Aaron did a great job communicating and making himself available should we need anything. Our group of stayed here for two nights. We had plenty of space and it was quiet and peaceful. Easy quick ride shares from here to restaurants. Our group would stay here again

Bluebird Cottage was amazing! The space was clean, stylish, and well-equipped. The host was friendly, attentive, and provided great local recommendations. The bed was super comfy, and the location was perfect for exploring and visiting friends. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. Fantastic experience!

This was a lovely stay! A cozy scenic retreat yet close to virtually anything one could want to do in Charlottesville. From the moment of arrival to our departure everything was outstanding. The living areas are welcoming and homey, the galley-style kitchen is ideal for coffee and a quick breakfast, and the bed is big and comfy. We especially appreciated all the little personal touches and how peaceful the setting is. And of course, it is a joy waking up in the morning, looking out the back window and seeing beautiful sheep a short distance away. We will definitely return next time we visit Charlottesville!

We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary 💕 this tree house is the cutest and loft bed is so comfortable and loved looking out at the stars. That hike though 😮‍💨 I clearly need to walk more. It is very steep but well worth it if you can make the hike.

great little hideaway! I really enjoyed the outdoor natural gas fire pit and just sitting outside either by the firepit or on the porch swing for coffee was just really great. we didn't even turn on the TV.... can't reiterate how relaxing it was!

This was my second stay at the Black Cat Retreat. I highly recommend staying here. The place is great! It’s a wonderful big area with plenty of natural light. Lennice is a wonderful host and a pleasure to talk to! My dog Max and I loved staying here!

Scott’s place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Having a place to stay outside of the busy city was perfect. My partner and I loved having an Airbnb versus a hotel room. We had a hotel room for our last trip to Charlottesville and it felt so cramped and stuffy. Scott’s home was very well set up and laid out. The beautiful farm animals and cute fluffy dogs were a HUGE plus!

Linda’s house is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway! Love how the house is nestled in the woods and that the house has huge windows throughout it to enjoy the view. This was our 2nd time staying here and will definitely be back! Linda is super sweet and very responsive and helpful if you have any questions.
