We had a lovely weekend away at the chocolate house. Ian and Christine were very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we needed. The fire made it very cosy, the wood was included in the price which was really good. Danny the dog was lovely! The garden was very secure for our dogs and the hosts were more than happy for them to roam around. Pubs within walking distance and we found everyone friendly! Pandy inn in Dorstone is worth a visit but best to book. They squeezed us in after a lovely walk from Arthur’s stone, which was very kind and service was amazing! Also very dog friendly.

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

Our stay at Jessica's place was absolutely fantastic! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully arranged with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and the little touches like the welcome basket and soft blankets made us feel truly at home. The surrounding views were stunning, and waking up to the peaceful countryside was a dream. We loved the attention to detail in the decor, from the charming framed pictures to the warm lighting. Jessica was a wonderful host—responsive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations for local spots. We highly recommend this to anyone.

Just returned from a great 2 nights here! Lovely lovely place clean and tidy with enough space even for 4 adults, exactly what we were looking for Elaine was an excellent host and couldn’t of done more for us, was literally next door from the cottage and was on hand for everything that we needed Shout out to Glo for a superb breakfast with views to match!

Trudy was a lovely host, she made sure we were greeted as soon as we arrived at the property and shown around. The property is stunning, absolutely spotless and filled with lovely little touches that made for a luxurious stay. From the attention to detail as you explore the property you can really tell Trudy truly cares to give her guests the best possible experience. All the little things really made this a perfect stay, along with of course the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a little relaxing retreat. If 10 stars was an option I would definitely give it, we will definitely be back in the future!

Stayed here on 29/03/25 after me and my partner did the four waterfall walk, we was looking for somewhere quiet to stay the night and just relax and this place was right up there. Lovely location, easy to find and lovely and peaceful. Amazing responsive owner and nothing was too much trouble. It was clean as clean, everything we needed was inside and the bonus was the hot tub also, amazing extra to have and was warm and already running when we got there. Was recommended the lion pub for food and what food it was, good value and very nice food and only a 5 min walk from the place :) not one bad word about this place and will be recommending to all my friends etc who I know who go that way to stay here. We will 100% be back. Thank you again for an amazing stay

A really nice place, with a great host!

My husband and I plus our elderly cat stayed at Vanessa and Dom's gorgeous Garden Room whilst in the area looking for a property. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, modern, and inviting with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was great, well stocked and we cooked meals every night. Lovely fluffy towels provided in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. A great little area in the hallway provided a washing machine and we had a rotary line at the side of the bungalow. The lounge overlooked their beautiful back garden which was both very private and peaceful. Everything we could possibly need! Both Vanessa and Dom were extremely welcoming and friendly and communication was excellent. We have really enjoyed our stay and meeting their lovely dog Pablo, such a character! We would definitely recommend! Thank you Vanessa and Dom for a lovely stay!

Amanda was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Cedar Cottage is lovely and made a great base for exploring the area. We appreciated the the extra touches such as cake and coffee pods. The cottage is fitted out to a high standard and was very clean and well equipped with eveything you could need. The folder with the walks and things to was very helpful. Definately would return.

Lou and Chris are amazing hosts, so welcoming, friendly and generally helpful, even offering to help with transport as we walked this part of the palladian way (also being on call incase my husband's newly dodgy achilles thwarted our plans). they also laid on perfect weather!

Beautiful little place with a real homely feel. Location is great for accessing walks across the Beacons or if you have a car then just short easy drives to nearby other popular walking areas or biking. Amy and Oliver were extremely welcoming and provided lots of really helpful information about the local area and popular places to eat and drink. There is only one pub for food and drink in the immediate village which is very popular but also small so you need to pre-book to have a chance of eating there which we failed to do went to another popular recommended place which was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here for sure!!

This is such a beautiful place , great for our weekend away to Bath , we found it very peaceful and easy to walk into Bath or out for a drink at night . Sue was lovely made a great deal of effort to make sure our stay was perfect, so helpful with information about the area , things to do , places to go for food ect...loved it x

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is like home from home, so comfortable and spacious. I'm sure we will be back again soon. It has everything you could need, and no issues at all. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our getaway with our babies and friends to Becky’s house. Great amenities- host was super flexible about giving us access to the pool, we loved the barbecue, pool and hot tub and even met some local cows. Hosts we flexible with an earlier check in time- and we had beautiful weather. Would highly recommend this place to all!

Beautiful place, in a beautiful area of town. It felt very special to be staying there! Loved the eggs from the hens and the welcome pack meant we didn’t have to go shopping! Everything was tip top❤️

This lodge is the perfect place if you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay, beautiful cottage and really makes you feel at home, also a lot of very nice places to visit while you stay, would highly recommend to anyone. Also a great host who communicates really well.

This was my second visit to Rebecca's. Rebecca is extremely helpful and responsive to any queries. The flat is spotless and well equipped. Will no doubt stay again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was very private, quiet and safe. It was easy to get to from the motorway without having to deal with city centre traffic. The bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to see the stars through the Velux window. above the bed.

The location is a bit tricky to find on its own, but the clear instructions make it really easy to find. Lovely place to stay. The accommodation is quite compact but it is very cost and has basically everything you need. Would love to visit again.

We have stayed at many locations all over the world, and this was one of the standouts. A lovely presented annexe with all that you could ever need need, with quality furnishings, a very comfy bed, ample space inside and parking right outside the annexe, waking up to the magnificant views from upstairs looking out over the fields was a real treat. Karen & Roger are just fantastic hosts, the welcome goodies where very well received especially the home made apple juice, and we very much enjoyed the apple orchard and Cider Shed tour. Roger is the most genuine host, who is willing to share his knowledge and passion on all things cider, it made for a most memorable stay in Wiltshire, we cannot reccomend Bromham Cider Farm enough. a most fantastic stay.

Second time staying at Donna's you don't go back another time if you're not happy! Everything you need a short stay and really lovely extras much appreciated. Will hopefully stay again soon.
