We had a wonderful time at this place! It was only a short drive to the lake and had access to multiple wineries! We took an afternoon to drive to Corning. It was great we could bring our dog along too!

We had such a great time. The lake views are beautiful and the proximity to town is excellent. Zoila was attentive and made sure we had all the necessary information and were accommodated for the weekend. There are some things in the house that could use updates but our stay wasn't affected.

What a beautiful, relaxing home. i needed a place to relax after a long day of volunteering and this was beyond my expectations.

We truly enjoyed our stay, we would love to come again! The jacuzzi was right next to the cabin which made an easy and quick walk to the warm tub in the cold weather. There was lots of green grass for my dog to explore and the cabin was so cozy and warm. The heat was already running when we arrived which was wonderful and we felt right at home. The property is huge so we were able to get my dog some great exercise. The breakfast was eggs, hash browns and a wonderful loaf of banana bread. The hosts were responsive and attentive. Great experience!

My family and I had a great time here. The photos looked amazing , but in person it was so much more. The place was nice, clean and organized. I would definitely recommend and we’d return to this listing as well. The host was very nice and helpful. Our stay was so nice we extended it by 2 more days and the host was very accommodating. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Overall it was a really great experience. Memories were made here😊

Thank you so much for letting us stay in this beautiful home for the weekend! We had such an incredible time - everything was so clean and cozy, had all the necessary amenities for a weekend getaway, and we appreciated the recommendations for the area! We didn't know there was another house so close by, however the hot tub area was still secluded enough and allowed for our cozy privacy. We would have liked some more curtains / blinds for the bigger glass door & kitchen window, but otherwise felt very safe and secluded. Would definitely book again!

The pictures did no justice! The place looked 100 times better in person. I enjoyed the view, the peace and the privacy. Jackie responded quickly before and during my stay! Everything was just perfect. I stayed with my church as a church retreat and we will definitely be coming back! I mean, it was hard to even leave!

Great value for the price. The cabin is older but maintained and clean. It matched the photos. It was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, plates, etc. The neighborhood is cute and quiet and close to Penn Yan (about 10 mins away) that has restaurants and grocery stores. There are also lots of local vineyards close by. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great little cabin in the woods! Property is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. The outdoor kitchen is a huge plus. The stove kept us nice and warm when it dropped to the 30s over the weekend. Will definitely be back!

J's rustic cabin is a wonderful spot in the woods. The view of the forest behind the cabin is so peaceful whether it's by the fire or from the screened porch. This place makes for a great weekend escape if you love nature and want some peace and quiet. The surrounding area is as beautiful as you might expect from the finger lakes and you're close to Watkins Glen & Ithaca. J was proactive and helpful. The cabin was stocked more than we even expected, particularly the cook ware & stove setup which was great. I would definitely return.

Our stay at Jan’s place was phenomenal! Being that our family resides in the city, this was the PERFECT place for us to get away and have some peace and tranquility away from the chaotic day to day. The scenery was beautiful and amazing to take in—being that you are on top of the mountain, you get the best views. The cabin was extremely cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Most importantly, Jan was very friendly and responsive and answered any questions or concerns efficiently. She also ensured that we had an easy check in and made sure everything was smooth sailing. My family and I made great memories and will definitely be coming back to stay at her wonderful cabin!

This cabin was amazing! Everything was as it was described in the listing. It was a great place to get away, yet be near all the wineries/vineyards and location I needed to get to for the marathon. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the Finger Lakes! The host was very responsive, the amenities inside the cabin were great, and the pond was fabulous! It was great being able to bring our dogs with us too :-)

We had a great stay at the cabin, which was well appointed and cozy. The location is rural and secluded, with is very relaxing and has access to trails, ponds, and beautiful farm views. The cabin was exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the fire pit and air conditioning. Destiny was extremely responsive and went above and beyond for us, finding us an iron since we had an event, and bringing extra firewood to our cabin. The location was also a great home base to explore the area, since it seemed to be only 20 min from everywhere (Watkins Glen, wineries, Corning museum). Can’t wait to come back again.

We loved John's home. It was incredibly quiet, cozy and a beautiful place for us to unwind and relax. It was also close to some great wineries, restaurants and a brewery. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality, John!

Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Everything we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. Very peaceful, clean home, pond was great. The communication was great and there were plenty of instructions throughout the home to make our stay very easy and comfortable.

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

It is exactly as he describes it. That is what we hoped it was, that is what we got. The place is perfect for a stay in the middle of nowhere. It’s not a glamping… it’s a throw back to a different time. It’s simplistic. It’s cozy, it’s old, it’s rustic, it’s just been there for a loooooong time. It has the feel of decades and decades of memories that only time will recall.

This cabin was very cute, extremely private and nestled in among the trees which we loved. The beds were really comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed and was a great place to come back to after exploring the area. Virginia gave us some great ideas on what to do and where to eat. Beautiful property in a stunning location! Cabins are small but very efficient. Beautiful sunsets at the dock. A great landing pad to explore the area.

The cabin is a wonderful get away!!! The description cannot do it justice. The surroundings, the forest and lakes are beautiful. Christine and her parents are great hosts!!! The cabin doesn’t have plumbing or electricity. However, there is everything you need. There are battery powered lights, generators, a functional toilet, a sink with pressured water. There is a wood burning furnace with an oven above. Christine provided lots of wood for the stove to keep warm in the winter. There is a Coleman stove and a bbq. The cabin is a beautiful tranquil and rustic getaway. Perfect spot to rest or write or read. Lots of walking and outdoors activities around. We also did the sauna and ice water plunge which were an amazing experience!!! Would 100% go back.
