Fournes-Cabardès : locations de vacances

WOW! this was a brilliant place for our vacation. I hate to say this place is amazing cause then everyone will go and I wont be able to go back haha but I have to be completely honest, it was the best place ever. Caroline was generous, kind, and caring. If you stay there you will not regret it. We booked last minute on Dec. 23 just before Christmas, and Caroline opened the home to us with open arms, and even did all the Christmas decorations! She generously gave us vegetables from her garden (delicious) and the animals were great for our daughter. Dont walk, run and book your next vacation here. Thanks Caroline!! We will be back!

La maison est spacieuse, le jardin est magnifique, la piscine grande. L'accueil par Rémi et son épouse était chaleureux. Rémi est très réactif, la communication se passe très bien. En plus d'être une super location, la région est superbe. Plusieurs plages à environ 30min, possibilité de voile et planche à voile sur différents lacs. Tout ce qui faut pour de superbes vacances !

We loved our stay at the house. It had all that we needed for a comfortable visit for a family. The house has been sympathetically restored and the gardens are also very pretty. We had great weather during our stay so we could enjoy the garden, pool house and table tennis. The walks around the area are to be recommended, with helpful maps at the house for different routes. Also a visit to the wine cave next door. A wonderful place to stay. We hope to return again soon :)

The house is very well kept, clean and well-equipped. The swimming pool was in great condition and our kid really enjoyed it. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our old dog to inspect and find places to nap at. The house is located in an extremely quiet neighborhood, and a very short walk to many km of trails for running or hiking. It's also located about a 15-minute drive from grocery stores, but it's just a matter of planning ahead. My only upgrade advice would be either mosquito nets on windows or ceiling fans, to make it more comfortable indoors on very hot days (especially at night). Thanks!!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le logement en lui-même possède tous les équipements nécessaires et est très agréable. De plus la grange est géniale pour se reposer, ou profiter d'une partie de fléchettes ou de ping pong.

Lydia was niet aanwezig, dit was echter geen probleem. We zijn verwelkomd door een jongeman genaamd Anthony, erg aardig en enthousiast, heeft enige tips voor activiteiten in de regio. Alleen Anthony sprak niet erg goed Engels. Verder hebben wij ons erg vermaakt in de villa, en een hele fijne vakantie gehad. De villa is erg mooi, modern en netjes. Als enige tip zou ik kunnen benoemen dat een extra ventilator geen slecht idee zou zijn, er zijn 4 ventilators aanwezig voor 5 slaapkamers. Door de warmte is het onaangenaam om s’ nachts te slapen. Enfin: een enorm prettige week genoten van de prachtige villa. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig. De villa komt met een goede prijs. Ik zou het zeker aanraden!

maison conforme à la description, super si vous êtes avec des petits car il y a a disposition des jouets pour enfants, mon fils était ravi! piscine propre malgré le soleil fuyant nous avons quand-même pu en profiter un peu elle était a 29!!! je recommande vivement la maison merci beaucoup ⭐

We had a wonderful family holiday. The accommodation is exactly as described, spacious, beautifully clean, a cosy interior, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous outdoor areas, amazing pool. The house is off the beaten track a few km drive down in a beautiful, lush valley and feels very private. The night sky is just amazing and we also saw lots of local wildlife. The pool is large, spotless and warms up nicely through the day. The outdoor space is beautifully designed with plenty of secluded corners but equally lots of open terraces, great for a mixed family group. Each house is quite private with its own outdoor eating/bbq area and shared use of pool and tennis court. We found the local area really lovely for short walks (too hot for a longer hike!), good local food and for spectacular scenic drives in all directions. Albi and Gaillac are really lovely. The arifat waterfall was a great trip and an adventure for kids. The local small village has a good bakery, a bank, a bar and supermarket. Finally, Rachel was a really warm, welcoming host. She was really easy to get hold of before the stay, and super helpful during. Highly recommend!
