Great place, excellent location. The house has a ton of options for hanging out (fire pit, living room, etc) and a great kitchen.

Great for a short visit with our two kids. About a 15 minute walk to most activities in town. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable!

This place is an incredible place to stay in Marfa. Close enough to town to ride your bike in (10 min bike ride to downtown) but far enough out that the stars were on full display- something you just can’t get when you’re in town. The house is exactly as described- spacious, comfortable, stylish, clean and plenty of space. We will definitely return!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

Only stayed for a night but was a very relaxing and comfortable welcome after camping for a few nights!

Diane's home is beautiful, private, and so peaceful, yet so close to the centre of Marfa. It is one of the few houses with unobstructed views of the sunset over the desert every evening...seeing it is quite magical. Inside is wonderful too...airy, comfortable, and lovely interior design. A great place from which to explore during the day, and then unwind in the evening. Thanks again Diane for having us, it was a real treat! :)

Charming home with a wonderful ambiance and vibe. We absolutely loved staying at The Alamo House and plan to visit it again on our next trip to Marfa.

We rented the entire property and every square inch is well thought out and beautifully designed. Each apartment feels separate, but there was plenty of space to gather in the larger unit with the pool. The location is central and walkable to all areas of Marfa. A starchitect designed this and it shows.

We had a delightful stay at Calle Ocho. Annette is a gracious host. Very helpful and always quick to respond. The house is blocks from the heart of Alpine and is delightfully updated and comfortable. There are plenty of plugs for charging devices and the Wi-Fi is strong. The fully furnished kitchen and laundry area helped us feel right at home. We hope to stay here again next time we visit the Big Bend!

The Retro House is an awesome place to have a workcation. My job brings me to this area a few times a year. Stayed here for a week and was worth every penny.

Carolina was a great host for my family staying in Marfa for a wedding. We loved the space in the house!

Karen’s home was absolutely wonderful for our family stay. It looks just like the photos, it is thoughtfully appointed, and was a great homebase for our West Texas explorations. We had our two young children with us and the house worked super well for our family. Also, Karen is one of the most responsive and kind hosts I’ve encountered. We will be back to stay again if it’s not booked up!

The house has a ton of charm and was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the projector screen downstairs - fun for something different. The lights took some guess work, but part of the charm!

Two families came together and used this space for our home base while exploring Marfa. House was very clean. Beds were very comfortable with plush bedding.

Have been wanting to make the trip to Marfa for over a decade, and finally did it. The Level 2 EV charger on site was a real plus for me, and before we arrived Kathryn was able to confirm that the charger was working, which really put me at ease. Everything was exactly like the pictures and having great local dining like the Water Stop and Bordo close by was a HUGE plus!

Wonderful accommodations in the small town of Alpine! The hosts have done an amazing job curating a peaceful and comfortable home away from home for travelers and adventurers! We loved the comfortable bed and leather couch! And the fenced back yard was perfect to lock our bikes and bike rack. Their attention to detail made our stay perfect!

What a lovely gem to call home base during our time around Fort Davis! The house is large and well laid out for a family with multiple rooms and tvs where you would want them. The kitchen is well equipped and comes with lots of coffee supplies. The house was spotless and a very welcome respite on our trip across west Texas. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Such a great space! Was a lot closer to the Main Street than I thought it was so that was a pleasant surprise. Kaci is a fantastic host! Really can’t ask for any better regarding the whole experience!

Cabana Marfa is a gem! Location is perfect for access to all the Marfa has to offer - very walkable and ideal location. The house is very charming with great artwork and style - plus a gorgeous backyard and patio. Beds are comfortable! Very kind host with lots of good recommendations. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Great location. Very clean. Really quiet at night. Some of the upgrades that make this place stand out are: real plants, touch lights in the bedrooms that have two outlets and two USB ports, nice luggage racks that include shoe racks. Parking isn’t an issue. There is nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. It even had an ice cream scoop. Responsive host. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Casa Hermosa is a single structure with two separate, cozy and comfortable suites - The two-bedroom Starlight Suite and the single living, kitchen, and bedroom King Suite. Each suite has a full bathroom and patio. It's cozy, comfortable, private, quiet and just a few blocks from downtown Fort Davis including the Courthouse and Blue Mountain Bar & Grill. We stayed in the Starlight Suite and enjoyed the view of the Davis Mountains with its intricate rock formations. Very dark at night for excellent stargazing. Gorgeous desert sunrise & sunsets. Nice thoughtful touch providing a multi-port charger in the living room for your devices. Matthew was friendly, response, and helpful providing us with flexible options on checkout. Will definitely visit again, and recommend to friends.

Wonderful place for two couples! The beds were very comfortable. Large kitchen. Across the street from two great restaurants. Rob was very responsive. Looking forward to staying there again in the near future!

We stayed at Laurie’s place during spring break. We have been to the area several times but wanted to stay within the town of Alpine this time. The location is perfect. We walked to get tacos one night at Maria’s which was about a 3 minute walk and to Line Thai which was maybe a 5 minute walk. Laurie’s place was just as described. I really enjoyed the beautiful big bathrooms and was happy with the smell of fresh sheets when we went to bed. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. The kitchen was awesome with the massive chef style stove that we used several times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much Laurie!

Great spot in Marfa. Walkable to town and super close to some great spots like Bordo, Big Sandy, and Sentinel.
