Our subcontractor team had a fantastic stay at Anne’s house while working on a project in the area. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything they needed for their stay. Anne was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend their stay unexpectedly. Her flexibility and understanding made a big difference for us. I will begin with this was our second time visiting and it won't be our last! A beautifully positioned getaway only 5kms approximately off the Newell Highway. Any travellers needing somewhere to rest their head for a night or more, don't look past this absolute beauty and its a bargain . It's cute country rustic meets glamping of a kind because you have all the facilities you need without having to pitch your swag to sleep or light a fire to boil a kettle. The toilets and shower are just divine, modern facilities tucked in away behind the corrugated tin it really is a treat! Your Hosts Gemma and Church are amazing people, so warm and welcoming. Their property is peaceful and a great spot to unwind and relax. If you are a bush country fan you will love this location, so do yourself a favour and check it out, we drove 13 hours south the first time and it was worth it, heading back up to qld we drove 6 hours, it's still worth it. Its a destination for us for sure❤️

A truly lovely stay! The place was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. We especially adored Pete, the adorable dog who made our visit even more special. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering fresh juice and sourdough, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

This is a very clean and tidy home and ideal for a stopover to rest up. Strongly recommended.

Our stay at Edgewater lodge was exactly what we were looking for. The accommodation was set amongst beautiful natural surroundings providing the ideal escape from the business of life. The ecology of the land particularly stood out; spotting native birds, kangaroos and a diverse range of pollinators on site. A truly thriving ecosystem! The care Kerstin and Darren have put into the land is truly commendable. Perfect for any nature lover - Thank you to our hosts.
