Our family had a fantastic vacation at Paula and Chris’s cottage on Lake Eugenia. This beautifully rustic and well-loved cottage is perfectly equipped for guests of all ages and interests. Although the weather started off cold and rainy, and not good for swimming at first, we took the opportunity to explore the nearby Bruce Trails, just a short 5-10 minute drive away, where we enjoyed spectacular views. Back at the cottage, the fire pit made our evenings cozy and memorable, and the hot tub was an amazing bonus while we waited for the weather to improve. Once the sun came out, the kids couldn’t wait to jump into the lake, and they had an absolute blast! The Lily pad was amazing- hours and hours of uninterrupted fun. Lake Eugenia is a stunning spot perfect for swimming and just the right size for exploring by canoe or kayak. A big thank you to Chris and Paula for being such wonderful hosts!

Perfect for our family getaway. With 13 people ages 3-71 we appreciated the large areas to gather and smaller corners to get a little quiet when needed. Lots of amenities for various ages on the property as well as in the area. Clean and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Thanks for being a great host Jakub

We enjoyed our visit to Sauble Beach and Yvonne’s cottage was great. Super clean with everything you need for a weekend away. Their place is next store which would make it helpful if guests needed anything at all. We ran out of potable water and it was provided immediately. The hot tub is located in the backyard with a deck surrounded by a big yard and three beautiful cabins. While we didn’t use them, bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards (plus more) are available for use at no charge. We loved that a beautiful beach is a block away. Perfect location for anyone looking to explore the area. Our visit was right at the end of summer season so all restaurants were open. We loved this area and proximity to Tobermory.

Tom has an excellent place to relax with everything you could need. definitely recommend

This cottage is very charming and homey. Our kids loved the second floor bedrooms. The kitchen is remarkably well furnished. If you have kids then you could teach them how to use a woodstove (as noted by our youngest son). The second you walk in, you feel like you've been there for ages, and it reminds you of childhood Summers and other loved cottages.

We had an amazing experience with Jamal! Not only was the place exactly as described, but he also went above and beyond to accommodate us when severe weather disrupted our original plans. He was incredibly understanding, flexible, and responsive, allowing us to enjoy our trip. His kindness and hospitality made our trip stress-free, and we truly appreciated his excellent communication. We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely book again in the future. Thank you, Jamal!

This is a great place! Very clean, warm and inviting. It had everything you could need. Cheyene was very friendly and quick to respond. The backyard was nice and spacious and the fire pit and hot tub were perfect in making our getaway enjoyable and relaxing!

The peaceful location was perfect for relaxing, yet close to nearby attractions. Our host was thoughtful and communicative, making sure we had a great experience. We can’t wait to return!

Stepping stones cottage is cute and cozy and the location was fantastic. The views are incredible, it feels private and it's close enough to both town and outdoor recreation. Marie was a great host. My only note is a heads up for future tall guests ...the shower stall is small and the toilet is low.

We planned a last minute weekend away and the team was fantastic! They made our stay so inviting. Loved the DVD library, kayaking was fantastic and the lake was perfect for a little one. Really shallow and warm. Loved it was dog friendly too. The cabin had that old school cottage feeling which we appreciate. Will return

I highly recommend Matt’s place! Comfortable, clean cottage with a beautiful patio and view of the lake. Even though it was pretty cold and windy, the house was very warm! Super close to Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula Park! Matt was a friendly and helpful host!

A great rustic get away. Just be mindful of the garbage you bring as you will need to deal with it at the end of your stay. The view is very pretty in the mornings 🌅 My husband and I got a lot of use out of the firepit and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest! Location is convenient to visit tobermory, Lions Head and Devil Monument!

Awesome cottage! Would go back again

The cottage looked like the photos, was super clean and very comfy. We loved all the different outdoor seating options. There was a bird feeder in the tree and we enjoyed watching the blue jays and gackles. The beach was about a 10 minute walk. We forgot our marshmallow skewers, but they had some. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed our winter get away! Driveway was clear and there was a big hill of snow the kids loved. Place was the right size for our family of 4. Loved that it was clean and no pet hair (we always take note). Everything was ready and available - split wood, sleds, snowshoes, coffee, etc. Toys and games inside so we didn't need to bring a bunch of things for the kids. Dress for the weather and enjoy some quiet!

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful lakeside cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the lake and the serene atmosphere. The cottage is nestled perfectly on the shore, offering the perfect balance of privacy and access to nature. Inside, the cottage was spotless and incredibly well-appointed. Every amenity you could think of was provided – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy beds. We loved the thoughtful touches like the Propane BBQ, and fire pit by the lake, which made our evenings magical. The living spaces were so comfortable, and the large windows let in tons of natural light, making us feel connected to the beautiful surroundings even when we were indoors. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, it was exactly what we needed to recharge. Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat by the lake.

My sister and I had a wonderful week! The cabin is clean, well-appointed and surprisingly close to the beach. Labour Day Weekend was busy but everyone was friendly and respectful, and everyone abided by the the 11pm quiet rule. This cabin is ideally located. It is a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive to the Sauble Beach strip and the town of Sauble Beach is a great take-off point for a wide variety of day trips, shops and restaurants in Southhampton, Port Elgin, Owen Sound, Tobermory. The sunsets and the gorgeous blue-green water will knock you out. If you have any beach-bum in you, this is the place for you.

We just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and picturesque, right on the water with all the amenities we needed. Ildiko was quick to respond if we had any questions and was accommodating where we had some requests regarding check out. An absolute gem of a place, amazing views and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely recommend staying here. We would love to be back in the warmer months to experience the additional facilities such as kayaking.
