The view was exactly what we wanted. we chose to visit at a time of year that we obviously didn't get to enjoy to much of the outdoor but the stone patio was really nice on the day the weather cooperated. Lots of nice little touches within the home to provide whatever you might need during your stay. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short for a family emergency so I didn't get to use thetub like I'd hoped, but it looked very inviting. Please note, if you struggle with stairs this may not be the fit for you though, lots of stairs due to the location on the dunes.

The house was great and as pictured. The ceilings were low but it was not an issue for my family. There was plenty of wood for the indoor fireplace and the fire pit outside. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to have a fire outside. The beds were very comfortable. They also put up a Christmas tree for our stay which was above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place! The pictures don’t do it justice, the view is beautiful. Elaine and Peter were great hosts. This place was fully stocked, towels, linens, ziplock bags, paper towel, utensils, cooking stuff, you name it. Lots to do too, the beach is right there and they had paddle boards and kayaks to use. We travelled with two young kids and Elaine went above and beyond setting up the pack and play and high chair for us before we arrived. 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property boasts a stunning view and easy access to the water. The living space was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the private rear yard with its wonderful amenities, including a beautiful dock, BBQ, and patio area. It's also conveniently close to grocery stores. Brad and Kim were incredibly responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Very cute and cozy cottage right near the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cottage was very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was great with the beach just a short walk up and across the road. We loved walking up and down the beach and went a few times a day — our golden retriever was in heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to get away from the noise of the city for a few days.

This space was truly inviting and everything we had imagined— and then some! It came equipped with everything that you may need. We love this place as it’s within walking distance of the gorgeous beach, local cafes, restaurants and bars. Peaceful to sleep and cozy inside. Felt like a true beach house! Loved the movies, games and thoughtful items that were included. Loved the heated floors in the bathrooms and the large fireplace. Especially loved that our fur babies were welcome too! Many establishments in the Crystal Beach area are pet friendly! What a bonus! We shall definitely be back again :) Thank you so much for a memorable and comfortable weekend stay!

Our recent stay was an amazing experience! The home is beautiful, very clean and has every thing you can think of. The pool / backyard areas are second to none , makes you feel like you in a resort somewhere , truly beautiful! Host very responsive and communication was great ! The entire experience was 10/10 will definitely be going back

Best rental we’ve had at Sherkston. Super clean and cute space with a to die for view. We loved it!

It is wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. The beach is connected to the backyard of cottage. Shores is visible from living room. The place get lots of sunshine around the day. The host also provides a golf cart to explore the beach which is very helpful.

We had a great time here! We used this Airbnb as a made for exploring Niagara falls and Niagara by the lake. We really liked having the golf cart to be able to drive around the area and overall we just had a really good stay here. As someone else mentioned, the hot water ran out pretty quickly as we have six people taking a shower every night. After we ran out of hot water the first night we simply decided to take shorter showers and then we didn't have a problem afterwards. The house is well stocked and has a very nice Weber bbq which I was very thankful for.

Teri was extremely helpful and quick to respond. The place was beautiful and we hope to come back and enjoy it in the summer as well!

We had a delightful time at Bryan and Katie's place! The experience was fantastic, and we were especially impressed by the stunning views and the incredibly comfy king bed! We even managed to capture some great photos of a bald eagle, thanks for the tip, Bryan! 😃 Bryan and Katie were very responsive throughout our stay and provided helpful tips and directions, which made our experience even better. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement that I'd like to mention. First, the upstairs floors raised some safety concerns due to exposed nails and large gaps between the floorboards. Adding a rug could help make the space feel safer and more comfortable for guests. Additionally, we experienced an issue with the refrigerator, which stopped working the day before our check-out date. This was a minor inconvenience, but we appreciate how Bryan and Katie are handling the situation. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend their place for a fun spa experience.

Jamie’s place was excellent for our family of four. We had a great time and visited all of the Niagara Falls activities, while having a nice retreat in the evening. We visited mid-October, so it was bit chilly to take advantage of all the amenities available during warmer months. But it was nice to visit off-season because it wasn’t busy. Walks on the beach and the playgrounds were wonderful. The shop on site was convenient. Jamie’s place has all you need for a relaxed stay.

