I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

Bessie was a wonderful host and the house was a great mountaintop cabin feel! The hot tub was a nice touch, the ping pong table was fun, and we love the big sun room! Can’t express how appreciative we are of the hospitality of this place!

We had a great stay at Ezekiel’s cabin. The cabin was comfortable and well stocked. The location is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night and looking at the stars. Bonus fun was getting to feed the chickens. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin! We traveled from Kansas for our daughter’s engagement party. This cabin easily accommodated us, was clean, and had the most beautiful views. Will for sure be returning!

Absolutely beautiful cabin and land. If you are looking for a very private get-a-way cabin, look no further. We did have power issues due to a winter storm, but Katherine was extremely responsive and helpful in working with us through everything. We will definitely be booking this in the future!

Just as described. Cabin was very private. It was spacious and though not updated with modern appliances and decor, (it is as pictured) that is part of the charm. This is a true vintage cabin that gives you a place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

The cabin and property exceeded expectations and was nicer than the photos. My favorite spot was the small screened in porch with cushioned rocker chairs. We sat there watching the creek while listening to the mellow wind chimes. The cabin was very clean and there were many 'extras' supplied that you wouldn't think about needing. The host was proactively responsive and very quick replies when asking questions. I'm sure the summer might be a different story, but other than one neighbor down the road stopping us to chat it was very quiet. It's a very short route to hop on Route 58 to grab a bite at Crooked Oak Restaurant (a local diner with good food), or a few minutes in the other direction to head into the town of Hillsville. You can tell that a lot of care went into building the cabin into what it is today--built by their family and slate/stone sourced locally for the hearth. Just beautiful. Will be returning to stay again <3

it was more than what we expected! it was clean, remote, serene. our pups enjoyed the fenced in property! we want to come again and bring our kids! the stars were out of this universe. my husband LOVED the wood burning stove!

These folks run a top-tier stay in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mts. My family enjoyed the getaway, and we soaked up all of the air and sun that we could! Simply put, we are already planning our return next spring. Thank you so much!

The cabin and host left a great impression and comfort. The stream in the back was so peaceful in the swing they provided. The beds are comfortable and clean. The house smelled clean when we walked in, and every part of it was clean. They even offered spices, coffee, oil, and various essentials. It was hard for us to leave to get back to normal. It was so peaceful, and we would definitely like to stay there again when visiting family in Floyd and Cana.

Loved this cozy little cabin! We just wanted to have a place to unwind for a couple of days before continuing our long roadtrip and this home was perfect for that. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Our favorite amenity is the fireplace. Loved the quiet and nature around this location. Light pollution is not bad here so you can easily snuggle on the back deck and stargaze. Rebecca and her team were absolutely fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and Rebecca was on top of it and took great care of us. Will definitely be checking openings for this location next time we pass through.

Cute little cabin and just what we needed for race weekend.

This is a beautiful place. I can imagine it would be amazing in fall but also if there were snow on the trees. The house is very well appointed. Everything you need and more. Layout is great as well.

Super nice spot to get away from it all. The cutest, cozy, most charming cottage. Gorgeous area with not a whole lot of things to do but unplug and relax. Rocking on the front porch sipping a bottle of local wine with my dog by my side watching the geese in the pond reset my soul.We soooo needed that.

The views from the cabin are as promised and as shown in the pictures, which was the primary reason we rented here. The cabin was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!
