We stayed at the Cozy Green Cottage over the Thanksgiving holiday week. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin to get away to and this spot was perfect. I worked remote for the first half of the week and had no problem with her internet connection. We were able to do Zoom calls as well as stream movies. The cottage is super charming. It's over 100 years old and has many hand crafted details. Kitchen is small but totally functional for 2 people. Bathroom has a claw-foot tub with hand-held shower head. The grounds around the cabin are serene. This cabin is behind private homes but since this was off-season, no one was around. It is a short walk to the stairs that take you to Lake Michigan. We opted to drive down the road to a public access area right on the lake. Also very convenient. If you are looking to get away from the everyday buzz of life or need a no-distractions, quiet space to get a project finished, I recommend this cottage!

The cottage is located on a beautiful property, wooded, with an inviting set of garden plots and farm fields. The owner is extremely kind and gracious. Added bonuses were the chickens roaming about and the small goat herd adjoining. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, impeccably maintained, and private. You can tell immediately the care these people put into their guests' experiences. My son and I went for a beautiful hike 5 minutes away, in Badfish Creek Wildlife area. Cannot think of a better experience or a more perfect place to let go and take in peace, rural beauty and restorative tranquility.

We had a fantastic stay! The space was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with thoughtful extras that made traveling even easier. The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the fenced-in yard, which was perfect for our dog. We truly appreciated all the little details that made this stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The Rectory felt like an OG air bnb —quirky, thoughtful touches, stellar location, plenty of space for my kids to spread out and veg post holiday while my husband and I visited with friends in the city. Notables are: easy street parking, lots of storage and hooks for hanging coats/winter gear, adjacent private basketball court, super easy check in and check out (no crazy list of to-do’s upon leaving) My husband and I are also highly-rated bnb hosts and we have largely reverted to staying in boutique hotels but we would 10/10 stay at The Rectory again! Thank you for a great stay.

Look no further. The Carriage House is exceptional… a comfortable space with artifacts harkening back to its origins. The Gardens are spectacular… winding pathways, fountains, benches, pools, statuary. Peace, tranquility, and serenity abound. Steve is a wealth of information and willingly engages with guests. Staying at Sanger House Gardens is reason enough to come to Milwaukee!

It felt great staying at this place. I think the water boiler was not quite functional during our stay, but they immediately offered a solution. We personally felt that we were okay with semi warm shower and did not want the owner to come in to fix the issue, but that's just us. Can't blame the owner for a broken water boiler. Overall, a great place for a great price.

This place was stocked with anything you may have forgotten. She left us some home made muffins. The place was clean and perfect for us. It was between downtown Plymouth and Culver so lot’s to do and restaurants. Brought our dogs. It worked out well. I will definitely stay again

It feels as if someone very special was loved and cared for here. Your property is gorgeous, so peaceful in the snow. I’d love to return in fall and see the pond. All of the extras inside, the fabulous record collection, the warming fireplace, the well chosen furnishings and decor that are not overdone, make this feel like home. The games in the closet, the nice shower, lovely scents, ample coffee, the views, all made for a pleasant stay. God has blessed you and us and everyone who visits. Thank you for sharing and caring for this beautiful spot. I’ll be back to see that garden when it’s green.

Carol & Dave are wonderful hosts! I enjoy visiting Chicago, but love that I can disconnect. This little oasis has become my place of tranquility and peace. Carol & Dave have created the perfect, cozy retreat. It's the little things they do such as the personalized Welcome sign, the robes, the heat or ac being on, remembering I like 1/2 & 1/2 for my coffee, leaving snacks like kind bars , a freshly baked coffee cake to make our stay that much more homey & pleasant, to checking in to see if we need anything. I can't express how truly wonderful they are. You need to experience their wonderful hospitality to truly appreciate what amazing hosts they are! I'm looking forward to my next stay in 2025. The location was perfect. Jury steps from Wheaton college. We stayed here during the Wheaton College Christmas Festival which we were able to walk to. Angel’s place was clean, had a Keurig with different choices, and filtered water. We had everything we needed for a short overnight stay. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our second time booking this property which ended up being a longer stay. Kelly and George are great hosts who were attentive and easy to communicate with. The place is very comfortable, very clean, very quiet and has everything you need for both a short term and long term stay. It’s within walking distance of the charming downtown area with great restaurants, cute boutiques, a gourmet market and coffee houses. I highly recommend booking this place if ever in the Valpo area!

Elena and her husband are such a kind and attentive couple. Even with the hiccups we did have, they were very quick to respond and resolve the issues. It is so peaceful to wake up to the birds and bask in the sounds of the night under the stars. The dome was perfect to sit and play card games with our babies and the hot tub was just enough to satisfy our kiddos. My husband and I kept the sliding door to our bedroom cracked so we could be lulled to sleep by the beautiful sounds of nature you’ll experience here. The spring peepers sing a constant melody throughout the night and the birds are the perfect alarm to start your day. The only thing we wish we could’ve done is enjoy a fire under the stars and kayak. The weather just didn’t allow for it during our short stay. On Sunday we were delighted with fresh pastries from the local bakery from Elena and her husband. They really take servanthood to the next level which was so needed while we were there. We would definitely return.

We loved the location. It was a short bike ride from the express ferry from Milwaukee and a 2 block walk to the beach, with a restaurant with live entertainment and impressive lake views. It was quiet, and clean and we appreciated not having to bring our own coffee supplies. We highly recommend it if you're planning to visit the area.

The spot was perfect and exactly what I wanted for my stay in Evanston. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and very walkable. There's restaurants, grocery options and the lake all within a short walk, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. There are lots of people walking dogs or running, even at night. The keypad for entry was finicky and required patience, but it was functional and nice not to have to worry about a key. Linens were great, shower was hot. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Second time staying at this Airbnb in Berrien Springs, and it was a great escape from the city! Clean interior and king size bed were fantastic. It rained, so we didn't get to kayak, but it's great that we had the option. Would return again for a third time some day!

Bro’s Place is a great getaway if you’re looking to spend time at Indiana Dunes or any of the surrounding Lake Michigan beaches. Being 10 minutes from downtown Chesterton and 15 minutes from the dunes, the location was close enough to the action while also feeling tucked away. The home itself is well decorated and themed, with lots of farm and beach imagery. It felt very cozy and perfectly furnished given its location. The sheep and chickens on the property were adorable, and getting to feed them every day was a treat. The neighbor’s dog was also super friendly. Rebecca and Tony are friendly and responsive hosts, respecting our privacy while also being hospitable. One morning, they left us fresh eggs outside our door, which we appreciated. They clearly cared about our experience and wanted us to feel at home. I’d happily return to Bro’s Place. It was a great stay and worth every penny.

Julia’s stay made our first trip with the dogs so easy and peaceful!! It was great having the stake already for them for potty time! Very cozy, nice stay :)

Blake and Lindy place was absolutely ideal for our needs! We planned a food trip that included a mix of places reachable by public transit and by car. The fact that it included a parking spot and was within easy walking distance from the Austin El station was fantastic! Very comfortable, very quiet place to sleep and recuperate. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Marcus's place. The space was very comfortable and just a great place to relax that felt like home. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The heating system kept the place cozy and warm even on some very cold days. It was super convenient to have a washer and dryer since we stayed longer than a week. We will definitely check if Marcus's place is available the next time we are in Lake Forest. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great place to visit with kids. Lot of space and friendly owners. Horse riding farm close to house. We did watch horses, pets, pigs every day. Kids playground in a farm. Places is very quiet and peaceful. All that you need is inside.
