Todd was very responsive and accommodating. The location of the cabins is a short drive to both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. There is a nice biking/running/walking trail close by. It was a true cabin experience, making it a memorable and unique holiday. We would stay there again.

Perfect little get away cabin tucked in the woods. Easy, walkable access to the lake with beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative from the start. Would love to stay here again!

Excellent stay. Great communication with host. Excellent location with all the comforts of home. Walking distance to so much downtown Lake Placid. We will be back. Thanks for a great trip!

Todds place was awesome, we had a great stay! Cute little cozy cabin with a fire pit in the backyard, perfect for a couples weekend away & a great location! About 10 minutes to lake placid and very close to stores / gas stations if needed

Bruce was an excellent host! He gave great recommendations and clear instructions. The driving directions were so good we were able to find the place in the dark lol. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed. The view in the morning was quite nice. The beds were warm and comfortable and the whole place was clean with more than enough towels and blankets. The only thing I'd note is that it's not entirely a true ski in/out experience. We were expecting to be able to ski right from the cabin door onto the hill (as per other ski in/out places we've rented) but if you did that, you'd end up skiing into a building (don't do that, haha) We had to carry our skis past a row of cabins and sheds to get to the hill where we were able to get on. I'd describe it as more of a slope-side cabin than ski in/out. It's not a big deal, still very convenient, just a bit different than described. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10, would recommend!

The cabin was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. It felt very rustic and was an enjoyable cabin stay. The area is beautiful, and the proximity to Lake Placid was very convenient. It was a short 2 minute walk to the corner gas station, which was well stocked and came in handy for quick drink and snack runs.

Very cool cottage at the edge of the forest in the midst of nature and yet close to facilities. We enjoyed a lot the accommodation.

Beautiful little cabin that was perfect! We came to the area for a weekend away for some hiking. Exactly what we needed! The cabin was tucked away in a little wooded area that was easy to get to! Everyone was super nice and informative! Exactly what we expected when we got there! Book this place for a simple stay away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!

My 7 year old children and I had a fantastic stay. We skied and played in the snow. The house could not have been cleaner or more organized. We had everything we needed and everything was easy to find. There was plenty of space for the 3 or us to relax when we weren’t outside. We were scheduled to begin our stay on a day when 15-22” of snow was predicted. They really went the extra mile and welcomed us to arrive before the storm. It really could not have been an easier stay. Thank you!

This home was the perfect getaway for our weekend of XC skiing. The house is tucked into the woods and our stay was very peaceful! When we drove up, the lights were on and the fire was burning..it was so welcoming! The house is very clean and the instructions Chris included were concise. He was very quick getting back to us whenever we needed help! We will definitely be back…the pictures do not do it justice!!!

Lisa was an outstanding host! She is very responsive to messages. The cabin was super clean and just as described/pictured; very cozy, perfect size. Great location for our long weekend fishing trip. Location was central to the lakes/ponds we were looking to fish. We brought our 16’ fishing boat along, Lisa was accommodating to our needs such as parking and charging. Definitely recommend this cabin for a stay! We will be returning before the fishing season is over and possibly during ski/snowboarding season.

Brooke's cozy and eclectic cottage was just perfect for a quick impromptu weekend in Lake Placid. The home is well appointed and super dog friendly. Brooke's communication was clear and friendly. She provided small extra touches that made us and our pup feel so welcome! Great host.

Our skiing group greatly enjoyed their stay. The place was perfect for our needs with our group size, location, and value. This place is an absolute gem! Proximity to Lake Placid for the essentials was convenient. Thank you so much Donna for opening your home to us.

We had a wonderful time at the Debar Cabin! Our dog loved the lawn and the fact that no one was around, so he could chase his ball without care. The view is top-notch, and the stargazing is excellent. While the cabin is off-grid, we didn't even notice! The battery banks keep the lights on and let you charge your devices. We went to the VIC, which was very peaceful and informative about the surrounding area. All in all, we loved it! We're already thinking about coming back next year.

Really enjoyed this cozy little cabin in Lake Clear! Great location, close to tons of hiking spots. The cabin had a stocked kitchen for cooking and a nice clean bathroom. I would definitely stay here again! And it was so fun to be greeted by friendly chickens in the mornings :)

The cabin is exactly as described and a great value for the price. Definitely not 5 star hotel style accommodations, but close to Lake Placid and good enough for a night of sleep!

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days. Super cute and rustic cabin. You can walk to the BBQ restaurant and it was delicious!! Our host was super friendly and helpful too. Thank you!

The hibernation station was the perfect little get away for our hiking weekend! We weren’t there much, but it served us perfectly for our needs. The location was quiet and respectful, the views of the lake were amazing, and the cabin was cozy. The hot water tank is small, 5 minutes tops at a time, but we were told beforehand and it re-heated quickly! Lovely little spot

Robby is a great host, friendly and accommodating. Great, little campground. The cabin is neat and clean and well appointed. Excellent wifi was provided. Very clean bathrooms. Even the quarters for the coin-op showers were provided!

If you are looking for a rustic cabin get away with some fantastic views this little tea room is the perfect spot. Its rustic appeal will leave lasting memories…. Our host Chris was great and took care of us during our stay. Great little cabin on the lake
