communicated promptly. He was extremely helpful especially when we had to ask if we could bring an additional dog. . The location of the house made travelling to the Wyre Estuary and Lancaster canal easy and accessible. The house was very well presented and we had everything we needed to make our stay extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Frank. We will be returning.

Helen is a great host, very quick to any questions, whole house is clean and warm, great view from rear of house onto wetland/marshland with lots of geese. short drive to Fleetwood (beach walks) & Blackpool for entertainment.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The house was exactly what my family needed for a week’s stay near christmas. Easy to find and get in, and we were welcomed after a long flight by a warm home and snacks and a clean, dust-free home. The downstairs toilet was a must for an elderly guest, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes and cutlery, dining table huge, washing machine very handy, lots of space, comfy beds and I absolutely loved how quiet and dark it was at night so we could all sleep well! There’s two corner shops nearby and Preston train station and shopping high street are within walking distance. I will definitely stay here next time I need to visit my family in Preston!

The apartment was lovely and clean, well appointed like a home from home, John was lovely throughout our stay, my daughter loved the addition on the Xbox, would highly recommended 5⭐️ Thanks Martin & Rebecca
