We had a great stay in this lovely property. We were provided with everything we could ever need for our short stay. Lovely homely decor, a large sunny enclosed garden (which was great for our dog). comfy couches and beds and a lovely welcome pack. This is probably the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in and we would definitely book again. The wood fired hot tub was also a massive bonus as was the wood burning fire in the lounge. Amy was really responsive to any communications and was a great host.

We had a lovely stay at Pilgrim Cottage. Cosy, easy to find, and squeaky clean! We didn’t use the hot tub as we were out for most of the day, but it is a beautiful set up and it was a shame not to have had time to give it a go. The beds were really comfy and we so slept well with it being so quiet. Overall, we would recommend and thank you Sam for being so communicative ☺️

My four-day stay in a beautiful and quiet cottage with a jacuzzi was a true feast for the senses and a perfect way to escape from everyday life. Right from the start, when I arrived at the cottage, I was welcomed by a picturesque landscape and the lovely owner, Suzy, who gave us a tour of the house. One of the biggest advantages of this place was the jacuzzi. After a long day spent exploring the area, relaxing in the warm water was a true luxury. I will definitely return in the future! 👍

We have just stayed at The Coach House and it was the absolute perfect getaway. The surroundings are stunning, such a picturesque area and beautiful and quiet. The garden area was amazing for our son to run around in and Steph and Marcus even allowed our son to play on a toy tractor I believe was one of their children’s, which he absolutely loved. The property was great, beautiful and rustic throughout but with beautiful modern touches, the bathroom was especially nice. Sun beaming through the window whilst getting ready in a morning was particularly nice. The hot tub was immaculate and clean and instructions were simple to follow, hosts had all of the wood prepared and ready for use aswell. Overall this has been one of my favourite stays. My family loved it and felt right at home. We went to Snowdon one day and Chester Zoo another, both within a short enough distance and the drive to Snowdon is particularly stunning. 10/10

If you would like to get away someplace private and peaceful and just to relax I couldn’t recommend this more! It’s a lovely place and just amazing. Plenty to do nearby and just a great time!

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

Fantastic stay! Derek & Kath were amazing hosts, making us feel very much at home whilst also being in privacy. Beautiful home and surroundings, a real treat to stay somewhere with such a special feel. We would definitely recommend and most definitely return. Worth noting also we took our dogs and they too were made to feel part of the family. Lovely memories made 💞

Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay at the stables! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy and with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. Communication with the host was seamless—they were friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Robert’s was a real ‘home from home’ (sorry for the cliche but it was). We felt right at home in a cute, pristine and peaceful setting that had everything you’d ever need. The beautiful courtyard garden at the rear was right on the towpath but still peaceful to sit out and have breakfast while we watched the world go by slowly - after we’d all slept so, so well. The cottage is also really convenient for Chester which we visited on the Saturday and we were really impressed with the huge variety of shops and restaurants. So we ran out of time for the walkable pubs near the cottage, but appreciated the recommendations and really clear instructions anyway! Thanks Robert for sharing your home and a wonderful stay!

Just back from a lovely midweek break at Melsmere. What a fabulous property! We loved everything from the cottage layout and everything provided is really well thought out. Everything was spotlessly clean, I found the bed very comfortable. We spent alot of time in the gorgoeus garden next to the lake, it is the perfect place to relax. We found the rail crossing very straightforward and not an issue at all. Greg and lucy were brilliant at communcating and very helpful and accommodating, lovely hosts. There are local shops within walking distance and a 10 minute walk to the train station got us to liverpool in twenty minutes. Thank you both!

Just had an amazing few days here. Incredible cottage, spotlessly clean and so comfortable with everything we needed and more. Lynne is an excellent host who thinks of everything and does all she can to ensure you feel welcomed and at home. This was the perfect place for us to gather as a family to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. It was so relaxing and peaceful and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. Can’t recommend this place enough and we would absolutely love to return for another visit. 5 star experience from booking through to the end of our stay. Just loved it!

We’ve just finished a three night midweek break in Rod’s lovely cottage and had a great time experiencing Chesters history including some great old pubs (thanks for the recommendations Rod). The cottage is ideally located in a quiet courtyard. Turn right and approx 300 yards you’re at the city wall and the river Dee for boat trips, pubs and restaurants. Turn left and you are into the city centre. The cottage is well equipped and clean and two good sized double bedrooms. Rod was really helpful on the run up to the stay with really useful info including car parking etc, and the welcome gift of fruit milk and coffee etc was greatly appreciated. Very dog friendly with a grassed area out of the back yard, and we found decent dog walks over the river. Will definitely come again and recommend to mates.

A beautiful find! We stayed for the weekend for a local wedding and the place felt just like home. Really cosy but spacious, very clean and tidy too. Easy to find with the directions, parking easy and super peaceful! Can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Gemma was extremely helpful from start to finish. Her recommendations of places to eat were a massive hit. The house is spotless and cosy. The location is extremely peaceful and calming and we look forward to returning to the cottage in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Rachel’s house. Rachel was super responsive and helpful prior to check in and throughout our stay. The home was tidy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. Also a very comfortable bed! The house is really convenient for strolling into Clitheroe.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in a great location for visiting lots of places. It was incredibly clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Gaby was extremely kind and accommodating for our 8 month old daughter. I would highly recommend this air bnb for a family with a baby and would definitely return when back in the area!

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

This is our third stay at Emma's place and we always love it and the village with our dogs. looking forward to coming back if she'll have us!
