The Rose cottage was really my first experience with an Air B&B anywhere let alone Ireland, so I was guarded in my expectations. The cottage was superlative in almost every regard. Great kitchen, bedrooms are private and well-appointed and separate baths for myself and my son. And as I am finding in my travels through Ireland, the internet service was reliable and robust. Richard is an amiable and gregarious host that provided me with invaluable guidance and insights to the local area as I am looking for a house to buy here. He is the Sherpa guide to that area of the country. Staying here gave me a sense of the deep history associated with the location from the 600 year old castle to which the cottage attached even to the Game of Throne decorative swords on the walls. The neighbors that also reside there are friendly and outgoing and will engage in spirited conversations over a cup of tea. The only downside comment I could offer is that the sheep seemed a little nervous

Stayed here for 2 night with family and had to say the place went above our expectations, toys for kids, cooking utensils and just a very homely place. The projector tv was a hit with us all. Would highly recommend. Neal and Ann were highly responsive when I messaged them regarding queries. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

We had such a wonderful time here with our 1yo and 3yo daughters. When we arrived the following day was St.Patrick’s Day and Mairéad had left us two Guinnesses in the fridge and two shamrock headbands for the girls. We had a flat tire so John and Mairéad helped by getting us a pump from a neighbor and gave us a local tire shop in town we could go to. The property is gorgeous! A 5th generation farm with all the animals right outside our window! It was like an Irish dream! But don’t worry the animals weren’t noisy enough to wake you up. The beach just a short walk down the road was a huge hit with the girls! The house was just what we needed for a lovely stay! We will be back!

Everything was perfect. The welcome gift was such a nice surprise. The cabin had everything we needed. It was absolutely spotless and so private and comfortable. We parked the car and didn’t leave until we checked out. Highly recommend Caroline’s cabin!!

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

We loved our stay at Michelle's. It was our first time going away with our new baby and Michelle couldn't do enough for us. The cabin was also ideally located between Duncannon and Fethard so a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Can't fault Michelle and her property, 100% recommend.

Needed a place to stay for some local work. This place is fairly well secluded, so isn’t surrounded by a lot to do, plus it was out of season. I had a great time and found it to be like a fun home from home. I would highly recommend staying here and will probably look into that, when next over.

Michelle's place is great, everything was lovely and we had an amazing stay. The house is comfortable, very clean and has everything you need. Hot tub is a great addition after a long day of nature walks! Easy check in process and clear instructions. We really enjoyed our time!

We had such a lovely stay at Alan's place! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunset felt truly magical. Our daughter had the best time chasing and hugging Arthur, Alan’s adorable and friendly cat. She also loved visiting Alan’s goat and chickens. We even got to see the neighbor’s sheep, lambs, and cows, such a fun experience! We really enjoyed walking by the river and exploring the huge garden, it was so peaceful. The apartment itself was super cozy, warm, well-furnished, and spotless. A special shoutout for the fresh farm eggs; they tasted incredible, so much better than store-bought ones! Alan was an amazing host, very responsive, kind, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back soon! Valentina, Fabrizio, Daphne
