Had a very chill holiday even when it was raining. The host gave clear instructions about checking in. The place is pretty much complete already so we didnt get bored at all even when we just stayed home. The view’s stunning and very relaxing.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. Thank you for blessing us with your kindness and little slice of New Zealand!

What a great find Kahukura is! 11 of us stayed for a recent wedding, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is quirky and full of character, and the outdoor spaces are divine. Tim was a great host: accommodating, helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay again, as we anticipate future holidays in Kuaotunu

Beautiful view of the beach! I walked to the beach every morning and evening. It was a nice getaway from the city life.

We were so lucky to find Steffi's beautiful batch available for our wedding anniversary as we booked quite late. The views from every room were incredible and the comfortable furnishings and sound of the waves was the perfect way to relax. It was an extra bonus to be able to take our dog with us who also seemed to find it relaxing. We only spent a couple of nights but would happily have stayed longer and hope to come back in the future. Thank you.

You want to stay here. The location is amazing and the house is well stocked and comfortable. If you’re looking for a charming beach house with a great location, this is it. You truly are right on the beach and the sunrise views can’t be beat. There is a great restaurant within walking distance as well. We did struggle with using the coffee maker (thank you Google) and using the oven and stovetop (main switch on far wall behind the coffee machine). Clearer instructions would have been great. Otherwise, remarkable home and we’d definitely stay here again.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. All in all, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. It's definitely worth the price, and I would happily return in the future. Closely drivable to town for anything you may need, but an amazing view from this side of town! Perfect little place. Well kept and everything you need inside. Would love to come stay again!

Location was fantastic, and the waterfront sunrise view was beautiful, and a great way to start your day! Enjoyed spending time on the porch. Self check in process was easy, and having a dedicated parking spot right at the stairwell was a huge convenience. Amenities were excellent & the space itself was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated Donna’s quick responses and willingness to accommodate our needs on short notice. Her hospitality truly made a difference in our experience.

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

This is a great location on the canal front with a view straight down the waterway facing north.The property has its own water access boat/jet ski launching ramp and pontoon which is really convenient. The pool ,spa and deck areas get plenty of sun and great views. The house was very tidy and larger than expected with plenty of areas for privacy if anyone needed that. The kitchen is equipped with all thats expected in a home to cook for a family group and theres a second fridge and kitchenette to use which is helpful. We would come back again for sure.

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

Jenny's home was stunning. From the view, to the amenities, to the peaceful location, everything was spot on and spectacular. This is the type of place that people dream about staying in, made reality. Jenny was communicative and proactive in providing instructions and making sure our check-in went smoothly. The local recommendations and equipment provided was key to ensuring we had a good experience not only on the property, but in the surrounding area as well. I would stay there forever if I could, but most definitely would stay there again.

Great family stay for three generations. Local beaches are close by and all amenities you could need are not far by car. Shops for essentials are within easy walking distance. Something to do in all weathers

If you are looking to stay in a beautiful home with spectacular views, you have just found the place! As soon as we arrived, Lynne greeted us with a big smile and a bouquet of fresh picked flowers. She was so warm and welcoming along with little dog Lexie, who was so friendly. Lynne’s place is very spacious, clean and tidy. The rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. The bedding and linens were also top notch. The kitchenette was surprisingly stocked with fresh fruit, home made muffins, milk, water, cheese and crackers….and even a very nice bottle of wine! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed eating many of our meals on the deck, which overlooks the beach, which is less than a five minute walk away! Lynne’s small touches made our stay so relaxing that we hope to return again next year!

Lovely modern home on river by beach. Beautiful, quiet. Enjoyed kayaking from house to house wish we stayed longer!

We would highly recommend Robyn’s place. It is very clean and comfortable and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed, convenient parking and wonderful beach access. We were also very appreciative of Robyn’s flexibility with our booking & responsive communication.

We loved staying here! We were able to communicate with the hosts with ease. The Airbnb is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and everything in between. Irene is really accomodating and had come down to check on us to see if we needed anything which was nice. The facilities were great. Personally, the pictures don’t do the property justice! We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and homely it was. Most definitely would stay here again if I’m in the area next time😊

Wow wow wow! What a place! Michelle was incredibly kind and helpful, her place is immaculately clean and beautifully designed. It’s modern, lush, with plenty of light and everything you need. The place feels new and comfortable. There is a quiet river right in the palm tree garden, with kayaks you can use to explore it. Native birds and trees surround the space. The river access is also a minute away from the beach. You can borrow bikes or surfboards, or shovels to dig out the hot springs hidden under the sands! Even though it rained while we were there, it was a highlight for us. Thank you Michelle and James!
