Wow, what a beautiful cabin. We had 2 couples staying in the cabin for the weekend with plenty of room. I ask the owners if they had a banner for a birthday🤗. We were celebrating my best friend’s 60th birthday. We went to the Arc encounter which was very close and had dinner reservations in Cincinnati on a dinner train. Anjanette went above and beyond to hang balloons and a banner. She was so thoughtful. We all had a wonderful time at the cabin and the hot tub was amazing. We would definitely recommend this cabin. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

This cabin was the perfect place for our family to celebrate the holidays together. The Christmas tree and decorations really added to our enjoyment. Keith and Leslie have taken the extra step to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. We were especially impressed at how well stocked the kitchen is. Keith and Leslie are such wonderful and accommodating hosts. We look forward to returning again (perhaps when the weather is warmer, I would really have enjoyed having coffee on the front porch or watching the sun set before bedtime)!

Such a beautiful place!! The property was so peaceful and well maintained. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for all 8 of us and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Thank you for the amazing stay!

This is my third time staying at Angie & Jay’s place. It’s beautiful, cozy, and very peaceful.

Beautiful setting. Loved the hot tub. The close restaurants are strip mall/chain, so if that’s not your style, plan to drive a little bit to eat out. The place is well stocked to eat in though! We made good use of the grill.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The view was outstanding and our kids had the best time playing on the huge lawn and exploring the property. They loved the kids room and playing arcade games! The property was private and very peaceful. The beds were very comfortable, the cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely come back!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

Wish the cell phone signal was more consistent, overall very nice place to stay. Would recommend to others

Group of eight stayed to tour the bourbon trail. Comfortable beds, well equipped spacious kitchen and dining area, relaxing environment. Highly recommend. 45 minutes or less to so many distilleries…..Heaven Hill, Four Roses, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, and many more.

This place is amazing! We visited for spring break, with two kids (12 and 9) and two adults. We wanted a place away from it all to relax and enjoy nature. This was it! From campfires to ping pong, we had a terrific time. Previously, we’ve stayed at the same place, which was sold. This is going to be a new go-to place! It’s incredibly clean (walk in your socks and still look clean!) with the most comfortable beds ever!! The tin room sounds amazing when it rains. The host was super responsive, replying back immediately when we had questions. The kitchen is fully equipped with great cast iron skillets and a legit coffee maker (we brought our own but didn’t need it). The washer and dryer worked great. The location felt very safe and secure. The cows were fun neighbors. We loved our stay so much, we booked our next visit while we were still there.

Really enjoyed our stay it’s so quiet and relaxing having the lake a few steps away it’s really nice. The house has a very welcoming feeling it’s great. Anytime we’re back in the area we will definitely plan to stay at Josie’s.

The cottage is great. Location is serene with babbling creek, private back yard for dogs, almost no traffic so it is quiet. Perfect setting for some down time with a back deck and a great fire ring setting. Host responded to texts quickly. This was our second visit, we’ll be back again.

Loved The River House!! My husband and I were in need of a little getaway, and this cabin was perfect. The views and outdoor seating areas were so relaxing. The weather was a bit chilly but sunny. The inside provided everything you need for relaxing. The fireplace was nice for the chilly nights. We cooked and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Loved the extra sofa in front of the window to enjoy that gorgeous view of the Kentucky River. There is a tv in the living room to stream your favorite shows. The historical bridge and trains were fun to watch. We didn’t mind the noise at all. Just be careful driving to the cabin because of the one lane road. Anna was an awesome host and very responsive.

The location was perfect, a small quaint town close to so many nice places to visit. The farm itself was beautiful, very friendly horses, dogs, and sheep. It was so peaceful. Even in March the farm was beautiful, we can't imagine how much nicer in the spring/summer! The cabin was bigger than we expected, it was perfect for our week stay. We had everything we needed plus a few bonuses, curtisy of our host. Jessica was so kind and helpful. She thought of things before we even thought to ask. The farm is right outside of town so a very short drive to anything you need, but seems its own oasis. Highly recommend this place. Excellent overall experience. Would definately come again!

My wife and I stayed a couple of days at the cabin at Christmas. Dominique was a great host - very helpful with recommendations and always responsive. The cabin is super cozy and had everything we needed. This is the place to come for quiet time, for sure. We appreciated the special personal touches that Dominique had in the cabin to make the stay even more memorable. We certainly recommend.

If ever in Louisville, you need to stay here. It was close to downtown with a 20 minute drive. The location was so peaceful, thoughtful, and decor was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. If you are picky about pillows bring your own. If you aren't picky then they are fine. The list of dining options nearby and downtown was very helpful. If I am ever back in Louisville I plan to stay here again. My husband and I were comfortable and relaxed on our get away. It is very peaceful. Their description of their guest house is very accurate. The stairs are steep but not an issue for my husband and I. If I could give them a 6 star review I would.

Alex’s place was exactly what we wanted for a weekend away! Close to all of the distilleries and far enough away for some peace and quiet. The house was cozy and a great place to relax after a day out. Would highly recommend staying here if looking for a spot to crash while checking out some of the great distilleries KY has to offer!

We absolutely loved staying at serenity cabin. The location was beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the cows and their calves. The house itself is so comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is between Richmond and Berea and close to everything you could need. We all loved it and hope to come back again.

Everything was so easy. Easy to find, check in with an easy code to remember, peaceful, warm, quiet. Our accommodations had everything we needed for a short day. Would definitely stay again. Kevin was extremely helpful and offered much help if we needed.

The place was great! We all enjoyed the stay, especially the Blackstone and scenic views. Susan was a friendly and responsive host that was ready to help in any way possible. Worth the reasonable price for the views and accommodations!

Wonderful visit to the farm. It's hard to believe how secluded the place feels just ten minutes from the city. We didn't have anyone staying next to us, but even if we did, it still would have felt pretty private. The house was exactly as described. There's no Wi-Fi and the cell service is spotty, but those were both pluses for me.
