We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Perfect for our 3 kids, with such a quick walk to the beach. The dock was so fun to watch fireworks during 4th of July. We loved eating dinners on the porch, and hanging out playing cornhole.

Pete’s place is really great. Peaceful. We loved being on the water. We all enjoyed the canoe and rowboat and our boys loved fishing off the dock. House is charming and well done inside. Great front and back porches to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Absolutely loved our stay here.

We had a great time staying here. This was a really fun place on the river. We got to take advantage of the kayaks and do some exploring. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

If I’m being completely honest, when I booked, Rosemary’s place was more than I budgeted for the trip BUT it was totally worth it! Our hosts were very responsive and welcoming. I would highly recommend looking past the price, you will not be disappointed. The lakefront location and dock was important to me, so that sealed the deal. We enjoyed several nice days of fishing the chain of lakes even though our weather was overcast and chilly for a good portion of our trip. The location is great, close to lots of restaurants and places to visit. Our hosts Rosemary and Steve were very gracious, we appreciated their hospitality. It’s feels wonderful patronizing good folks. Thank you Steve and Rosemary!

My family decided last minute to stay here at the end of our vacation and we couldn’t be more happy with our choice! The beach/lake kept the kiddos entertained for hours! I had a couple questions while staying and Sherri always had quick and helpful responses. Kids are already asking when we can go back!

This trip was for my grandson and husband. It was thier 1st trip to Lake Okeechobee so there were questions we had regarding the lock to lake, boat launch, etc. Amanda went above and beyond to get all the needed information for the boys so they had a smooth trip. They loved the house and said she covered all the little things just as much as the big things. We have rented many times in places and have all the things covered, make the difference in your trips. We would give 10 stars if an option. Definitely recommend. Thank you Amanda for all you did!

Great location! Wonderful house and in a perfect spot! The listing says it sleeps 6 but there are only two beds and all the couches are love seats that don’t pull out. So unless you’re sleeping 3 to a bed or have 2 children or dwarves, it sleeps 4. I could be wrong, but I sent messages to the host that weren’t responded to. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay and relax, the dock is well maintained with good fishing less than 30 seconds from the front door. House was clean both bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. The host was very responsive and friendly. Neighborhood is well maintained friendly neighbors. Would stay here again

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful space. It was even better than the pictures showed! The view is amazing and it's fun to watch the wildlife from the deck. The hosts were so nice to talk to and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area. You won't regret it!!

Being in the vacation home management business myself, I was very impressed with this property cleanliness and well described. Has everything you could need. With supermarkets and restaurants within minutes away. Nothing better than watching the sunrise from the lake view. Loved it thanks much. Richard

My fiancé and I spent a few nights for a Disney trip and had a great time. It is serene and nature filled location. The hosts are extremely proactive and friendly. We ran into no problems with needing an extension for our check out. Easily accommodates guests and visitors. The property is a bit isolated from the main road. As an example, the nearest gas station was around 15-20 minutes away. Overall it is a great spot and would definitely recommend!

Always a pleasure to stay at this property and enjoy being at Lake Ella. Can’t wait to return.

Connecting with this place was like winning the airbnb jackpot. It was an absolute treasure! I was only there for one night as a traveling stop but wish I 'd stayed so much longer! The lake and property are stunningly beautiful, magical, and peaceful. Lesley and Steve couldn't be nicer, and they put so many thoughtful touches into the rental. You can tell how much they enjoy hosting and care about their guests. I deeply enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake from the dock and enjoying my morning coffee with the birds. I also loved writing in the screened in porch. I wasn't there long enough to kayak but look forward to doing so, and exploring Melrose, next time. The place was cozy; the bed was comfy. It far exceeded my expectations for the price! Meeting Stella and Booties was such a wonderful bonus and the nature blessed property is beyond gorgeous and relaxing. It felt like a mini retreat! I could not recommend booking here more - just give yourself time to enjoy it!

This couple was so welcoming and friendly. It almost didn’t feel like an airbnb, more like I was visiting distant relatives. They were very friendly to my son, even asking him if he’d like to help gather eggs from their chicken coop. It was just overall a great experience especially with the arcade downstairs.

Gladys place was peaceful, a close commute to everything and nice walk to the water. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt at home throughout our stay.

Alisha's place was perfect! We only got to stay one night but it was just what we needed after a long day. The house is clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and Alisha was a great host! We definitely recommend staying at Alisha's place.

Nice little place. Bed was very comfortable for us. Great having the dock across the road. Beautiful sunsets over the river. Debra was very responsive of any inquiries we had.

I need to see water and wildlife daily if possible. Traveling work trip covering every area of the state. One of the few options in the area that can provide that plus my needed amenities. Wanted to fish and work, but the comfortable bed and a Better Call Saul marathon convinced me to take a needed day off. Never left the whole 40 hours I was there. Private enough outside. Cozy inside. I will add that I’ve never stayed in a tiny home before. At 6’3”, it was an adjustment. Then I got comfortable and forgot all about it. This is also my first airbnb. Lori definitely is an asset to this community. I can’t think of any reason why anyone reading this review should have any concerns about this property. Two thumbs up!!

Off the beaten path, yet close proximity to a number of unique and cool things to do. (Like the animal park, or seafood restaurants) Hosts provide a number of local recommendations and things such as Starbucks or Grocery stores are nearby. Great location near the waterway that leads to other places to explore by kayaks provided by the hosts. Definitely will consider this place again when we return to the area.

In spite of one of us having a raging cold, we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed having the serenity needed when feeling bad. Kristin was always most helpful and very friendly, even offering to pick up a pizza for us on our first night.

Amazing home and view. So close to springs and other fun Florida spots. Perfect home for a relaxing weekend get away if you live in Florida! We will definitely be back! Thanks Ashley for your hospitality and wonderful communication!!!

Very cute cottage in a private area with a beautiful lake in the back! Was a very peaceful place. Very responsive host! I’d highly recommend staying here.

Quaint little place as a midway stop for us. We were delayed by several hours due to traffic and our gps took us to the wrong spot at first. We finally arrived at almost midnight and everything was ready and Bernadette answered a question for us. The accommodations were great, it had everything we needed and was very clean. Right on the water and a lovely little dock. It was a little chilly and we only had a short stop so we didn’t get to enjoy the back porch but it looked great. There’s a great little stand down the road with boiled peanuts and they were delicious. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone was very friendly. We had dinner at Gator Bay almost next door and the food was delicious, everyone was very friendly and a great atmosphere. Bernadette was a great host, she even came over and played with our dogs. We would definitely stay here again.
