Quaint and totally walkable spot. The unit is very put together, functional, and well-finished. Lot and across-the-street parking is excellent. Be ready to tote your stuff up a healthy flight of stairs. The nearby train is part of the experience, and we got used to it while sleeping really quickly. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and responsive. We will gladly return. We found the whole downtown Washington experience to be like a refreshing time portal to the 1990s. I suggest getting some Weds-Sun time into your trip to make sure that you have some days where all of the nearby businesses are open. For food the downstairs wine bar is great, and I think it's also worth the short trip to check out Taco Loco Express Mexican Grill.

We so enjoyed our stay! It was so clean! It was nicely decorated with a cottage feel of old. The grounds were taken care of with outside seating. We enjoyed the porch, as well. Charming is a word we spoke often during our stay!

What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We were thrilled to interact with the animals so freely and appreciated Cathy taking time to tell us the backstory of each of them. Cathy and Bert provided excellent hospitality and even went above and beyond with providing regular weather updates during a wild storm. We will definitely return.

Loved this little peace of heaven.. My sister and I stayed here for a much needed weekend away from KC and it was exactly what we needed! It was quiet, clean and peaceful!! Nathan was very responsive and provided great options for dining. We opted for IMO’s pizza in Washington and it was amazing!! We will definitely stay here again if/when we are ever in the area. Definitely recommend! Thanks Nathan!!

I stopped in Missouri for one night and stayed at the cottage. It was perfect. I wish I stayed longer! The kitchen was great, views were super cute, very clean and I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place! Loved all of the finishes and decor! Walked to shops restaurants and just a 2 min drive to Nobeleis

This was a great getaway for my self and three children from the Saint Louis area. There is tons of space, everyone got a room and the view off the balcony was amazing. I enjoyed the peace and quite watching the Merrimack run by below. It was close to many of the area tourist spots and we enjoyed Merrimack caverns and a hike in Onondaga State park. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful home in a private area with a killer view from the patio! Multiple bedrooms with clean linens and cool artwork throughout! She even left a nice little fruit plate. Very responsive and proactive in helping you find her gravel driveway. This is a spot in the woods, so there were some Asian Lady Beatles inside by the windows, which can be expected this time of year, but this is a gorgeous home away from home and I slept like a baby! 🙂
