Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

We had. Wonderful stay in the cabin and used the hot tub everyday . The cabin was perfect for the two of us and the view from the cabin was amazing. We visited Chatsworth , Bakewell and Matlock . Guests get 10% off if you visit the bear inn , food was lovely nice choices would recommend . It’s a 4 min drive from cabin or 25 min walk .

Really great Airbnb. I've stayed in lots in the area and this is the best so far. Small but perfectly formed, super comfy bed and Chloe (very helpful host) even provided a photo of the entrance in advance which helped massively!

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again. Jake was great. This place was basically brand new. It was perfect for the bank holiday weekend if I ever find myself back in Nottingham will stay again.

Wonderfully peaceful surroundings and a great base to explore the local area for a few days. The cabin was just as described and our two boys loved waking up and just watching the animals (as did our dog). Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing (hot tub was again a big hit with the kids) break while there are also beautiful walks and things to do close by.

Good location for Derby and National Trust properties. Very quiet. Cosy bungalow with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Suki and Jas. Little pointer. Press quite hard on the numbers of the key lock to release. We were a little to gentle at first and took ages to get the key🤣

Fantastic place for a get away very peaceful. Lovely and tidy when we arrived and the hot tub was ready togo. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. 10/10 weekend. Can’t recommend enough.
