We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Loved the location and the stay. Great communication. Just keep in mind they designed this for people who travel for pleasure. If you are a working contractor with a larger vehicle then you will have to park in a spot next door. Not a huge deal, just prepare for a long walk.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The kids loved the pool and running around outside, the views were beautiful, and Sarah was such a welcoming host. We are looking forward to coming back!

The house was amazing! Location was great. House is fully equipped and very spacious. Our children loved the heated pool and hot tub. The views were great. Every room had their own bathrooms. Overall this was a very nice experience and I would book again.

We really enjoyed staying at David’s little cottage in Troy. David was very accommodating, even offering to bring us a pizza when a storm caused an afternoon power outage! Unfortunately it was just a little too cold for the fire pit! We explored nearby Pleasant Grove Park and antique stores in Palmyra and Gordonsville.

Great place in a great location. If you’re visiting to do some of the historical sites or you’re more interested in visiting some of the many wineries in the area this place is in the center of it. A few minute drive to Michies tavern, Monticello, and downtown Charlottesville. Our family had a blast!

Sarah couldn’t have been a better host. She’s so nice, accommodating, and understanding. She had the place clean as a whistle and is very responsive. Lots of space, comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings. There are lots of bathrooms, too and privacy. She was the best!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away and a wedding venue close by!

This is one of my favorite’s so far !! We stayed here for two weeks working in the area and the home had everything we needed. Highly Recommend

My friend and I had an amazing stay. Jerry was a wonderful host. The backyard was fantastic for the pups to play. Jerry set out dog bowls and a dog bed (that my dog loved and now I need to buy one. lol). Once we stepped into the house, we felt right at home. The House was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you Jerry for opening your home to us and being a gracious host.
