It was perfect for our family and was close to the family that we travelled to visit!

We loved staying at Spencer's place! It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway and had everything we needed. It was probably the best stocked place we ever stayed in! From utensils, pots and pans, seasonings, to coffee and coffee creamer, it had everything. The big porch overlooking the river with the nice hot tub for those cool fall evenings couldn't have been better. If we had anything to say that wasn't 100%, the shower water doesn't stay hot, every 2-3 minutes it would get cold for 30 seconds and then get hot again. We adjusted once we figured out it might just be that way but we wanted to give people a heads up. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and will probably come back the next time we are in town. Thanks for everything!

The house is everything as stated in the listing. We brought some food to heat up for a couple dinners. Everything we needed was there. Upscale amenities. Enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy provided on the back porch. Maddy was responsive within 5 minutes of my questions. Great place for a long bourbon trail weekend. Glad we chose this one.

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and we plan on continuing to do so on our annual Kentucky trip.

This house was the perfect place for our anniversary getaway! It’s a short drive to Louisville so we were about to easily hop over there for activities. Kelly was super friendly and easy to communicate with, we will definitely rebook if we’re ever back in the area.

After the recent passing of my Mom, I needed a getaway to relax , unwind and clear my head . I wanted someplace cozy and private, surrounded by nature. I knew nothing of the area but was very pleased. So quite and relaxing. SUPER clean, very impressive, no details overlooked. While relaxing in the hot tub, you could hear an owl calling in the distance. Exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us.

The home was exactly as Jim posted. We received the information about the house in a timely manner. He answered every questions had. What made perfect for us was the little things they have in the house. Coffee/tea , number 1, shampoo/ conditioner, and soap. I know it seems silly but our daughter was getting married that weekend and I forgot to pack those items. Thank you for allowing us to share your home. Rachel Greathouse

Perfect spot for all things Kentucky! Golf, Bourbon Trails, and Fishing.

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation at Judith's cottage. She and her husband were very welcoming and super responsive. The cottage is centrally located to the heart of the Bourbon Trail. We also took our dogs on this vacation. While the weather didn't cooperate (think dogs and mud), Judith did everything possible to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to get away and unplug while sampling the Bourbon Trail.

We had the best stay by far in Bill and Gussie’s guest home. It was the nicest home on beautiful and safe property. There was plenty of room and it was very clean and comfortable. They provided us with all the comforts of home with snacks along with a variety of coffees , tea, milk, and water. We will definitely return to this charming home. Bill and Gussie were the perfect host.

Me and my friends came in for a golf trip and go to Keenland. We had the best time. We love the garage, outback. Short drive from everything you need to go to.

Robert was a great host! The property was just as described and with wonderful communication the check is was super easy! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway close to everything in the Bardstown area.

We stayed at the cottage last year also. Ut is just as listed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. It is a short drive to the Kentucky Horse Park We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Little House. It suited all of our needs and was in a great location. Bill provided excellent communication and instructions and was quick to respond to our messages. We appreciated the availability of drinks and snacks for a small price and enjoyed the welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived.

Great place to stay. Feel like you’re far away from town but it’s really not far. Very hilly terrain to get there but so beautiful.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and cozy; in fact, “cozy” was what our guests said about the cabin. Incidentally, we had somewhat of a small family reunion during our stay. We will definitely plan another trip. Thank you!

We loved this beautiful, clean, and fun place to stay! Angie was available to answer any and all of our questions. The snacks, toiletries and decor made this cottage very comfy with a touch of home. There were even fresh quail and regular eggs available! We really appreciated the speaker, jacuzzi and fire pit (firewood and starter kit were available on sight). Most places we visited were within a 30 thirty minute drive give or take. The bed was a little hard for us but others might prefer that. We would definitely stay here again! Perfect! The pictures do not do justice for this place. It was such a nice and cozy cottage. We felt so much at home. We were only about 12 minutes from town to go get dinner one night and a beautiful country drive there.. The rest of all the meals we cooked in the house and everything was there we needed. We did not want to even leave. We came down to visit the farm machinery show and tractor pull at the fairgrounds. It was a nice easy drive there. So nice to get out of the busy area to such a beautiful home and farm. We felt so safe. It rained the whole weekend, but enjoyed the cottage from the inside listening to the rain and thunder. Everything was so nice. We enjoyed looking through the books throughout the house. It was updated with new but still felt like you were in the original era of the house. I cant say enough how much we loved this place and can't wait to go back!

Beautiful cabin just as described and loved that it was dog friendly! Plenty of towels, kitchen necessities, and more. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. Angie And Jay were extremely responsive and very welcoming. While the location was private, it offered beautiful views and close enough to town and distilleries. We will definitely book again!

Meg goes above and beyond!!! Not only does she have the best view of the lake, the accommodations are impeccable from the screened in porch to the hot tub to the adorable kitchen and amazing sleeping accommodations!!! Every other cottage on Taylorsville pales in comparison!!! If you have not been, you need to check it out!!! There is a peacefulness and tranquillity that you immediately get as soon as you open the door to the #17.

This little cottage was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting around the table after our daytime adventures. Would definitely stay there again❤️

Loved the place. Loren was great to respond when I was booking. The house was perfect. We have stayed in the area before. Did have a problem with the hot water tank. She came up with a solution. Was able to finish our trip. thank you!

My family & I stayed in their beautiful farmhouse. We were there for my father’s funeral. The Cottage was PERFECT!! We were all able to stay there together. My nephew & wife brought their 4 month old & not only was there a high chair but a pack & play!! The farm animals were an added perk. It was so peaceful & we could all spread out. It made a sad occasion a little easier. We would DEFINITELY recommend this beautiful place while visiting Danville, Ky. Check in & out was seamless. Thank you for hosting us.
