Lovely little home on the creek! Very peaceful. We went during pollen season so made lots of use of the broom and vacuum. For a family of 3 with a dog, we were comfortable. ((As other reviews stated, note that the two bedrooms are not fully divided, so sound will travel with the vault of the ceiling. The loft is difficult to access with the ladder that is bolted to the wall, requires probably lighter weight and agility. Watch pet paws on the deck for splinters and noses by the creek for snakes. Also, the host mentions in the description about neighborhood dogs- watch as you’re driving, since they will sometimes be in the road, which is dirt and gravel)) The property was quiet and felt rural enough to be comfortable- almost like glamping but with more amenities! Being in nature, there’s a certain number of carpenter bees, wasps, mosquitoes, snakes, songbirds, a falcon roost- a nature lover’s heart’s content! By far one of my favorite memories was lazing by the creek.

We were road weary: 2489 miles in 4 days. On a personal mission. Lorraine provided us replenishment and many kindnesses. We arrived after 9pm. Easy to find. Peaceful. Beautiful. Restorative blessed property. Everything was thoughtfully laid out. Traveling with 2 small dogs- one very car sick. She recuperated. Our visit in the chapel was lovely. Some people create sacred spaces of restoration and kindness. Lorraine has done this. We are grateful for her. -Molly

we had another great stay at Wanda's place! It was very quiet and peaceful, with lots of space for the dogs to sniff around outside.

Friendly host and the place was immaculate. No complications. Kimberly was quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Absolutely beautiful home! So very relaxing and peaceful. I think this is the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had. The home was very comfortable with everything we could possibly need and the hosts were very responsive. Grocery stores and restaurants are a short drive. I miss it already! We will be back again!

Our second stay at this sweet little poolside cottage and we cannot recommend it highly enough as a travel respite off I-95. Reeves and Rebecca are lovely hosts and the cottage is exactly as pictured and described, in a quiet peaceful setting.

What a fantastic stay! Donny’s place is nestled among the trees, offering a stunning view of the surrounding forest. It’s stocked with fun activities for the whole family and just a short walk or bike ride into town. Plus, it’s an easy drive to the beach for a perfect day trip. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the porch, exploring the downtown shops during the day, and relaxing in the hammocks at night, listening to the calls of the resident barred owls. This charming retreat is a true hidden gem, and we’d love to return!

Safala is an excellent host. She was kind and communicative. Her place is very clean and set up perfectly with everything you need. It is centrally located in Florence and the neighborhood is safe with families jogging and taking walks. It is spacious and has newly tiled, glass enclosed shower and wonderful bath tub. I’d definitely stay again wherever I’m in Florence.

We had a fantastic weekend at the farm house visiting relatives in the area. The house is as described and has everything you need with alot of nice touches. Our dog had a blast running around the large lot the house is on. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.
