Jean’s place showed a lot of care and attention. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. We liked our stay there very much. I am sure Jean and Brenda put a lot of attention into making this apartment a welcoming oasis for their guests.

The Yucca suite is a spacious one bedroom near downtown Alpine. You can easily walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops from the house. There are also hiking trails just up the road at Sul Ross University. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment captures the spirit of Marfa perfectly. I had a fun time exploring all of the quirky details in and around the apartment. It's just far enough to feel private and isolated, but close enough to feel "in town." The bed was super comfortable and I loved the linens and pillows. I enjoyed the locally roasted coffee, too! It was a perfect last-minute stop after staying in Big Bend.

From the beginning I knew Karen and I were just a good fit! Her Airbnb is a MUST whether you are passing through Alpine or looking for a nice , cozy place to stay near Big Bend! Her place is CLEAN, super cozy, it has lots of useful information!, covered parking, laundry room! Definitely worth it! Less then 5min to the super market and this amazing place called The Ritchie !

Great weekend getaway!

Easy peasy. No complaints. Appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with oils, salt, pepper, knives that actually cut things and all the expected implements.

This is our 4th time staying at the cottages. We take our anniversary trip here almost annually! It’s a very special place for us. Feels like a home away from home. Great vibes, great location. I love it there!

This was as good as it gets for me for an Airbnb stay. I absolutely loved the unit and the neighborhood. Kiowa was super helpful and has created a cozy space. I hope to stay there again during future visits.

Great for a short visit with our two kids. About a 15 minute walk to most activities in town. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable!

Terry's Airbnb is super cute and looks just like the photos! The only negative was that the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely come back again!

The Retro House is an awesome place to have a workcation. My job brings me to this area a few times a year. Stayed here for a week and was worth every penny.

Beautiful views. Great for bird watching and relaxing on the porch. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was good because we made food “at home” several times since there aren’t many restaurants in town and they aren’t always open. Make sure to check out the star party at the Marathon Motel just next door. You’ll need a reservation. Easy access to Big Bend Park, and also to the town of Alpine, which has more restaurants and a bigger grocery store.

I loved the place. Stargazing in the area is always a must! We enjoyed the deer sightings in the morning as well as the geode hunting on the property! This is a great location for the Alpine area.

This home was a lovely experience for our family, and we were grateful to have been able to stay. It is such a beautiful little set-up in a quiet part of Marfa, with a private courtyard and cool roof deck for stargazing. It feels homey and the kitchen is well-stocked with equipment and basic spices, which we really appreciate with young-ish kids, as we tend to find it easier to eat in. We stayed for four nights and used this as our home base not just for seeing Marfa (it’s a less-than-5-minute drive to most things in Marfa) but also for trips to the McDonald Observatory, the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, and Davis Mountains State Park (then we ended our trip in Big Bend). Absolutely recommend this home.

This rental was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Great place for a reasonable price.