Tasha is a great host with an amazing property in a perfect location. We had an amazing time and our family was sad to leave.

Kaitlyn sent a very detailed message prior to our check in with exact details on how to find the home, how to check in to the home and wifi details. Upon arrival we had zero issues checking in. The home itself is BEAUTIFUL. Everything is updated and cozy. The view is awesome! Everything was clean and organized. This was the most well-stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It had EVERYTHING you could need! The neighborhood felt very safe and was very quiet. My children loved the toys/board games. We spent a lot of time just relaxing at the property and in the hot tub. It was not far from Niagara Falls and made for a great spot to stay in order to visit the falls as well as other scenic areas. We ate at Bandanas twice which was yummy. If you need a grocery store, I recommend Tops and if you need a nearby area with shops and restaurants, I recommend Lewiston. The checkout was also easy! Overall, we had a great time and have zero complaints! 10 out of 10! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse! The location is perfect, right on the beach at Lake Erie, where our child had endless fun playing. We all enjoyed kayaking on the lake—it was such a peaceful experience. The guesthouse itself is clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The nearby restaurant serves delicious food, and the proximity to Buffalo allowed us to explore the museum and science center, making it a fun trip for the whole family. Ross and Belinda were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to our overall fantastic experience. We can't wait to come back!

I cannot say enough about what a lovely experience I had at Mary Kay's M&M Lakeshore Retreat. I went for a week to rest, read and relax and it was absolutely lovely and so peaceful. There are many options of things to do, or do nothing at all - truly wonderful. The spot is beautiful, so inviting and so tastefully decorated with wonderful amenities and little surprises. I cannot wait to go back again for another visit! Thanks Mary Kay for being such a wonderful host!

This is our favorite place to visit yearly!! The cabin is original, quaint and adorably decorated. We love all of the original features but it’s the property, location and view that will draw us back every single year!! There is nowhere like this locally that is rentable. We enjoyed our coffee by a morning fire while listening to the waves, took a short walk to our completely private beach with our dogs and spent the day looking for sea glass. The evenings were spent playing with our dogs on the large property, a nice dinner and watching the amazing sunset. We also built a fire in the evening and stared at the millions of stars in the sky while again listening to the peaceful waves. The beds were comfortable and the lighting made for a cozy feel watching some tv before bed. Really there are no words to express this place and Alexis who is just phenomenal, she is so pleasant, responsive and helpful!! You just have to see it to believe a place like this exists!! Our dogs loved it as well

A very special place and people. This is one of a number cottages on 14 acres with private beachfront, community field/tennis court and countless water or land activities. Dense tree foliage surrounding the cottages lets you decide whether you would like some time to relax or socialize with the rest of the families. Deonna and Scott pride themselves in creating a fun and safe environment for kids, adults and dogs alike in this community. Both grew up in the area and live on-site with their 2 kids, always ready to provide recommendations for restaurants, shopping, farmer markets or day trips should you need a change from the on-site options. Cottage 4 has been remodeled and equipped with modern features like Central Heat/AC & Dishwasher and equipped with all we needed for our stay. It features a glass enclosed porch and a large open deck offering great views of the beach and lake while providing privacy with the large trees. From the master bed you can take in the beach through large glass doors or gaze at stars through the skylights. The Main bathroom boasts a cast iron bathtub to unwind after long day (not suitable for everyday showering). It offers bright living area and plenty of room for the kids and parents to spread out. The kids enjoyed the freedom to roam, make new friends, play at the beach or fields. Our dogs loved it probably more than anyone else! We enjoyed our time so much that we extended our stay twice, experiencing different cottages. Thank you Deonna & Scott for allowing us to join the Sugarloaf family and enjoy this new experience for us.

I would highly recommend this location. We stayed in the winter and it was a dream but I can only imagine how nice it is in the summer. The host is very considerate and professional. We hope to be back! Right on the water in a beautiful neighbourhood. Unbeatable view of the lake even from inside the cottage.

Lovely well appointed home. Great special touches. Outstanding appliances and Weber grill. Lake path very steep. Could be challenging for elder people. Beach was nice. Close to stores, etc. Quiet at night. Support host very nice. The area lost power on morning of departure and she made sure we were notified and aware of what was happening. Most appreciated.
