We had a lovely stay on the farm. My boys absolutely loved the hut and said the beds were the comfiest beds ever! It was perfect for what we were after, a quiet family break. We arrived arrived in the dark so although the instructions were easy to follow we took a wrong turn but found our way. Torches definitely needed with darker nights. Communication was good, no one on site but at the end of the phone if anything needed. Only down side was that there was no EV Charger as mentioned in the listing but otherwise great.

Beautiful little shepherd's hut in a lovely area - a perfect countryside getaway for the weekend (or longer). Huts were clean and really well insulated - would stay cozy in all weathers. Kellie was the perfect host and really helpful - would highly recommend!

molly dishwasher is in an absolutely stunning location the pictures don't do justice to how stunning this place is your surrounded by the most beautiful views in the most peaceful location, me and my family had the most amazing 2 nights staying here and the little personal touches added on top just make it that much more special, moppy is an amazing host and let the boys help feed the animals on the last night which they absolutely loved, there is another hut on site but you cant see them so you have amazing privacy. I can see why lots of people who stay here are on there 7th visit as its a place you'll want to re visit after staying. we will defiantly be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and relaxed with a nice Barbeque ( which was provided!). The highlight was lighting the fire pit in the evening and huddling around the flames. Kellie was super helpful, and the kitchen/ bathroom had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

I would recommend skylark to anyone looking for some peace. I went alone. I felt completely safe. I knew the farm house was close by but I also had complete privacy so i was able to fully relax. Having the fire pit was wonderful. I used it every evening and sat under the stars. I loved having my own kitchen and bathroom. Moppy was always responsive. I needed more logs and they arrived promptly. She left plenty of food in the fridge. Eggs. Bacon. Sausages. Croissant. Muesli.Milk. Butter. Good coffee etc. I didn't want fro anything at all. Moppy even took me to the train station on my return. A lovely woman and a lovely family.Thanks, Moppy

Very lovely stay in Daisy Hut! Area was very beautiful and peaceful. The farm was lovely to walk around. Chris was very responsive and attentive throughout the stay and made everything very easy. Would definitely recommend!

We loved Hannah's place. The hut is exactly like the pictures, really comfy, we felt at home. Hannah is really friendly and helpful. Amazing place for dogs and to connect with nature Definitely we would go back.

We had a fantastic stay in the Shepherds Hut - it was incredibly peaceful and private and the hot tub was perfect after a long day hiking! We will definitely be coming to stay again!

Keeley's showmans wagon is a truly amazing place to stay. She has attended to every detail to make it gorgeous and authentic and comfortable. We loved the place,the setting, the hospitality. We recommend it highly and will definitely go back.

We were taken in an OG Land Rover to our hut once we parked up which was sweet of them. Vicki''s husband was lovely and gave great recommendations. breakfast was lovely. they were so attentive. would 100% do it again! the Long Man brewery is great, the Cricketers Arms did a good roast too!

Lovely little place in the centre of Alfriston. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Good WiFi and even some cards! Breakfast was nice and Bridget helpful throughout.

My partner and I book this place last minuet for us and our two young girls. We’ve been to places like this before else where and we were really impressed and happy with how child friendly this place is. From a kiddie toilet seat cover for the compost loo’s to all sorts of ball games provided - as well as a small kiddie kitchen our girls absolutely loved playing with. We only stayed for an evening as it was a stop over but wished we could’ve booked for another night! Both beds were comfortable and the hut was very clean - Tilly has thought of everything even to the point of having children’s books. All cutlery and essentials were there too. If you’re a parent thinking about booking with your kids I really really recommend it. Absolutely stunning views, games to play & such a homely feeling in the hut. We will absolutely be booking again near the summer time for a longer period of time.

We had a fantastic stay—peaceful early mornings filled with bird song, including owl calls at 5am (which must be local but didn’t spot) and sightings of buzzards, kestrels, and some others. The double shepherd’s hut is a great idea - perfect balance of space and intimacy. Wish we’d stayed longer! McCanns Brewery is a short walk away and a lively place at the weekend.

Highly recommend- Me and my partner had a wonderful stay, when we arrived the hut was clean, tidy and ready for us. The big dvd selection kept us entertained for the evening and the log fire kept us warm and cosy. It was so peaceful and felt nice to just be away from everyone, we just wish we stayed for two nights instead of the one. Charlotte was really helpful and both her and her husband were really friendly, Welly the dog was also adorable.

Graham was a lovely host, the cabin was clean, comfortable and very well decorated. The stay couldn’t have been any better!

Loved our stay in the shepherds hut, felt right at home instantly and we had everything we wanted. Great spot for bird watching and relaxing, very peaceful surroundings. Enjoyed building fires every night. Very friendly and thoughtful host - thanks Lucy!

Absolutely perfect, Charlotte was an incredibly welcoming host to start and showed us to the hut. Was absolutely brilliant super warm and cosy, decorated wonderfully and has everything you need. Even for a small space had plenty of cooking equipment. We stayed on a miserable winter day and even then the setting was wonderful - can imagine how nice it would be in the summer!

What a beautiful little spot in the countryside. The cabin itself was beautiful so cosy and for a small space quite roomy too! Has everything you need even a little honesty bar with drinks and snacks. We have four dogs (big dogs) and they were very well catered for too, treats on arrival and a dog bed for them! The main event is the outside space. We really struggle with finding somewhere that allows us to have a peaceful break with our girls but this space is amazing. The communication was second to non and the hosts were lovely too. We’d love to be back in the future 🐕❤️

We had such a lovely stay here. It was for my partner’s birthdays and Kelly went above and beyond to make it special for our arrival. Beautiful surrounds. The hut is so cosy and lovely. Peaceful weekend away in a well equiped and cosy hut! The fire pit outside was great in the evening and the bed was really conformatable.
