We stayed here two nights, on either side of our trip to Big Bend. My friends and I loved the place and the experience.

Diane's home is beautiful, private, and so peaceful, yet so close to the centre of Marfa. It is one of the few houses with unobstructed views of the sunset over the desert every evening...seeing it is quite magical. Inside is wonderful too...airy, comfortable, and lovely interior design. A great place from which to explore during the day, and then unwind in the evening. Thanks again Diane for having us, it was a real treat! :)

A beautiful space to stay in Marfa with nicely curated furnishings, books and kitchenware. We appreciated so much the ability to walk everywhere - we never used our car during our stay!

Great place, exactly as described

This place is an incredible place to stay in Marfa. Close enough to town to ride your bike in (10 min bike ride to downtown) but far enough out that the stars were on full display- something you just can’t get when you’re in town. The house is exactly as described- spacious, comfortable, stylish, clean and plenty of space. We will definitely return!

We just wanted to say how much we loved staying in your beautiful home. It was spacious, and the setup for younger kids was perfect. The back porch with the fire pit and lights was a wonderful touch – we didn’t make a fire, but it was nice to have the option. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. A couple of small things to mention: the beds were a bit firm for my husband and his brother, who both have back issues, and we had to clean the tub before giving our toddler a bath. Also, my husband wished there was a pizza cutter in the kitchen. Despite these minor things, your home truly felt like a place we could relax, and we’ll always remember our time there. Thank you for sharing it with us

We had an issue with the grill while we were staying there and Robert had it fixed the very same day. We had everything we needed at this home and made wonderful family memories!!

Perfect spot for your stay in Marfa. Everything you need in the best location. Great host and great place!

We had a great stay. The home is clean, well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the beds were comfortable. It's an easy walk to the Chinati foundation. It's a few minute drive into town. You could walk, but it's about 30 minutes. Wonderful dark skys for star watching.

Thank you for opening your home to us! Only suggestion.. a few more towels if we decide to take multiple showers the same day. But overall had a wonderful stay!

We received a warm welcome from Ingrid when we arrived. Walking in the Spirit Room is a bit like walking into a museum - every object seems to have a story to tell! The neighbourhood is very quiet and it's a fantastic spot for watching the stars.

Our family loved staying in this home. The house lives up to the pictures and the description. It was so cute and full of character. The area is walkable and right near the downtown Marfa action. Our family had a great time.

The Retro House is an awesome place to have a workcation. My job brings me to this area a few times a year. Stayed here for a week and was worth every penny.

The house has a ton of charm and was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the projector screen downstairs - fun for something different. The lights took some guess work, but part of the charm!

The decor was fabulous. Loved the modern construction and the mix of art and Mexican decorations. Highly recommend this stay.

Marci's house is a great place to stay if you're heading to Big Bend National Park -- it's about a 45-minute drive from the home to the main gate. And what a cool home this is! It felt like hanging out at a cool friend's house, and we greatly enjoyed the chairs set up outside facing the mountains (and really pretty sunsets). Amenities are a little sparse and this is a home that has been well lived in, but everything is clean and full of character. At the price, it's a great value. We'd love to come back and visit again!

Casa Acero was a great place for us to stay for a wedding in Marathon, Texas. We were 30 minutes from the venue, and also close to Marfa and other local sites to visit. The place was very clean and had everything possible you could think of needing! I loved the "provisions" cabinet and the various condiments in the fridge. Finding the place was easy, as was getting in and out. The recommendations were spot-on - we loved Smokehouse BBQ! We would love to come back and explore the are more!
